Booieann Strait Jacket Girl Booieann Strait Jacket Girl Booieann Basil nodded "I suppose so, and I'll get warmer once I start moving." She slung her tent back on her shoulder. Basil accepted the yummy offering. "Your a life saver you know that Jamie? I wasn't thinking we would have to bring food, or anything else on that matter." She smiled and pointed in front of her. "Onward!" and started her munching. "Hey there! You lost?" A friendly tree has appeared behind you! It wishes to hug you in painfully happy ways! HP: 3((Tree: 3+1 = 4; 4-6 = -2 damage to BasilBasil: 5+3 = 8; 8-6 = 2 damage done to tree!)) Basil jump back startled "I sure hope not, but I think you are!" She almost growled. She chuckled at Jamie's words, "Well, I'm gonna have some fun with my new friend then." Basil dropped her tent but held her food in her hand, then ran at the tree, swung her foot kicking the tree with her boot. ((>w< I need to make up more interesting ways of attacking.)) "Wow that was a nice one, here lemme try too!" The friendly tree thinks that this is some kind of game, and swings it branches at you in an alarming fashion. HP: 1((rolling)) ((Tree: 6+5 = 11; 11-6 = 5 damage done to BasilBasil: 1+2 = 3; 3-6 = -3 damage done to tree. D=< Basil's HP: 20)) "Ahhh!" Basil was knocked down into the snow, her food fell out of her hands. "Hey! You made me loose my food you jerk!" The pain of lost food hurt more than the swing of the tree. Basil picked up some snow and threw a snow ball at the tree in anger, which completely missed. "I'll get you next time dumb talking tree thing!" She shall avenge her food!

Alcie continued to move alongside Sin while they carrying Gabrian's serpentine form. There was something a little... ironic and funny about this situation but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Oh, she had almost forgotten about the demon party until Sin reminded her about it. That event seemed so far away at this point. They would have to endure this trip before they could even think about that.
"Haha. It's difficult to even think about the party at this point but it is a pleasant thought..." Mm. Alcie could feel the warmth of the fireplace, the glasses of sparkling cider and the soft hum of mingling and conversation in the background. That was a very pleasant thought indeed.
Snapping out of her daydream, the water demon heard Quarria offer rides to everybody and that sounded like a good idea. "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Quarria, mind if we hitch a ride?" Alcie's shoes were absolutely soaked and the remnants of her skirt were tattered and dripping water. Yeah, a ride would be good right now. With Gabrian still on her shoulders, Alcie made her way towards Quarria's large form.

Sin felt...weary, she couldn't help it she had taken a beating and the snow was cold. Still Gabrian's weight made her feel warmer, and Christof's scarf was keeping her chest and shoulders nice and warm. It was mainly her lovely long legs that felt frozen. She would have given a lot for a pair of pants or a long fur lines skirt. If she saw one of those joyful polar bears she was going to skin it.
"I'd rather think of the party or anything but what we're going to face ahead..." She was about to start ranting about how these attacking trees probably weren't the worst things they would be facing. She took a deep breath instead and tried to maintain a smile.
"Quarria? I'm Sin Err...and yes please we'd love a ride." She had tried to tough it ought but the ghoul made sense. There was no point in trudging along stubbornly if a ride wouldn't hurt anyone. Sin followed Alcie and gave Gabrian's scales a few more gentle strokes before smiling. "Are you feeling a little better now Gabrian?"

Quarria flicked her tail closer so the girls would not have far to walk. "Oh course you may both have a ride. You can just sit if you'd like, and you can put your packs down on my back if you wish. It would be the most logical for me to function in the place of transport right now, don't you think? And if you can wrap your hands in my tail-plume if you want. It's made of feathers, so it's sure to keep your hands warmer then nothing. Plus, it'll keep you more securely on." Quarria said happily, wiggling her tail's fluffy feathered end at the girl, the cuff near the end swishing back and forth. "Oh, and you can wrap your hands in that fabric piece down there, the gradient attached to the gold. That way, if one of you wants to use the feathers, although it should be long and wide enough for both of your hands and laps or all of your lower body if you sit cross-legged or kneeling-style, the fabric can help keep you warmer." The huge serpent was happy to be of assistance, and this way she could partake of the body warmth too. Win-win, right? (And it kind of amused Quarria to be carrying someone who was carrying a serpent.)
Quarria nodded her head again at the two girls, motioning for them to sit with a smile. "My full name is Quarria Reikis, and you may call me what you wish. I'm pleased to make your aquaintence Sin and...." She paused, realizing she didn't know the other girl's name.

Faint's ears pricked as Quarria spoke and he quivered slightly. Those feathers certainly looked warm... like his feather pillow-bed back at his dorm... Ohhh. He bet it would be much better than sitting here. He packed his things as quickly as he could and tentatively toed his way toward her.
With a nervous throat clearing - it was weird for him to talk to a creature so much larger than he was - he kind of raised his hand in greeting. "Do you... do you mind if I take you up on your offer?" His ears twitched in frozen misery and his freckles nearly disappeared on his cold-bitten, red face. He was worse than a soaking wet cat. He was a kittysicle.

Dead.. cat... thing...? Not only was he a dead cat but he's rewarded the title of thing. Kilometer’s ears perked before flattening against his head at what LW said. It's a given that what she said was true, it’s just odd to actually be called that. All that was said with another one of LWs signature giggles. Wolf form or not he’d recognize that giggle anywhere, that was definitely LW standing in front of him. In a sense he was glad that she wasn't so much larger then him. He felt very small originally but now he only feels small.
“What am I not wearing is more like it.” Kilometer answered back and sulked. He felt ridiculous all decorated the way he was. He’d prefer to go on this trip without having to dress up to be made a fool. If the lights weren't bad enough now he’s all decked out in an over sized cape. He really didn’t need anything to make himself more noticeable. First he was cold, then he was tangled in these annoying Christmas lights and now he's lugging around an over sized cape. Maybe it was good that he was the smallest here. He could easily hide from others view to avoid the shame.
At LW’s inquiry Kilometer was not going to decline. He was not in the position to tell her if she could stay or not. To him, it was ultimately her decision. If anything it’s better to stick with others you know when you’re somewhere strange, new and dangerous. Depending on what the others thought or did he’d probably just end up following one of them anyway. He did, after all, need to return Vaith his cape so not straying too far from the reaper might have been a good idea.
Stepping on the cape Kilometer curled up in it’s fluff, still watching the three. Kilometer tried blocking the cold air from entering his head by pitching his ears together the best he could. Hey, this might not be a bad idea after all. He could easily not step on snow when they are not walking by taking a seat on the rest of the cape!

For once it seemed Quarria's size and multitude of feathers was working to her advantage; her need for warmth was bringing in so many new people. While she was offering her tail to the girls, another student had come forward and was asking her if they could snuggle in her wings, as she'd previously offered.
Turning her head to look at the tiger-eared boy who had spoken to her, Quarria again lowered her face to eye-level. She gave him a smile and shrugged one of her wings, the one closest to him. "Of course. Which offer, exactly? Wing, ride, or sitting on my shoulder joint?" She asked, assuming it was 'wing' by the way he'd been looking when he'd come up. She extended the wing, folding it over so that it could encompass him if he wished it to. There was much room in the feathered crook, considering she could probably carry or warm the majority of her train car between her tail's room and under her wings. The huge feathers were soft and warm from where they'd been pressed to her form. "I'm sorry, I don't think I caught your name. I am Quarria Reikis, an Amphithere. Who might you be?" She asked her newest aquaintence.

Poor Gabrian, he looked so cold. Snakes and cold didn't mesh well, right? At least Sin and Alcie were nice enough to help him out. Junko looked up when Quarria made her offer again, shifting from foot to foot again as her teeth began to chatter. The makeshift shoes were helping but just from her getting colder, her feet were already cold to begin with. Okay, yeah. She would love the ride now. "I-is that offer still good?" She asked finally, trying not to shake with cold and failing quite miserably. "I would love a ride right about now."

Jamais flicked her tail. "Good job." She clapped when Basil was finished.
She chuckled as she stretched. "Perhaps we should get going before another jumps us?" She paused, "Oh it looks like it dropped you something too. Maybe it'll make up for the lost food?"

@GrnGriff
He'd not grown up in such a rigid family, he'd learned of other beings and made friends, sort of, with others. Something perhaps he should be glad for, he'd at least gotten to know and meet some members of other species.
"Yeah...so I doubt the things here will much appreciate it either. Though it's likely we may get a one up on them due to surprise." Surprise would help them, plus the weapons they each had. He had a nice snowball launcher, though really he wouldn't mind eating some snow either....it was yummy.
"I think, given circumstances, we all did well against that deer. You both did really well...and thank you Draven. I just wish that my sacrificed book had done some damage at least, and not been destroyed for nothing." He'd have to write home for a new book, the same one of course. He was sure his parents wouldn't mind getting him another book, Jack knew he had a lot of books in his school dorm room that they'd bought him so what was one more book?
"Your right, I think if we stick together we can handle anything." Cheering, bouncing even, he moved ahead of the two, smiling brightly over his shoulder at the other two. "We'll beat anything which comes at us and get to the Sandy Claws!" Flashing a victory sign, with a bright smile, he turned back ahead.
"If you turn again I'll take your bag Draven, so no worries over that. Though....if we both turn what should we do? Take a short break? We can't ask or expect Eracs to get three bags and you can't get yours far I'm sure....as for myself I'd have to drag it while moving backward." Which would put him with his back defenseless and open for attack.
