Julian reached out and touched Igneous' arm.

"Y-yeah," he replied shortly and gave her a small pat in reassurance. He watched her look around blindly for the source of his voice, so he could guess that she couldn't in the dark. He turned slightly at another ghoul's voice, one he didn't recognize.

"D-Do you see anything, besides us?" he asked her, glancing around again for the source of the scratching. It seemed there were only a few of them that were comfortable in the dim light. That wasn't a very good thing.

"I d-don't see anything, R-Rain," he told the zombie, still looking around, though he didn't move away from the stone ghoul just yet.

And then the voice broke the air. The demon frowned, turning to the source, trying to focus on the shadow figure.

"The professors and staff at Amityville are not very nice. It's possible that they even knew there could be danger. It's really hard to say. Be glad that you have never had detention." Rain shuddered at the memory of the bathroom and the feces everywhere and the battle. She had never been so excited to see bleach in all her unlife and she hated the stuff. Yes, she learned early on that the staff were not friends. They could not be trusted.

She was relieved when the intruder spoke. He certainly didn't sound very threatening and he was talking about an orb. Was he trying to help them? She had half a mind to leave him stuck until he explained himself first but that would be too mean.. right?

Mandy just sent a look in the direction of the voice that told her to shut up and let Rain deal with it. It was a threat, everyone should help right? The rest of them seemed to get that and weren't being snapped up. Sheesh.

Holding her ground as she waited for someone glowing to light up the threat so as to avoid tripping on anyone she felt let out a sigh of relief when it turned out to be nothing after all. Good, bit embarrassing but good. Now unconcerned the hissing that had been steadily coming from her stopped and her stance loosened. Let the other goody-goodies deal with this.

Deep paranoia had claimed the small witch, and she took one hand and pushed Alwine forward towards the door before turning around and pushing Bartholomew into the nearest seat and climbing into his lap.

"Go help them! You can see and we can't!!" She commanded of the girl, feeling absolutely awful about it. To herself, Belladonna promised she would make the girl an incredibly pretty new dress to make up for all of this, but right now she just wanted to sit down and NOT be near whatever was speaking from the doorway.

Besides, Rain was right. The staff could never be trusted. It had been Professor Red that had set up the first train ride that resulted in such fear from Belladonna!

"AHA!" Merope cried as his tail brushed against something. He lunged forwa- "OW!" The boy yelped and reeled back, rubbing his face. He reached out and felt around, encountering... stone? "Oh barnacles! Sorry!" His fins lowered in embarrassment as he apologized to Igneous, scooting back and away from the stone ghoul to give her room.

This action, of course, caused the boil to crash into Alwine and company instead. Upon contact the boil tried to turn away, but instead ended up tripping over himself and falling onto the floor with a loud WHUMPH! "I'm okay! Owww."

Oh no, someone had gotten hurt! This wasn't going well at all. She was torn between checking on the boil that had cried out or staying where she was. It didn't help that another was apologizing profusely. Staying where she was won over because she had to find out who this creature was on the train. She had to be on hand if things turned ugly, though she was growing more sure every second that he was harmless enough. Someone with the intent to cause harm wouldn't ask for help. She was sure of it.

"Sir, could you please explain who you are and what you are doing here while you are helped with your situation? You gave us quite a start." What light Jack offered was starting to help as the creature was almost visible.

In the dark, Tsetsiliya felt completely alone. She heard the ghoul who had been relaying her story earlier, Belladonna, shriek from somewhere in the cabin, and in all the confusion she remained in her seat.

Belladonna and Jack's story was repeating itself! That is surely what was happening now! And soon, they would all fall, one by one..

'No,' she shook her head, 'No, no, don't be silly.' She tried to reassure herself, and indeed she felt a little of it genuinely course through her as she saw the glow of another student.. Jack, it seemed to be. Then.. she heard the voice of the demon, or whomever it was in the cabin.

.. Had it all been a mistake then? She frowned, feeling even more confused than before. Her little party had already moved on to other things while she had been musing to herself, so now she felt rather alone. But for now it was best to let the situation sort out a bit before venturing forth to talk to someone else; it seemed the student council leader was taking charge and all she'd do was bump into other people (as some other students were doing). She was rather curious about what the intruder could want though - could she help?
