Mala had yet to jump, so she decided to cast a spell of levetation over Riley. If she succeeded, he wouldn't have much of a problem. If she didn't, however, things would be a bit more complicated. Afterwards, she headed for the next rooftop as well. Once she caught up to Van she said, "'Tis a shame. At least we have something in common now." with a slight smirk. After this she continued onward, heading for the forest that held her friend's home.

"Actually Van's cut back on the stealing. He only does it if we really need to or it's from bandits or some such." Riley said with a smile as his sister helped him float along.
"Well, I figured you'd try to kill me if I got the kid in trouble..." Van said, trying to defend his tough guy manhood as usual.

Mala chuckled softly to herself as she said, "You've become such a gentleman, Van." Her words were both a compliment and intended to tease, so she wasn't sure how Van would respond to it. She was quick in getting the group to the edge of the city and into the treetops. Thankfully, they were around the edge of the city to begin with. Now, she was heading for the back entrance of Ceri's home.

"I told you two years ago, you two are a bad influence on me." Van said, still trying to act like Mr. Tough Guy as he hopped off the last rooftop down onto the ground.

Rincewind ducked under the table as he heard footsteps.

"I know I am; still, it's rather flattering that a god such as yourself would change for a mortal like myself." Mala said, grinning at Van before she knocked on the back door. "Hey, it's Mala. Nobody's here aside from Riley, Van, and myself...so can you let us in?"

Rincewind sighed in relief, and moved from under the table. "Oh, thank the Heav-- thank the Spi--" Rincewing wanted to make a reference to a deity or deitys, but couldn't. "It's not going to be easy being possessed by a demon."

Having visited before, Mala was able to easilly slip on in with Riley and Van in tow. "Nevermind, I just remembered how to get in!" she said, laughing to herself as she headed towards the living room.

"H-hello, Miss Mala." Rincewind said, almost too scared from the events of the past day to speak, and it wasn't even noon! What a day, indeed.

"Hello to you too, Mr. Rincewind." Mala said, keeping her broad smile. She had overheard Ceri saying his name, which was the only reason why she had come to know it. "By the way, are you okay? Also, is the demon inside you not all that powerful? As I recall, when my brother was possessed he couldn't quite control his body."

"Understatement of the century on that one."
"You're not gonna let that go, are you?"

"Don't worry, I won't cause any trouble." Vilrath said. "Nice breasts, by the way." "I-I'm sorry, he's just a bit... well, a bit of an a**."

"What? I was simply making a comparison! It's not like I'm still mad about the whole 'you possessing Riley' thing!" Mala said, rolling her eyes. "I got you out, you didn't act like an a** about it, and that's pretty much all that matters."
After what the demon said, however, she grinned. "Oh, I don't mind hearing that!" she said with a chuckle. As Van and Riley might remember, she was very self-concious about her bust-size.

"Th-thank you for not being so judgmental." Rincewind responded. "I'm not sure how to properly thank you both for saving me."

"You're welcome." Mala said. "I'll help you get that demon out of your body somehow if you'd like. I got Van here out of what would have been his human vessal, so I should be able to do the same after a little improvement in my magical stamina."
