"HOW THE HELL DID I END UP HERE?!" Shun skid to a stop, right in front of the hot springs entrance. "Does the shopping district even have a pathway here?! I think I just hacked life! Well....as long as I'm here, I guess I could 'patrol' the hot springs. I need to make sure they're safe, right?" He said mischievously. Somehow, he had managed to trick himself into taking a break at the hot springs. "Oi, owner dude slash dudette or whatever! I'll be making sure your hot springs are safe! Very slowly!" He began to strip while walking toward the springs. "Hey, kid. There are already two ninja in there and one's really powerful. I'm pretty sure it's safe there." The owner said. "They may need backup!" He said in response. Now he was down to his underwear. "Not likely." Shun ripped off his underwear, only to cover himself up with a towel a moment later. "Nonsense! I'm going in." With that, he finished the conversation and ran into the springs.
"BANZAI!" Shun sprinted in and leaped into the nearest hot spring. "HELLO, HOT SPRINGS AND ALL WHO INHABIT...it?" He turned his head and stared at the girl that was in the spring close by. No way! Since when were the hot springs unisex? I thought there was always a wall separating the genders...." He inadvertently continued to stare at the girl while thinking about the wall that wasn't there.

| The Paper Ghost | Shinobi Hunter | Ninjutsu | Genin | Dai jumped as someone shouted from out of nowhere. She didn't look up. Some people where just excited to know hot spiring where near by. Dai looked up as she felt unwanted eyes on her. "Weren't you ever taught that it's impolite to stare at a bathing girl?" She asked abruptly. Her stare a little harsh then normal. "Staring? I'm not st--" Shun refocused his vision and noticed that he happened to be staring at the girl. "...Oops. Well, this is embarrassing...." He blushed and slowly slid into the water, until it just barely touched his nose. "I'm really sorry, ma'm. I was just thinking about something and I guess I spaced out." ...Is what he would have said if his mouth wasn't under water. Instead, what came out was a string of random "blub" sounds.

[☁] [☁] Sypher opened his eyes and glanced over at Dai, frowning a little as he sunk completely under water. He wasn't ready to be civil just yet but the sound of someone screaming made him come back up. His purple hair, usually light, had gone several shades darker and now hung almost to his knees if he'd been standing "...Dai. Get in this hot spring." he said sternly, moving to the side closest to the new guy. He had no reason to think twice about Dai being in the same hot springs as he because...well she knew why "So...Mr.Banzai....is this your first time in a unisex hot springs? If its so very interesting, there are private baths for you." his tone was slightly less cold than Dai's but he was still eying the boy. He recognized him from somewhere. | The Paper Ghost | Shinobi Hunter | Ninjutsu | Genin | Dai gripped her bowl/boat of bathing items and stood gripping her towel close. "Yes, Sypher..." She spoke to him from over her shoulder. She stepped out of the bath. She scars that covered near every inch of her, from shoulders to ankles, glistened in the light. She knew better not to listen to Sypher. She would never think twice of doing so. Dai sat her bath items on the edge and slipped into the same hot spring as Sypher. Not minding it for the same reason he wouldn't mind her being there either. She brushed a lock of her bangs out of her site and looked to the boy again. Shun adjusted himself so that his mouth was out of the water. That way, he could give an actual response to the man with the long hair. "Mr. Ten-thousand years? Well, that's a new nickname. Anyways, yes. It is my first time in a unisex hot springs 'cuz I could have sworn that this place wasn't one."
His gaze shifted ever so slightly as he noticed the girl getting up. "Scars?" He was definitely surprised, but he made sure that his face didn't show it. "She must've had a messed up past or something. Well, whatever. Who am I to judge?" He watched as the girl got into the same hot spring as the man. "So...what're your names? I'm Shun." Grinning at the two of them, he leaned back and tried to appear friendly.

[☁] [☁] Sypher set his arms up on the side, his arms resting on each other. He too was covered in scars, scars thick enough to mar all smooth skin but he was grinning "Shun? I'm Sypher." he said, sounding strangely friendly. He was between Shun and Dai so he was much more comfortable now "This hot springs is half unisex and half private baths. If you 'swore' it wasn't one, that's probably because you've only been to the separate bathes." he brushed his hair back off his face. [☁][[[OoC: ]][☁] There is nothing without...[☁] Life

"Nice to meet you, Sypher and Daitomi." Shun continued to smile at them, for no apparent reason at all. It was just a habit. "I'm sorry for staring at you. I was thinking about something, and I guess I spaced out." This time, it was actually audible, unlike the "blub" sounds he made before.

Dai had been so busy with training and researching; that the days just seemed to mess together. She looked to the water's surface and thought about it. Shrugging it off, Dai returned her attention to Shun and Sypher. "I remember that too. It's hard not too...Ya kinda did shout it to everyone in the Dojo after Kein finished his announcement." "Oh, yeah! And you were that dude! With the face!" Shun honestly didn't remember seeing the man there because of his terrible memory, but he tried his best to pretend that he did. "Err....anyways, yeah. I'm a chuunin. Not a very good one, though." He laughed. "I don't even know where any of my students went! I told them to go do missions a few days ago, but I guess they're just being lazy. And I got tired of waiting, so I decided to do some missions to prove that I'm jounin-worthy." As petty as that sounded, he really wanted to get closer to his goal. A goal that would only be accomplished by becoming a jounin.
"Hehe...yeah...." There wasn't much he could say about his yelling, so he just slid back and waited for a response to the other thing he said. "Maybe I should stop being so loud.....nah."

[☁] [☁] Sypher frowned at Dai and shrugged "I'm just assuming. I don't actually remember. And everyone has a face. Don't try to pretend you remember me." he said, scolding lightly "Its stupid and makes you look foolish." he stretched his arms over his head and surged upward, sitting on the edge of the hot springs. He pulled a towel over to cover himself and began braiding his hair "Jounin worthy, huh...Do you feel jounin worthy? I certainly didn't when I became a jounin. It just kind of happened. I went from chuunin to jounin and from there straight to an onin. The first new onin in a while actually. It was more of a sudden thing than a goal." he said, his eyes on his hair as he braided over and over again "If you feel jounin worthy, maybe the kage will see it. Have you done much lately?" Sypher chuckled over the student part "Hey Dai. When you were my student, how many times did I manage to keep track of you guys between missions and my own trainings? Maybe 30% of the time, yeah?" he grinned at Shun "She even got poisoned under my watch. If you think you're not very good, think again. If they're alive then you're succeeding in your position." | The Paper Ghost | Shinobi Hunter | Ninjutsu | Genin | Dai sat quietly. She rolled her eyes as she watched Sypher braiding his hair over and over again. Failing every time as he attempted to do so. She got out of the bath and sat behind him on her calves. She reached in front of him. Almost looking like she was going to hug him from behind. "Allow me..." She spoke in his ear. She gathered his hair within her fingers and brought it behind him. Dai began braiding while he spoke. When Sypher asked her about his watch over their old team she smiled. "Pfft, I say 15% of the time. You hardly kept watch on us except in spars to make sure we didn't end up in killing each other." Dai spoke as she twisted his hair. She lightly pulled on his hair when he brought up the poison incident. "I prefer to forget about the mission, Sypher. Even if it was my first." She continued to braid his hair. Dai looked at Shun and smiled. "Sypher is right, Shun. As long as your students are alive. You'll succeed in anything." "Hehe...sorry." Shun said, apologizing for his stupidity. "I don't even feel chuunin worthy. In fact, I kinda wish I had stayed a genin to join that hunter team Kein made. Becoming a hunter is the only reason why I'm trying to get to jounin as quickly as possible." He became slightly serious while he said that, but loosened up right after. "Poisoned, eh? One of my students poisoned me once..." He merely laughed, deciding not to elaborate on it.
"Succeed at anything? Well...I hope so." He slid back down, letting the water cover his mouth. "I can't really think of anything to say about that statement, other than 'yeah'. So I'll just stay in the water, being....me."
