Kendal trudged along with her head down. She didn't like it when people looked at her face. It made her very paranoid. She bumped into Alec and fell on her butt. "I'm sorry." She said in a quiet, soft voice. A picture was on the ground by Alec's feet. It was a picture of her dead twin sister. She dropped it when she fell. "I'm really sorry." She said again.

Kendal looked up at Alec, and she tilted her head. She stood up and looked at the picture, then pocket it. "Thank you." She smiled a little and held a hand out. "I'm Kendal." She gave him a friendly smile.
