About half an hour later, Malodore exited the shed - but not via spring-loaded trap door, odd rattling laundry chute, or screaming with crabgrass-seeds hanging from its extremities. Instead, the plague doctor had an odd expression on its face (inasmuch as its beak could be expressive), and it was slightly hunched over something hidden in its coat.

It patted at the odd protuberance once or twice as it headed up the path away from the shed - and was followed, after a moment, by a thoroughly perplexed Scrags-rat. What on earth had happened...?

All Parassiti knew, as she clambered back into Malodore's dorm by way of a drainpipe, was that her master had a new lantern on its shelf, and that it kept looking at it and...

... Parassiti was jealous.

Nuk was feeling pretty shitty. Hells bells was he feeling shitty. He didn't even know why he felt this way either - there was nothing in his life at the moment that was giving him hell -- in fact, things were going great. He's saved Shehk from the OTHER bathroom, he'd gotten a kiss when he'd been running for student council, he got elected as Public Relations representative meaning he got a date AND another kiss from Shehk, he and Grier were setting up the Bloodball team while he and Trist were working on the Apocalytes... everything was going RIGHT.

So why did he feel so AWFUL. Hells bells, he felt like if he didn't kick a door in he might explode.

So.... that's what he'd decided to do.

It seemed like kicking down the door was all fate had decided to let him do. You know, just because it clearly didn't want him to explode, but definitely still wanted to torture him. Because with that first step into the shed, a sack of killer seeds decided they were VERY unhappy with him, chasing him back out of the shed and all the way back to the dorm.

Nuk was not having a happy day.

Luck had been on Sammy's side, she recently won the first round of the battle of the bands and she felt like she had a chance, a chance to ride this victory all the way to the pumpkin seed bank. So after waiting a good while for all the other students to turn in she made her way to the shed determined to sneak her way inside and this time; avoid the crabgrass.

This of course was not meant to be as once again it seemed like an army of seeds were simply waiting by the door tonight to drive out whoever dared to enter.

Sammy concluded that Crabgrass seeds indeed deserved no place in Halloween Town's seed currency system.

Julian made his way to the shed again, all the while wondering if it was really a good idea to be even trying this again. But Sin had said it was like a test of his abilities, or whatever, so he randomly decided to try again. Only fate would tell if trying by himself was a bad plan or not.

61-70- You dodged the other way from the trap door, you didn't end up in the gardening equipment, instead you seem to have found a... laundry chute? You slide down the rusty metal rattle trap and find yourself outside in a wheelbarrow with some dirty socks and a boot that needs resoled.... and one red bra with a gold-orange feather sticking to it. (wat?)

Once again, the demon made it past the crab grass seed and the tree and the plant from before (Though he gave it a stern glare as he passed it) and the spring trap that had gotten Sin thrown out on top of him the last time. He shied away from the gardening equipment, but as he did so, tripped and fell into a shoot.

He rolled several times before landing unceremoniously in a wheelbarrow among dirty laundry. He blinked at the bra and the feather, wondering where those might have come from, but decided not to tempt fate any more than he had by sticking around. Battered and bruised, the young demon heaved himself out of the barrow, took off at a run, then launched himself into the sky, heading towards his room.

Morton was curious.

He'd seen the shed from afar one-too-many times, and the more he saw it, the more curiosity tugged at him to go take a peek at it. Initially, it had just been a peek, but granted, as soon as he'd reached the shed, the gargoyle's curiosity had reached it's climax and there was practically nothing he could do to keep himself from shoving at the door.

Repercussions be damned.

Goddamn those stupid, stupid dogs!

He'd been so near victory he'd almost been able to smell it! Morton had actually managed to make it past the various traps and tricks he'd found (albeit with difficulty, granted). There stood a door, at the back of the first area of the shed; he hadn't even been able to see it initially from where he'd started off at.

His hand had stretched out, ready to grip the handle when the faint growling had startled the gargoyle. He'd swiftly retracted his hand, almost as if the handle had burned him, and he turned around to see the faintly glowing eyes in the darkness. Some sort of primal instinct told him he probably didn't want to mess with those dogs, so he'd done the only other thing he could think of; he'd run. Shamelessly. With the dogs hot on his trail for quite a long stretch of ground, till he'd realized he should probably fly away, rather than run away. He'd later come to realize that it'd probably been thanks to his wings that he'd been kept out of harm's way.

Junko had heard so much about this shed, it had been mentioned by students in the halls and around campus who had braved it. There were many different theories and stories and people claiming they experienced this or that, and admittedly it made her extremely curious. So curious that even Her interest her been perked and She had encouraged it, egged the girl on to give it a go. Despite her better judgement Junko had donned her most 'stealthy' outfit, one very similar to that of...a ninja? Yes, she made herself a ninja's garb just for this expedition. She even put her hair up in a tight bun and held it down with a bandanna. If she could just get past the door then how hard could it be once inside?

Damn, this place gave her the creeps.

Once more into the fray! Igneous tucked her wings in tight against her and made sure there were no trailing ends to her dress. She took a deep breath and headed into the shed.
Maybe this time the shovel wouldn't attack her!

71-89 - Somehow you've made it nearly to the door at the back of the first area of the shed. You couldn't even see it from the front of the shed...you can hear a faint growling just behind you though, from the darkness you see a mist creeping across the floor and 3 pair of bright green eyes light up the darkness like will-o-wisps. Breck's hounds are back - you make a hasty exit before you're caught with the hounds hot on your heels.

This wasn't so bad! Junko had made it past all the traps, dodged the angry plants, had managed not to crash into anything and now she was so far into the shed she was beginning to think everyone had been lying. This wasn't so bad! Suddenly a door appeared in front of her and she skid to a stop. "Mistress! Look!" She whispered excitedly, pointing at the door. "I bet no one else has made it this far! Let's try i--" Suddenly there came a growl, then another, and then another. Junko froze, her eyes wide and focused on the door in front of her; she dared not move. The growling got louder and she slowly turned her head to see the glowing green eyes.

Oh Jack!

Junko gasped and cried with fear, bolting around and past them as quickly as she could. Runrunrunrun! She didn't want to get attacked and caught! Nono! Stupid dogs!

Plink. Plink.

What in the name of Jack? Iggy looked down, trying to see what was making that sound.

Plink. Plink plink plink.

Seeds? There were seeds throwing themselves at her? Why would they do that! As she watched one caught on her dress and began chewing on it!
What!

Plink plink plink plink plink plink plink plink plink plink plink

More and more seeds throwing themselves at her. The ones that hit her skin bounced off but the ones on her clothing were starting to cause some serious damage!

She had to get out of here before they left her with nothing but rags!

Amrita was generally NOT the get-out-and-go type. If anything, she was a hermit. Scared to do anything but study. However lately, she had been testing herself...though half of it hadn't been her actively seeking it. Due to somewhat of a misunderstanding she ended up in the Battle of the Bands - they lost of course, but it was such a close battle! It was something so different, and after getting over the rigor she felt amazing.

So it was time to test her luck again, to step outside of her norm (on her own this time!), and to try the greatest challenge she could think of: The Shed. It was through word of mouth she even heard about the shed, but really...how bad could it be?

The crab grass seeds didn't bother her at all, the trees kept the roots to themselves; she didn't really take notice of the interesting plants and after tripping over her own feet missed the trap door, the equipment rack AND the laundry chute. It was a miracle, as she also stayed standing! She was so very used to tripping and ending up on the ground, this was a huge and pleasant surprise!

But it was her tripping that was her undoing. The noise she accidentally made alerted creatures that...shouldn't be alerted. Her gray eye went wide when she head the growling, frantically looking around. Oh candlejack! This was bad! Bad bad bad!

Squeaking to herself she rushed back out as fast as he could, stumbling over this and that, stubbing her heels on other things. It was brutal, it was anything but graceful, but she managed to escape, heading back to her quiet, safe - and was 'quiet' mentioned? - dorm room.
