Imhotep was pleased that the woman seemed to agree with allowing one minion for the other till she could get enough people to make her own army. "Her name is Suzette Kris. She's cunning and wicked and I'm sure that you'll love her mind." He told her. There were probably many other vampires in his net, but they are nothing like Suzette.

✄ --------------------- With the situation diffused, he couldn't insist on something that he had won, though his description of the girl intrigued him. Cunning and wicked? Certainly sounded like her type of girl, though she would still be cautious. This Suzette Kris sounded like she could provide a bit of fun, maybe help cause some trouble. She had no doubt that this girl was capable of near anything she could ask, and so she would be sure to test this girl before entrusting her with anything even vaguely important. "She sounds like quite a lovely thing." she mused, sipping her wine. Oh, the things she could do with her new toy.

The vampire lord nodded. He agreed that she was a very lovely thing. "I see her one day becoming a mistress to a Lord or maybe a Lady. She is lovely and reminds me much of you." The man answered with a smirk. She was the beautiful type, but not the type that would make a very good leader. She would probably keep the man in her live happy and pleased through the use of her body.

✄ --------------------- Raising a brow at his comment about mistresses and such, she was now even more intrigued. As one who was half succubus, she doubted the girl could give her a run for her money, but that didn't mean she didn't want to test the girl. Her lips curled into an amused smile at his comment of the girl reminding him of her. "Is that so?" she questioned, restraining any unpleasantness. "Do I seem the type to serve and become a mistress?" she questioned, though there was something in her tone that suggested proceeding with caution. She had posed as a mistress once or twice, though only when it meant completing her mission.

Imhotep knew where this was going. He had been entrapped by so many women in the past that this was an easy fix form him. "Yes and no. You could be a mistress, but compared to others, you're better of being a Lady. The difference between you and them is that you have a brain and you know how to use it." He answered the woman. There was no way he would tricked by those means anymore. He had enough of women like that.

✄ --------------------- Her brow didn't lower as he spoke, and she chose not to sigh dramatically. She didn't take the comment sincerely, it was too polished and too quickly formulated for sincerity, and she knew he was well versed in social politics. This was not something worth disputing over, it was actually rather to her advantage if he thought her incapable of leadership and the like, so she didn't press. "If that is what you truly think." she answered, nothing in her tone to implicate that she doubted his words. She had formulated her role and character quite carefully, and so she wouldn't ruin it now.

Imhotep was a bit stubborn. He was old and crazy. Not old and insane. He wondered about her motives behind her words. "If you'd like I could treat you like a mistress." He offered wondering what she was thinking. Depending on her reaction it would mean that she did or she didn't like the way he was acting. "What do you really have up your sleeve?" He was putting her on the spot now.

✄ --------------------- Amusement became clear on her face, and her lips curled into an almost vicious smile. "You can treat me however you wish." her tone was almost flirtatious, though something almost dangerous glinted in her eyes. Poking at the remains of food on her plate, she finished off the last of her steak before she spoke again. False surprise crossed her features at his question, and her smile turned to a smirk. "Now my dear, what sort of spy would I be if I spilled everything at the slightest provocation?" she questioned, sipping her wine. "Besides, I'm not currently wearing sleeves." she pointed out, as the dress she wore had no sleeves at all. It was a rather silly thing to ask, as one such as herself always had some angle they were working.

Imhotep was going to make a point to her that he was still the only master of the dungeon and she may want to be wise in her words. He got up and walked over to her side and table before moving her head up and looked at her face and curves of her body. "I can do what I wish huh? You may regret that one day. I would suggest that you do as you wish. Maybe I can keep that veil that you use to cover your true self." He commented to the woman.

✄ --------------------- The woman didn't flinch nor look away as he approached and lifted her face, the almost vicious smile still in place. He didn't know what she was capable of, though she wouldn't object to what he seemed to have in mind as his eyes roamed her figure. "We shall see." she answered his comment about regret, as she had regretted very few things in her life. "I don't know about a veil, but I wish you luck trying to rid me of it. It has been so long that even I do not remember what I'm really like." she commented, her tone giving no reason to doubt her statements. Nabire needed no encouragements to do as she wished, she always did, but she was curious as to just what the vampire had in mind.

Imhotep let her free. He wasn't going to start a fight or proclaim a challenge. "Well my dear, you are not the only one who has lost their true self. None of us can truly be free unless we can knock down the veil that hides us all." He was not talking about the veil that each person has for themselves, but the veil that hid their world from that of the mortals. Even if Imhotep was secretly on the side of the wizard council he still had that desire to be on the other side.

✄ --------------------- With control over her chin once more, she reached for her wine glass again. Sloshing the liquid about the interior of the glass for a moment, considering his statement. "This is true." was her chosen phrase, as it was not a topic she was pleased to talk about. The Veil restrained them all, and worst of all, there was a council full of humans that ran it. Magical humans, but still humans none the less. As one who had never been human, this fact made her very unhappy. She might not be so unhappy with the arrangement if there was some variety in the group that ruled the Veil, but there wasn't, and she was angry.

The man moved back to his seat. "Thanks to those blasted wizards the number of vampires have decline, all the ones I've changed have been lost, and what I have now are the minions in his dungeon and a infant." Imhotep commented. He wasn't the type to change people without reasoning. He had some affection to the ones he changed. He had broken him with each death of a changeling. He wanted his revenge for them.

✄ --------------------- Finishing her wine, she listened to his comments. It seemed he wasn't fond of the human wizards either, though she was surprised to hear that all of those he had changed personally had been lost. She hadn't known that, and she was actually quite impressed that he managed to keep his cover after such a terrible occurrence. "I just don't like humans." she sighed, though her reasons for opposing the council certainly went deeper than that. Friends had been lost and subordinates had been sacrificed, and it was because of this that she was still quite bitter. "Some minions are better than none." she added, setting her empty wine glass aside.

Imhotep supposed that it was true that some was better than none, but the others shared blood with him. He had control over them where as the younger vampires were true minions by someone else. "Yes, but they are sired by someone else. They do not have a connection with me and if their mastered ordered them to then they would oppose me in a heartbeat. They are not as trustworthy."
