... Boo. ...
*A smile was playing on Koth's face as he looked over their captives, and he gave an appreciative nod to Sparrow before cackling like a madman*
Cece! Are you o- okay!? W- wh- what do you mean people w- want with us!?

'I-I was trying to distract--I--I was--s-someone will be here soon, I-I called for help!' Cecelia warned.
Sparrow stared back at the girl impassively before responding with 'If they are as simple to overpower as you, I don't think we're going to have a problem.' The blonde then looked sidelong at her master before adding 'I suppose there really are more humans than these...'

Humans are... an infestation. There are always more... Though there should not have been any here. ... Where is your home, humans? Where have you been hiding...?

'D-don't say anything!' Cecelia told her friend, holding an arm out protectively in front of Jacob and hastily wiping the blood from her nose away on her sleeve.
Sparrow crossed her arms. 'Why are you making this so difficult?'
'Y-you're attacking us!' Cece declared in exasperation.
'This is normal.' The clone said matter-of-factly, frowning slightly. She thought of perhaps killing one human to push the other into talking, but suspected she ought to wait for the command. 'You are the abnormality.'

Attacking you, are we? Who was it then who cast... the first stone?
*Koth chuckled at the sore pun he had made, hand still alive with the powers of DRK*
*Jacob eyed a nearby rock, then glanced between it and Sparrow, trying to determine if he could snatch it and strike her with it*
Y- you shouldn't h- have come here!

'Y-you were going to hurt Jacob!' Cecelia protested.
Sparrow grew weary of the banter and looked again to Koth. 'Master? What should I do?'

We could string them up... Summon the worms for a quick bite... ... Or let them free. ... Yes... These two seem... useless. We shall let them go.
*Koth let the DRK in his hand fade away as it dropped back to his side, though the survivors were unaware the power was focused now inside his head as he spoke to Sparrow silently through it*
We'll let them go... We'll hide in the DRK and follow them to where they hide.

Okay, Master.
Sparrow stood back, giving the others a berth and nodding. Cecelia was hesitant at first, still clutching her sore but not broken nose with one hand. Still, a chance to escape had made itself known. Tugging on Jacob's sleeve, she clambered to her feet and dragged him off toward the rocks from whence she had been dragged.
Sparrow flickered, becoming an indigo shade and stalking after.

*Koth smiled and phased out into DRK, little Jacob fleeing after Cecelia in fright*
I d- don't know who those p- people were, but I d- don't like them one bit!

Sparrow followed the two closely as they slipped behind the waterfall, Cecelia saying 'Let's just--ugh, owww...my nose is killing me....a-anyway, let's go find my mom!'
The human girl paused, allowing Jacob to enter an almost indiscernible crack in the stone wall before disappearing, herself. Sparrow hurriedly went right through the wall, hasty not to lose her targets, as she stalked them down a winding path.

*Jacob and Cecelia moved quickly through the crevice, spiraling back and downward to an opening a little more than twice the size of the lake that was now above them. Buildings were etched out of the stone, huts of wood and straw were also placed throughout for those who seek comfort of the civilization long behind them. A thin, carefully tended stream divided the settlement in half, being fed in from seeping waters from the lake above. There were a few people wandering the makeshift streets, though many remained indoors. Light here was provided singlehandedly by a variety of bio-luminescent plants that grew on vines, grown in such a way to illuminate the entire settlement at nearly half the brightness of daylight.*
*Koth was just behind Sparrow, watching silently as they stalked*

When the other two stepped out onto the streets, Sparrow hung back, looking around at the strange new environment.
An entire hive of humans?

I don't know why I never... knew it before. Something strange about this...
*Jacob went running in, looking for Cecelia's mother, knowing she would better handle things than his own parents*

Sparrow branched off, ducking into a few of the houses to observe just how many humans there appeared to be.
Cecelia, meanwhile, had called her mother and was explaining the situation. While both had been certain she could think of something, she looked rather lost.
'...With...purple magic powers?' The woman asked. They seemed a little old for imaginary games, but she had never heard of such a thing.

*Koth stepped lightly into the city, keeping to the shadows while phased out to avoid alerting anyone to his presence. The plants were curious even to him, and when nobody was looking he phased in and consumed one*
