 ((Sandcastle posts first~))
Oh, thank God, the contest had started! Theresa was bored out of her mind with no real escape, unless she wanted to be awkward about it. She looked at her brother, then to her nephew with a forced grin, although some of it came with ease at the relief in getting out of the stifling atmosphere. “Alright, men, head on out to build those forts! Go on, have fun! Good luck!” She said a bit too eagerly with some gentle nudges to both of them. Kade looked up from his horrible little dry pile of sand to look at Junior hesitantly. He cracked a small smile and offered a hand to the kid, who glanced at it quietly for a moment before taking it in a moment of complete cuteness that would make anyone die on sight.. Or be like Theresa and smile softly. From that small action, it reassured her enough to believe Kade wasn't that bad of a parent. A thought she would later look back on and scoff because, hell, one cute, fluffy hand holding doesn't change anything. Oh, well, who was she to put a damper on the festival?
Kade had let Junior go to a spot next to him so the boy could start his castle! He let Zap sit down next to him while he gathered a bucket from Kade, already shaped in the form of some kind of castle.. He wasn't sure what it was supposed to be, but he went with a castle. He filled it up and packed it, making three stacks next to each other soon enough. He then proceeded to try and make shapes inside the towers – like seashells and sharks.. Once he finished doing that, he stuck Zap ontop as, of course, the king of the castle~

..The castle had almost crumbled in itself.. oh, well, it was decent enough and at least Zap looked happy! Though, now he was mocking Junior for being a horrible castle builder. It was only because of the great King Zap that it amounted to anything, just like how Junior would be nothing without the rock. NOTHING.
Over on Kade's side of the spectrum, the man was enjoying this! Artistic endeavors? Please, Kade was as creative as any artist~ Plus, he had years of experience on sandcastle building! Whenever Kim wouldn't play with him or Tess and Jacob were too busy doing their own thing at the beach, Kade would just be left to build sandcastles~ Or, rather, he would make fun designs in the sand~! He was currently packing little heart shaped, shallow buckets, one was like a little crab, and the third was a cute fish~ He hummed idly to himself as he started to make the tragic love story between a crabbie and a fishie.. Oh, the miseries of the animals in the sea! They were just as bad off as the people on the land, of course. Because, no matter where one goes, there's always some jerk who plays hurtful games~

Mitsukai watched as she noticed people beginning to make sand castles. It seemed like it was for some sort of contest. While the little girl didn't care to participate in the contest she did like the idea of sand castle making and so she began to fill her bucket with sand.
Usagi was looking around the beach when a girl with red(orange?) hair approached her. If she remembered correctly she was the girl who won the goddess festival. "I'm Usagi," she said, introducing herself. While Usagi didn't care much for frisbee or anything somewhat athletic she thought it would be rude to refuse the girl's invitation. Besides, she seemed nice and Usagi needed more friends. "I'm not very good at catching and throwing but I can try," she told her.

It didn't take long into waiting for Rachel's response for her to shift her vigilance back into top gear and start to scan the crowd once again, specifically due to the movement in the crowd. The sandcastle contest had started up, obviously, but that wasn't enough to keep her focused on Rachel. Any movement could be mere coincidence – someone using the contest as a means to hide what they were really up to! ..What they were up to? Ah, Romane hadn't thought that far ahead, but she knew it had to be something. She was almost completely certain of that! ..Yes, the extra measures Rachel had started to take hadn't taken effect just yet, so her own hypersensitive mind was still just as jumpy as ever- ah. She froze, one hand went to her gun, the other went to Rachel's arm to grip it suddenly. Eyes widened momentarily before sharply narrowing in on one such offender. “7 o' clock.” She warned in a hiss with a nod to Tristan, one of the men playing volleyball and the carrier of a blatant Anarchy symbol tattooed on his chest. Not like who she knew who it was just yet, but surely Rachel could see the danger! She didn't recognize him from any of the files they had at the station.. Newcomer? ..Fan Cuplrit? No, no, she had that man - wait, but.. Possibly an accomplice? No, definitely.

Alex flinched when Lotte threw the watergun at him and it whacked him on the arm. He muttered angrily under his breath as he stared down at the gun for a while. It made him angry just looking at it, so he stopped it into the sand a few times before turning and walking away. River, her sides hurting from laughing so hard, stumbled after him.
When the start of the sandcastle contest started, Natalia grabbed Rory's sleeve and dragged him down to get their things. After filling up a bucket with wet sand, the two plopped down on the sand. "Okay, Rory," Natalia began, pointing her shovel at the blonde boy. "Our castle will be so ******** awesome, it'll be TWO castles. So you make one, I make another, and then we'll smash 'em together!" Really, this was more of a tactical move on Nat's part. She knew that Rory would probably make a better castle than she would, since that's how she worked. That being said, it didn't mean that she was above mooching off of Rory's possible success. Because at this moment, her castle looked more like a dome.

Rory glanced over at Natalia as he worked, to check and see what she was doing. That looked... err... like a pile of sand! He quickly looked away. If she caught him staring with whatever pitying look he was sure he had, only bad things would happen. She had the shovel, afterall. Taking the bucket, he made a tower. That was what sandcastles were supposed to look like, right? He could add extra decorations, too~
But halfway through carving in decorations on his castle, the thing exploded! Rory sat there in shock, staring at the pile of wet sand his tower had become. Natalia let out a tired sigh. "Goddamit, Rory!"

Integra dove for the ball, trying her best to thwart Micah's spike. Damn! Spikes already!? They had just gotten started! These boys were playing rough from the get go. Fine if they wanted to be that way. She would have to save the day and set it up so Leila could spike it.

Woah! That had went fast! Leila wasn't expecting a spike right away either. Weren't they supose to start all nice and then become rough and kick their asses? That wasn't fair! Hopefully, Integra had been able to hit the ball before it touched down, now, she just had to slam it on the other side of the net and hope for the best!
Ah! There you go! Perfect Smash! The ball had went right back into their side of the net! Try to beat that, sucker!

Snowe Fouxx ~ The summers at zero below And winters taking a vacation Wrap me up in the warm snow Such a confusing sensation ----------------------------------------------------------------------“Ready boy?” Snowe said with a slight smile playing at his lips. He reached down and wrapped his fingers around the black nylon of Lucky’s collar, quickly releasing the leash that tied the poor dog against his will. For a few seconds the dog merely sat on the ground with his head turned as if trying to solve some riddle his owner gave him. After a brief eternity of seconds the dog blinked and looked towards the open expanse that Lucky was slowly beginning to realize was his freedom. In those few moments of epiphany the playful dog sprinted like a bolt of lightning being leased from Zeus’ hand. Snowe gave a mental count to three with a childish grin as he prepared for the chase. With one deep inhaled breath of air, Snowe took off in a race for the dog. The game was something familiar to the two, and while it started off as Snowe chasing Lucky, it always became a quick tag match of Oh he’s chasing me, no I’m chasing him, he’s chasing me… The two were certainly a pair to see, and truly a match divined by some higher power, for they could always find the simplest ways to entertain each other. To the surprise of Snowe however, this game never shifted back and forth as it always had. It would seem that Shadow had a different desire this time, and he was on a mission. The boy had to nearly sprint to keep up with the dog, though in time he knew that Lucky would wear out before him. “Where do you think your going boy?” the question rolled around in his mind for a while before caught the scent of salt. “The beach? I just hope you don’t cause trouble boy…” a small bit of worry began to eat at the back of his mind, what if Lucky used someone as a stepping stool? That would be a hard one to explain… Snowe picked up his pace, lengthening his stride with each foot striking the ground harder and harder. He could see Shadows seeping energy as his movements slowly became lethargic. The dog made it into the soft sand of the beach but luckily no one was near by for him to terrorize, if those were his motives. The gap closed between Snowe and Lucky rapidly and Snowe leaped out at the dog with a wide grin splitting his lips. The boy wrapped his arms around Lucky as he let his weight pass over the dog and to the sand behind him, taking the dog down with him. The two rolled over in the sand and Lucky licked the side of his face before panting heavily. Snowe laughed at the dog as he pulled him into his chest to keep the dog from licking him more. “No trouble making, okay buddy?” the words were a mock tease from the boy, and the dog gave a slight whimper to follow the act.

TristⒶn Boyé "Anarchists are opposed to violence; everyone knows that. The main plank of anarchism is the removal of violence from human relations. It is life based on freedom of the individual, without the intervention of the gendarme. For this reason we are the enemies of capitalism which depends on the protection of the gendarme to oblige workers to allow themselves to be exploited-- or even to remain idle and go hungry when it is not in the interest of the bosses to exploit them. We are therefore enemies of the State which is the coercive violent organization of society." --Errico Malatesta Tristan was impressed at the speed and competitive nature of the girls, many women just ignored the game. As much as he didn't like these women, just out of protective nature, he was glad to be up against someone that could be a real challenge. He quickly went down for a dig!Micah Boyé "When I listen to love, I am listening to my true nature. When I express love, I am expressing my true nature. All of us love. All of us do it more and more perfectly. The past has brought us both ashes and diamonds. In the present we find the flowers of what we've planted and the seeds of what we are becoming. I plant the seeds of love in my heart. I plant the seeds of love in the hearts of others." -- Julia CameronMicah was mesmerized by the sight of the women's breasts, he stared as the girl whom was a tease to him had jumped. He held back urge, just enough to finally realize what was happening. He saw the ball fly up from his father's dig and went down low for a pass to the other side, hoping to score a point for his team. Due to his overall lack of thought the ball shot over the scoring zone of the women and gave the girls their first point. "Well ********>

The Reality ◑ The Delusion - - - - - With Emery's magnificent ability to keep attention to any small thing and be able to think on it for as long as needed to figure it out, she was with an elephant one moment and sitting in the sand the next. She forgot why she had gone to talk to the elephant by the time it was poking her and she had caught glimpse of people making mounds of sand into things. It looked like fun, so Emery hadn't stuck around in the none fun area with the elephant. Scoops of sand sloppily slapped and dragged onto the pile she was forming, Emery was well on the way to a kindergarteners grade A work during art time. In no time, Emery had a work of art. Sand piled on sand, she had created what looked to Emery as the head of an Elephant – that's been beaten in with a sledge hammer and ears lopped off. Emery frowned. Who said that? Her elephant didn't look anything like that. She looked at it again. Maybe it needed a touch up? Rising to her feet and patting the sand off her bottom, her always dazed eyes scanning the beach for something to pretty up her work. What Emery collected was some dried seaweed scurrying with beach bugs that fled their once crinkly home, putting it nicely on top for hair, and cracked or sorta full sea shells to dazzle. Her grizzly worked looked back at her with broken sea shell eyes and bug infested green hair – it was beautiful.
But, something was missing.. It upset her, it really did. Then, there it was, like the dawning of the sun! With slobbery jaws and paws digging at the sandy earth with every stride, it was perfect! That dog had what Emery needed, fur for a mustache! Grinning as the idea came as genius to her, she jogged in the direction of the dog and – a man? Standing curiously, she fiddled with her fingers as the man had claimed the dog first before her.. She saw it first, it's no fair that he was faster! Biting back on her lip, she proclaimed her frustration with a simple, ”That's my dog.” and stared at him with a challenging gaze, as much of a challenge as a girl her height and size could do to a man of his stature. xxxxxxSnowe looked around the beach, noticing more sandcastles than he could count. “See Boy, if you were to step on one of those, well you might have crushed some child’s dreams.” A more serious tone flew beneath his breath as he stared into the dog's eyes. After looking at the dog and receiving a stare of bewilderment on the dogs face Snowe added “Guess it can’t be helped can it.” a slight sigh followed with the same smirk he always seemed to wear. Snowe finally took a moment to stand, Lucky ever present by his side. “Well boy, what drove you here?” Snowe asked looking down at the dog who now sat pristine next to him, as if the dog never had a care to move away. “Oh, so now you’re still.” the words came as he arched an eyebrow at his companion. Lucky looked up at Snowe with the puppy-like eyes that seemed to say “What are you talking about?” ~ if dogs could talk. Snowe rolled his eyes at the silly dog and then began to scan around the area.
xxxxxxWhile looking towards the ocean, wondering if Shadow fancied a swim, he heard a voice proclaim “That’s my dog.” The sentiment caught him off guard and he shifted his gaze towards a - girl. The meaning set into him, this girl was actually trying to claim his dog. Snowe gave out a little chuckle as he looked towards Lucky “You’ve left me already? We’re barely here for a day and you’re looking for a new owner.” The poor dog was confused by the tone of Snowe, and decided it best to slink away behind the boy. His smile grew as he said “Lucky I’m kidding, silly dog. I’m sorry, but I think you’re mistaken. You see we just moved here, so I don’t think Shadow, here is your dog. Is yours lost? I’d be more than happy to help you look for him if you‘d like.” Snowe gave an honest smile trying to offer his services to the little girl. Lucky, however, refused to come out from behind the boy and instead offered a little whimper of protest. “Hey, no need to be afraid boy. Don’t you usually jump on every stranger you meet?” Snowe commented while looking down towards the cowering dog. “What’s wrong with you boy?” Snowe persisted as the dog refused to lighten up
