Gavin gave a little chuckle as Ask told him in a hushed tone he couldn't dance. "It's as easy as can be. See, you're doing it fine already." He gave Ask a wide grin as Ask began dancing too. Though just as the two of them were really getting into dancing to the the song, the music changed, and on came the first slow song of the night. "Hmm well..." Gavin gave Ask a sidelong glance before moving in close and starting to get into the position to slow dance.

Gavin placed his hand on Ask's hip, and put Ask's hand on his shoulder and then with his other hand took Ask's free hand in his own. He leaned in and whispered in Ask's ear. "Just follow my lead." He paused for a second as a thought occured to him. That thought caused him to give Ask an utterly impish grin before leaning back in for another whisper. "Halos on your boxers? Cute." Trying to make Ask blush was just too much of a temptation for Gavin.

Willow couldn't help but feel delighted as Theo replied back to her. It's not so much that she didn't expect him to, but just that...sometimes it seemed like people didn't understood how easily she switched tracks, but Theo seemed to roll right along with it. Though the underlying suggestiveness made her blush a bit again. Leave it to a boy...though she guessed her own reply had warranted it. Still though. "Hmmm well I won't bite you unless you give me a good reason to." She gave him a careful look, followed up by a smile.

Unfortunately for Theo, either he wasn't being as sneaky as he thought he was, or Willow was just observant enough to notice all his glances back at Sergei. She turned around and peered over her shoulder. What on earth was he looking at? There was a boy who was dressed as a roman soldier looking right at Theo. Logic dictated to Willow that's who Theo was looking at. He didn't seem that interesting to her. His costume was nice and all but, but she was definitely more interested in returning to her conversation with Theo instead of looking at him. "Who's that?" She tilted her head back to gesture to Sergei. "Is he your friend?"

Both Adeline and Sorrel earned a grateful smile from Nadia as they commiserated with her about the bee boy and her stupid sister. Well they were more worried about the boy then her sister, but her sister was obviously even more stupid for enjoying her conversation with any boy that Adeline and Sorrel didn't like.

As the conversation moved on to Hank staring at either Sorrel or Adeline, Nadia gave a little glance to her "cousin" to try to discern which girl he was looking at. From what she could tell it was indeed Adeline. She leaned in closer to Adeline and spoke with a hush to her voice. "He's looking at you. He's my cousin. His name is Hank. He's kind of quiet, but he makes good sandwiches." Nadia smiled a bit at Adeline. It seemed as though she could add good taste in women to her list of things she knew about Hank.

Edmund gave a soft chuckle as Cedric tried to place his words about dancing, but he couldn't hide the pain on his face as he and Aiden talked about the events of the spring. That had been when he met Aiden, Andy and... Mira. They had danced, and later he'd...promised to protect her and...well now she was gone. He didn't understand why or even know where to look for her, but thinking of it made him sad.

"Dancing can be....fun with the right person Cedric...you ought to give it a try." Edmund gave him a soft sad smile. Then he turned to Aiden giving a little shake of his head. "It wasn't Deskri that was causing the problem it was a girl....who looked like..." He looked off in Sonnet's direction. "But not her." He was quiet a moment before he looked at Aiden again. "Have you heard from...."

No. Edmund didn't want to ask that, and he promised himself he wouldn't if he saw Aiden here. He didn't want to spoil Aiden's evening by brining up something that might be so painful. Instead he just gave another little shake of his head and tried to give Aiden a smile that didn't look sad. While the smile itself was the usual soft smile he gave to his friend, his eyes still held the sadness he felt. He cleared his throat a little and then nodded his head to Cedric. "If you'll um, excuse me I wanted to get some punch before it all gets sloshed on the floor."

Turning his back on his friend and the boy, Edmund made his way over to the snack table. What remained of it anyway. The punch had sloshed half out of the bowl and half onto the floor, making it look like the table was surrounded in a small pool of fresh blood. The thought almost made Edmund think better of the punch, but his thirst overrode it. He grabbed a cup and took the ladle and began filling his cup. For some reason he felt, well, strange. Edmund couldn't place the feeling, but something felt odd. Shaking himself slightly, he continued to fill his cup, bringing it to his lips to sip once it was full. As soon as the liquid hit his tongue Edmund felt pain like he never had before surging through his head. He gave a strangled sounding cry and dropped the cup in his haste to grab his head. Clutching his head, Edmund hit his knees and let out another pained noise before he finally fell to the ground unconscious.

He'd endured watching Gavin drag Ask off to the dance floor, and even only given a mild noise of annoyance as Gavin pulled him into a slow dance, but watching Ask fall to the ground was too much for Kei. Obviously Gavin was being a brat, and poor Ask was taking the brunt of it. Besides all that blushing Gavin was making Ask doing? Kei didn't know why, but it made jealously burn through him. He stomped over to where Gavin and Ask were and swiftly dove down to Ask's side, giving Gavin a vicious glare.

"What do you think you're doing Gavin?! Leave Ask alone." He hovered over Ask like a protective bird. You could almost see his proverbial feathers all fluffed out in rage.

Gavin blinked in surprise as Kei suddenly swooped over. He was just going to charmingly help Ask up and keep dancing with him. What did Kei think he was doing? It wasn't like he'd been doing anything to hurt Ask, just a little good natured teasing.

"I'm not doing anything wrong! We're just dancing." Gavin folded his arms over his chest and rolled his eyes at Kei. "Ask tripped, that's all." With that Gavin bent down and offered a hand to help Ask up.

Oh no. Kei wasn't going to have any of that. HE was going to help Ask up, not Gavin. He threw his arms around Ask, hugging him to himself. "Ask didn't even want to dance in the first place! Just leave him alone." He shot Gavin another vicious glare. He'd fight Gavin if he had to. Gavin better not even think he wouldn't.

Ask fell to the floor and landed on his tush. Clearly tonight was "embarrass Ask to death" night. He'd just fallen in the middle of the slow dance and in the middle of the dance floor of all things. He was getting tired of blushing his head off.

These thoughts only lasted a fraction of a second before Kei was there in an all concerned rage. Gavin looked surprised and Ask couldn't blame him. Where'd Kei come from? One minute he was on the floor and the next, well he was still on the floor but he was in Kei's protective arms. Gavin had been reaching to help him up and Kei snapped at him.

Where had tonight come from? It had to be some evil plot of higher beings. This many things just didn't go wrong at once. Ask decided he should have stayed in bed this morning. How was he going to escape Kei's grip of death, and Gavin's determined dancing? Couldn't he just go hide in a corner and pretend nothing had happened?

He considered jumping into another dimension to get away but that'd be super rude and who knows what the two would do to each other if he wasn't there to mediate.

"I-it's ok Gavin." Ask started to say when he apologized and then he had to bring up the boxers, again! He groaned as he felt the tell tale heat in his cheeks that he'd been feeling all to often tonight and he knew he must be red as a tomato.

When Kei trailed off about the boxers Ask couldn't help but face-palm in embarrassment. Maybe he should go kick Gavin. And he left without a fight at all! He didn't know whether to feel relieved, insulted or if he should be feeling anything at all!

"N-no, he didn't do anything awful, Kei. He just pulled me out here to dance." Yeah, and saw his boxers, and called them cute, called him cute for that matter, and then slow danced with him which led to him falling on his tush for everyone to see. Nothing awful at all. He was still considering kicking him later.

"Can we stand up now?" He asked hesitantly. Who knows what weirdness Kei was going to pull out of his hat if he moved too suddenly? Better safe then sorry. Too bad that hadn't worked with Gavin.

Cedric smiled. "I suppose your right Edmund. I just need to find that someone," he said before Edmund headed off to the punchbowl.

Sonnet spun on her heels as she heard someone hit the ground with a cry. It was the cow boy. Oh dear! With her extended height came an extended stride and she was there in mere moments, though her took her shoes off as soon as she got there so they wouldn't get in the way of tending to the poor teen.

Quick checks. Nothing seemed to be broken, so propping him up would be safe. She scooped up the boy's head in her arms, uncaring of the food and punch now seeping up through her clothing. She laid his head on her lap, very worried.

"Sweetie?" she asked to him, not knowing his name. "Are you all right?" She gently tapped his face with her hand. If he did not rouse soon she'd take him to the nurses.

Oh, now that was not good. Cedric had also started bolting over to the table when he saw Edmund hit the ground. That was the proper way to respond to that, right? No one else seemed to care that a large fellow dressed like a cow passed out near the punch bowl.

No, this was the right action to take. He made sure not to get into Aiden's way, in case he was faster then Cedric was.

Good, Sonnet was there. He knew she could help. "His name is Edmund," he told her, because really, hearing Sonnet call him sweetie was rather creepy.

Moving Vic in his arms to a more comfortable position, Markus gave a small sigh and a smile made its way to his face. "That could be it and maybe you two can start tomorrow. What do you say?" Markus ask with a chipper tone in his voice. "When you two have a good nights rest along with a healthy breakfast, you can teach him whatever you want. I'm sure Vic would like that."

And then a kid fell unconscious, the mutterings and echoing of other metas managing to find their way to the now broken punch stand. Her eyes making their way with the group, before she felt a small tug on her arm. Turning to look down at Moira, a small smile on her lips at the sight of her daughter as she bent down,

"Okay, be safe then. I'll come to pick you up at 1, okay?" She replied, moving to give her a pat on the head, "Mommy needs to take care of something," And with that, she wandered off towards the group. Perhaps, this wasn't the place for her to take a bit of charge, but the table needed cleaning.

"Sonnet, take him to the nurse, he could be poisoned," She spoke moving then to closer her eyes, the mess on the floor now beginning to take, slowly floating its way back onto the table, before the cloth wrapped around the food, making it a rather effective trash bag. She wasn't willing to take a further chance with the food now. If it had made someone unconscious, chances were (Especially with the history of Halloween) something had gotten poisoned.

A quick check on her children, Moira was headed off, Silas was eating the last bit of food, along with a new friend apparently, and Yoko.

Well, she had gone missing, though, given the history of her children, Yoko would show up sometime soon. At least, she hoped so.
