Haku wasn't sorry in the least. If something wanted to give them presents, there were less violent ways to do so. >>
Though he was surprised to see what it had left behind, and how it was drawing everyone in. Oddly, he felt his hand pop out of his pocket as well to reach for it, though he quickly suppressed the urge as he saw half of the cabin either go for it was well and, in the case of one demoness, sprint towards it.
Yeeeah, best not to fight the crowd. He sat back in his seat, also getting over the small adrenaline rush he had gotten from the event.
Note to self: don't bother fighting your own fights.

Sepheran sighed lightly the whole thing finally seeming to calm down...he could hear the jingle of a bell and debated trying to look for it, but by the sound of thing that's what all the others where trying to do as well.
Sephy settled instead for finding another empty seat too rest a while...at least the trip wasn't boring right?

Darn it! Once again, Xi had spaced out and missed the entire ordeal with the sheet ghost monster. He couldn't remember exactly what had happened after the loud crash and the lights incident, everything had happened so fast. Meng Xiang would have joined in the battle, though he had not been able to strike since everyone was in such a huge chaos! At least the attacker had left a little prize. Everyone was diving for it though, maybe he should try too?

From the front end of the train, Petro observed the other students and their various attacks, ducking when the odd item that was chucked at the intruder nearly hit him. He noted those who were very successful in their attempt, such as the large boil named G and the snake-ghoul from earlier. He was glad most of them seemed to know what they were doing and a part of him felt just the tiniest bit competitive, given his rather unsuccessful attempt. But he felt no remorse in attacking the intruder, after all he had demanded it state its business from the get-go. If the thing had wanted to give them whatever that was it left behind, it should have said it in the first place.
Still, having failed to defended against the ghost-sheet-thing, Petro felt himself undeserving of trying and simply stared at the pile-up of student. He felt goosebumps prickle his arm and he realized a cold breeze was wafting into the train from the broken window. Picking up a discarded textbook, he used the cover to sweep the shards of glass into a corner. Yes, Petro was cleaning up, if he couldn't protect the others from an intruder (as they so clearly had outdone him) he could do his part to protect them from getting hurt on the stray piece of cut glass.

What was that? It had skulls on it and it was so pretty! She made a mad dash for it, even sending Mimic off ahead to see if he could grab it but the train was full of students.

After the ridiculous throwing and shouting, some bed sheet covered heathon had managed to board the train car. It was insane how easy it was for things to hit, mangle and get on this supposedly moving train. Weren't the staff supposed to be protecting the train from things like this?
All the while Raziel had been contemplating this infuriating concept, other students had been attacking the thing that had appeared. All of a sudden, it disappeared. In its place was a small seasonal arrangement, without a second thought, Raziel made a mad dash for it, trying to be the first to grab whatever it was.

Well, at least the sheet covered creature was gone now, even if it had ended up not being a threat. Perhaps they should have waited until it had attacked first, but oh well. Too late to decide that now.
He noticed the object on the ground and dove for it, attempting to get to it before anyone else did. He wasn't even sure if he wanted it, or even what it was, but it was worth a shot. He could always give it to somebody else if he didn't like it.

Once finished with sweeping the bits of glass away, Petro gravitated towards the group. Mostly for the body heat because while the train had been warm when he first got in, with the window still broken (maybe he ought to suggest to G they find something to board it up with?) and the breeze still blowing in, the barely dressed monster found the chill uncomfortable. Oh he won't complain about it, having learned complaining about anything made his relatives intentionally keep the situation unpleasant for him. He kept within the fringes of the group, half because he was using this opportunity to build his endurance for the cold and half because if it got too cold he could always go nearer the group for the warmth.

Having missed the shiny, Nefertari stood back and shivered a bit. The Egyptian hated the cold and the open window was not giving much warmth to the situation. She opened her wings a bit and wrapped them around her bare midsection. Feathers did provide some warmth, at least from the wind. She was use to a cool breeze from flying after all but at least the sun was out most of the time.
As she walked back she saw Petro and smiled a bit, "And to think in my country we prefer an open window."

It took Petro a moment to realize the winged ghoul was talking to him. She was talking to him, wasn't she? "I know what you mean. I'm used to the heat more'n the cold. I also wasn't listening earlier so I didn't catch your name," he added with a small, wry smile. He didn't sound embarrassed in his admittance. "Maybe that thing should come back and give us another go at it. It'd help keep us warm at least."
Whether Petro was making a joke or was actually serious was anybody's guess.

"Oh, I'm Nefertari, sphnix from Egypt. And yes, another fight would keep the blood pumping but alas we seemed to have defeated the thing for now," she wasn't so sure the fighting was over just yet. It was just over for that thing. But it did do much for her need to tussle. She had gotten a good hit in and it had been defeated. She would have prefered a one-on-one but in a car full of studnets that was rather hard to do. She walked over to Petro and wrapped a wing around him, keeping her other around herself.
"So what's your name my equine friend?" her cat eyes looked to him with the iniate curiousity that always seemed to fill them. He interested her. She rarely met horse based creatures in her country as they were mostly pack animals. Horses weren't really mystical creatures.

Had Petro not fought together with the sphinx just moments ago, the tikbalang might have been more uncomfortable about having her wing around him. Not that he was perfectly relaxed about it. He had stiffened instinctively when he felt feathers brush against his skin, arm nearly shooting outwards to push away from her instead of rising to firmly direct the wing away from his mane. "Name's Petro," he frowned as his arm lowered back to his side, guard still up even as he settled into the resulting warmth from the female monster. "Tikbalang from the Forest Guardian clan. Not really used to being around those outside of my clan." It was an explanation not really an apology but it could be viewed as such.
"Don't really have a lot of friends outside the clan," he adds, "Do sphinxes live in groups or are you more of the solitary kind?" He himself was curious. Particularly who had trained her to fight or whether it was all self-taught.
