a. Buy popcorn and soda... to share.
Well, at least they'd gotten into the movie free. He'd been fully ready to buy tickets for them both (as a gentleman should... not that she could really be considered a lady beyond genetics...) but hey, he couldn't complain. Besides, when she'd leaned over to rest her... uh... chest on the counter to talk to the chick behind the booth (oh god, that was hot) he'd gotten a pretty good (ACCIDENTAL) view of her a**... ... back before he'd looked away. (LilithLilithLilithLili...)
'Well, what are you waiting for?'
He'd only glanced back at that point, having to shake those other thoughts away (this was beginning to become a habit) before jerking his thumb behind him, starting to walk backward for a second.
"You go ahead and get us some seats, I'll catch up in a sec," he replied, waiting until she'd turned around before going to get the snacks and slipping into the dark theatre, sitting down next to her. He felt a little awkward, carrying the one drink and large popcorn, and for a moment he thought he might have seen her give him a questioning look, like 'you didn't get me one?' But he had a plan -- it gave him a chance to lean over and whisper in her ear. Which was probably a really bad idea (THINK OF LILITH) but he just couldn't help himself. It was for the rest of the movie-goers, definitely -- he didn't want to disturb their viewing experience. That would be rude.
"Want some popcorn?"

C. Stealthily wind your fingers together in a tense moment.
The whole not-paying-for-tickets thing was kind of cool, even if the pimpled demon watched them until they were well inside the theater. Jealousy wasn't pretty on anyone, and he had to take care to keep it from his own features as they sat down. Not that she was making it easy, her perfume coiling around him with every shallow breath, dark eyes challenging in a way that was different from the lot he'd stood against before.
The movie started, following a predictable storyline with buckets of blood and dumb chase scenes. The blonde with the dewy eyes went first. Pretty standard stuff, to his disappointment. Whoever had said it was great obviously didn't know what made a film work.
It was a cat yowling suddenly from off screen that had Steve gripping at his armrest, realizing a second too late that he had snagged one delicate hand. Embarrassed, he watching for a reaction from his periphery, awaiting a slap or a snort, something derisive at least. When nothing bad was forthcoming, he decided there was no going back from the particular blunder, and gently laced his fingers up with hers instead. At least if she killed him now, he could honestly say he'd touched her. That's really sad, man.

STAGE SIX: DINNERTIME The movie over, Lust still snickering over the sorry excuse for a plot and pointing out every minor flaw in continuity, the duo stepped out onto the street. Steve was almost positive that she was standing closer to him now -- enough so that their shoulders almost pumped, that he could smell whatever perfume it was she wore. There was a long, distracting moment of silence before she broke it. "Well, are we eating or what?" Her expression expectant, Lust tipped her head and waited for him to tell her where they were going. Restaurant choice? a. Fancy french restaurant b. Chinese takeout c. Italian/Pizza Parlor d. After the movie, to make things even more romantic, he took her to a french restaurant named "Le pain mou".

Steve mentally went through his bank account. Dinner? He could do that as long as it wasn't too extravagant!
"I know a great diner near here," he said with a smile. "It's not fancy like I am sure you are use to, but the food is good and their pie is to die for!"

The movie had given him some time to cool himself off and try to get it together. But man was she hot!
He winks suggestively at her, trying to play the "cool guy" routine again.

Most awkward movie ever. He didn't remember a second of it!
Steve stood there, her perfume was intoxicating!
Wait...
Dinner? Luckily he had his charge card... but no money for anything expensive. Burgers seemed to cheap.
Hmmmm.
Pizza? No to messy.
Aha. "I know a great Chinese place, you can use chopsticks right?"
The plan: get chinese and eat it on a curb somewhere, awesome.

Unfortunately, Steve didn't have all the money in the world, and between gassing up the car, buying the popcorn and buying this spiffy leather jacket, he didn't have the money to take her out to a place she really deserved. He felt bad about it but hey, what girl didn't like honesty? Opening the car door for her, he tried to make light of their dinner choice. "How's about that diner close to your place? I hear they have killer spookshakes."

"Yes, of course we're eating! I can't let a pretty girl like yourself starve, now can I? NOT THAT YOU'RE FAT, OR ANYTHING. Oh god.. I mean, um... I'm sorry, I'm not good at talking to beautiful girls... they make me so nervous." At least he'd saved that one. PHEW!
"There's a nice chinese place around here, we can go back to my place, or yours, and watch the sunset. It's going to be beautiful tonight. But I don't think any amount of beauty could match yours." Except maybe Lilith's... But he wouldn't admit that.

Phew. Steve felt a lot more relaxed after the movie so he was kind of curious to see how this was all going to end. He could smell the perfume she was wearing and it smelled wonderful. It only made him want to impress her even more. Though, Steve was unsure about the rest of his date. It was kind of difficult picking a restaurant because girls and food were strange... Some of them were too skinny to eat and then there were some girls with huge appetites. Personally, he liked a girl with an appetite so he hoped that Lust was ready to eat. He had picked out his favorite italian/pizza parlor and the food there was delicious. Everything was home style and the pizza was perfect. It was a hundred times better than any burger joint. "There's this pizza parlor nearby. Hope you're hungry." Smiling at her, Steve hoped that he wasn't making a fool of himself...

A fancy restaurant wasn't right for a first date, but neither was fast food. A pizza place was a nice joint with communal food and the proper space to flirt talk over the table. Maybe they could share a soda!

Steve didn't want to put her apparent better mood into the gutter without him joining her so he looked at her. He looked around for a place. He seen a fancy restaurant but when looking at her attire, he instead looked across the street until he found a nice Italian/Pizza Parlor.

Steve frowned softly as he pondered over their choices. He didn't think he had the money for a french restaurant or the reservation.
He tilted his head, "How do you like Chinese?" He asked curiously as he glanced at the place across the street.

d. Diner close to home
"There's this little place I frequent," Steve said, loading them back on the scooter and puttering off. "It's kinda quiet, and they have a pretty big variety. They take requests even." Steve fell silent for the rest of the journey. He was actually beginning to enjoy himself. It didn't mean he was interested in Lust. He just thought it was pleasant to spend an evening socializing.
