 ~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Kumogakure ~ Genin ~ Bukijutsu ~ Continuing to eat, Suzume glanced up now and then as they spoke. She had not caught the fear in Sypher's eyes, although Insight Rain was always in use. If the red head felt anything funny such as a change in intent then she would notice.
It was sad to hear that he was going blind in one eye. Yet it was not the end of the world, not in the least. Suzume had once heard of a blind samurai that always managed to defeat his enemies. With just one eye blind, Sypher would just have to be more aware of happening on that side. When he mentioned teaching her to summon, Suzume looked over to him and listened to what he had to say. "I see... then I'll go there as soon as I can." replied the red head, finished with one pork bun and moving to pull a second one from the back in her other hand.
"There are no limits. Only plateaus, and one must not stay there, you must go beyond them.”

 "Stupid old man, telling me what to do. I should report him to pops. Then we'll see who'll be bossing who around." A single toad, much bigger than a normal toad however, hopped along a trail, headed towards the Cloud Food place. He was given a mission to accomplish for his master, Apollo Hyuuga. "S'cuse me, comin through, move it lady." He continued forward through the various people, some annoyed by the toads demeanor. "Watch where your going frog!" "Frog?! I'm a TOAD! TOAD!!! Get it through your head fool. Gosh, no respect at all from these people." Gamakichi continued forward til his eyes came to the Raikage and Sypher. "Ah, here we are. You are Kinpaku, the Raikage? Well I am Gamakichi and I have come on behalf of the ol- err, I mean Apollo, asking if Sypher, that'd be that guy over yonder, can accompany him on the mission issued not too long ago. He is sorry that he could not come himself, but was in the midst of preparing."

xxxxKinpaku Isshinxxxx  Genetic blindness, was it? That was such a shame, considering the honor that Sypher carried with him. The first of the village to be raised to chunnin by the choice of the council. That one had been quite the escapade however, not a single failure in the bunch, and some advanced even to jounin. "If your time as a fighter is up, then we'll just have to find a new purpose for you, won't we?" smiled the Raikage, as she turned to Suzume. So it appeared Sypher was on the move to expand his summoning followers? "I hear you have to be careful in your selection, if you aren't head of the summoning faction, so that you don't get something that wouldn't fail your combat style. That pact makes things difficult."
That was the end of her opportunities in this case, as another voice piped up. The voice of someone else was approaching, berating all around it, it seemed. Then came the toad, hopping toward her. "It is a pleasure, Gamakichi. Make sure he's aware of the revisions, to ensure the safety of the chunnin, and to ensure they won't be aware of his, or his squad's, presence. Inform him that he'll have an addition." It seemed that his full mission details hadn't been relayed. "Suzume Kinjo, a path to the Isle of Sages is a tad more difficult than you'd think. They won't see genin, but hopefully this mission will go well for you." She turned again, looking over the half-blind Sypher. "You are to take Suzume with on this mission. Experience will do her good.""A mask for every situation..."
"And a performance for every soul."

What I was  BROKENSypher smiled as he saw Gamakichi, recognizing his master's summoning easily. He listened and rubbed his nose slightly when the kage included Suzume in the mission, not having any issue with it "Of course, Kage-dono. I may not be a fighter but I'm not completely useless yet." he said, smiling still "I look forward to having Suzume come along and I'm sure Apollo-sama will feel the same." Sypher tucked his remaining steamed buns under his arm and bowed to the Kage again "If you haven't finished your investigation by the time we return, my offer of assistance still stands. Death is never welcome among comrades..." his voice seemed to darken slightly on the words, a clear emotional reaction that he masked with apparent sadness "Well...I suppose I'll need to track down Apollo-dono. Suzume? Would you like to come as well?" What I became  STRONG ...thanks to you

~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Kumogakure ~ Genin ~ Bukijutsu ~ There was a bit of a commotion in the distance yet Suzume had not paid much mind to it. She figured it was either a rude child or an indignant old man. Although the voice seemed to sound strange if she paid attention to it. Still not paying much mind to it, Suzume instead listened to the Raikage's advice. Admittedly the red head had not done much research on the summons. Yet a gut instinct and her own personal liking had made the decision easy before. She would ask Sypher later on what exactly the birds could do.
Then the strange voice became louder, signaling that the owner was coming nearer to them. Turning her head to look, she saw a strange toad hopping towards them. When it spoke again it was clear that this had to be a summoned animal. It sounded like there was a mission coming up and Suzume had her thoughts on missions that she could take. It seemed that the Raikage had plans for her though. It took her a moment to realize it but the woman had just assigned her on to a mission that this Apollo guy was going on.
There was a slight expression of surprise on her face, eyes widened slightly as she looked to Kinpaku and Sypher. Suzume felt both excited and nervous at the prospect of a mission. It would give her a chance to do something, see outside the village and perhaps fight. Yet as far as fighting went, that was what made her nervous. Suzume had not learned everything she possibly could as a genin and lacking techniques worried her slightly. It was a little hard to read Sypher's intent as he spoke about death among comrades. Something had felt off but Suzume paid it no mind for now.
"Yes. I'd like to come with you Sypher. And thank you for this opportunity Raikage-sama." If the other was sure she could handle this mission then Suzume would come along. Now she just had to figure out what the details of this mission entailed.

Gamakichi looked back and forth between the ninja, listening in on their conversation. They sure were a talkative bunch. "So the girl is tagging along? No problem! Apollo told me to tell you guys to get whatever you might need. This mission might be a long one. After that, meet him at the main gates." With his job done Gamakichi began to hop away, looking from table to table. Before he left his tongue stretched out, grabbing hold of a pork bun sitting on some ladies tray, who shrieked from the Toads movement. "Mmmm.." Greedy little toad he was. After that was done Gamakichi hopped off to tell it's master of the news.

What I was BROKENSypher watched the toad leave and was relived he hadn't learned how to summon them. He apologized to the lady and gave her one of his own buns in replace of the stolen one before turning back to Suzume "I'm always packed so unless you need to pick something up, Suzume-san, we can leave for the gates from here." he said pleasantly, bowing to the Kage. What I became STRONG ...thanks to you

~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Kumogakure ~ Genin ~ Bukijutsu ~ Watching the toad hop away and steal a bun from a lady, Suzume had to shake her head slightly. Well, she definitely was not going to summon toads. One they seemed to be rude and two, she needed something faster and sleeker. Suzume was a swordsman and she was specializing in speed so far. Birds seemed like they would fit but Suzume would still do some research.
At this point, she had finished eating her second pork bun but did not reach for another. Instead, she folded up the top of the back and held it in her left hand. "Uhhh... not at the moment, Sypher-san. I didn't expect to be called on a mission any time soon. I'll go home to pack and then I'll just meet you at the gates?"

What I was BROKENSypher chuckled "Neither do I but I always keep my bags packed." he replied and finished off another bun "Go pack. I'll see you at the gates. Kage-dono." he bowed and then left, jumping to a roof to avoid bumping into people.

~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Kumogakure ~ Genin ~ Bukijutsu ~ Watching the other leave, Suzume turned to Kinpaku and said goodbye. Then she left the area to head home and pack for the mission. After that was finished she would head to the front gates.

What I was BROKENSypher waited for his order to arrive, leaning against the side of the shop, his mind about as blank as it could be. He wasn't really interested in anything going on around him but he was curious about his new student or students if that other boy ever bothered to open up Or indeed show up. a tap on his shoulder got his attention and he accepted the food, paying for it before leaving for the dojo.

[Mission - Help Out The Elderly (Find missing necklace)]
Tenrai approached the old lady, "Hey grandma, what do you need help with?"
he asked. He wanted to finish it as quick as possible, he found this mission quite boring, and it hasn't even started yet.

"Oh deary, I lost my necklace in the crowd and I can't find it anywhere, please find it for me." the old lady said, her hands shaking. "Oh now...if I recall...it's rather small, and it's quite long, and made of beads. Off you go now~."

"Hear that, Suzy?" Tenrai said to Suzume, he assumed she was listening.
"Let's go find us a necklace!" Tenrai started asking around, hoping someone would have seen it.

 ~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Kumogakure ~ Genin ~ Bukijutsu ~ Having gone to the office to get a mission, Suzume followed Tenrai to the shopping district. They met up with the old woman that had lost her necklace and needed their help. She seemed sweet enough and Cloud seemed to like her. The little puppy had bounded up, yapping softly and taking in her scent. "I'd prefer if you didn't call me Suzume please." She did not sound angry or really annoyed, she just did not like the nickname much. "Come on Cloud, let's go find the necklace." If it was around here somewhere then they would find it.
Cloud was sniffing and looking about while Suzume looked and asked people if they saw the lost necklace.Cloud ~ Male Puppy German Shepherd ~ Ninja Dog in training ~ "There are no limits. Only plateaus, and one must not stay there, you must go beyond them.”

"Sure, sure, Whatever." Tenrai went opposite Suzume's direction, he figured splitting up would be faster. Along with asking, he searched every corner and looked at everyone shady looking, the old lady might have been mugged. "I hate these stupid missions, they're just making us do simple crap." Tenrai kicked a pebble on the ground. "But If this is what it takes, I'll deal with it, for now." Tenrai thought to himself. He made sure to ask every store and person he saw.

~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Kumogakure ~ Genin ~ Bukijutsu ~ So far there did not seem to be any sign of the necklace. Tenrai was not giving her a signal and Cloud did not seem to have found anything. Suzume was not worried though and she continued asking around while looking at the same time. These small missions were a little dull but necessary to show she could handle missions.
