Mei was getting so good at hiding from Mao, it was almost frightening. Well, not frightening for her, she was actually quite proud of herself! She always was the first to be found when she and the other company children played hide-and-seek. Hahah! If only they saw her now! This time, she had managed to fit herself into one of the supply cabinets behind the reception desk. They had the storage, but they never used it. So, it had begun with Mei checking to see how big it was, since she was looking for somewhere to fit another filing cabinet... or maybe a place to hide the destroyed remains of that cursed computer. She still didn't trust the thing, and so she made sure to back up everything she put into the computer on paper. Really, there wasn't much of a reason to have a computer, but she was sure that Mao would mock her if she was doing everything by hand, so she made sure to be as discreet as she could be. So she had just been on her hands and knees, measuring tape in hand, trying to measure the dimensions of the cabinet, when she heard Mao coming and panicked. And she had been able to fit! She had lost a bit of weight, so maybe that was why! She was so pleased by herself, and it was so nice and dark in there, she sort of... fell asleep.
Mei awoke to the sound of voices. There were people in the clinic! It took her a moment to guess that they were the relatives of the teenagers who had just been admitted. She avoided the two of them. The girl didn't seem too bad, but she had heard she had gotten in a drug-related knife fight, and the Chinese girl didn't want to associate with those kind of people. And the boy was pretty much just a vegetable. Besides, Mao would get on her case if she was chatting with the patients!
She had no idea what time it was, so she opened the cabinet door slightly to peek out. Ah, it was no use. She couldn't see, the desk was in the way. Quietly, she opened the cabinet door all of the way and crawled out. Her feet had just reached the linoleum when she noticed there was a pair of legs coming from her chair! She was startled, and after remembering that legs didn't just wander around and hang out next to chairs, that they were attached to people, she looked up. There... there was a girl in her chair! Immediately, her mouth fell open and she froze. It had happened! Mao had finally replaced her! She knew this would happen some day, but... she wasn't ready to be unemployed! She didn't have any skills asides from this! Actually, she didn't have any skills at this job, EITHER, but... But she had made it this far! She didn't think it mattered here! Mei could feel herself begin to panic. She was having trouble getting oxygen to her brain. She would have to talk to Mao about this! She didn't want to get fired! She... she... hell, she'd eat every dried lizard he had to give her if he'd let her stay!
As the hyperventilating began to stop, Mei picked herself up from the floor and stared at the back of Milinda's head intently. "Uhm, excuse me..." she began nervously, gripping her skirt tightly. "...That's my desk?" At this point, she couldn't be sure anymore!

When Ellie came into the room, he was happy to see her there and he simply nodded while bitting his upper lip. He had no idea what he was supose to say right now. No, the best was to just leave the clinic for now and catch some sleep. Both teenagers were alive, that was for the best. As for the rest... they were better to catch some sleep before having to deal with it. All that he knew was that the next week wasn't going to be a very fun one. He sigh before putting an arm around Ellie and walking way. Welcome to Nirvani...

Dante walked into the clinic, along with his twin Vladimir. Dante was biting his lip nervously as they approached the check in desk. "Hi.. um.. im Dante Tepes.. and i need to see the doctor.. about something." Dante said embaressed as all hell. And he was trying to refrain from scratching the s**t out of his privates. He couldnt believe himself! He had been so involved with Raiden that night that he had forgotten the condom. And they had both ended up with a nasty case of.. something. Dante was afraid of what it was and he hadnt touched anyone since.. not even Vladimir.

Vladimir wasnt happy, in fact he was a bit jealous and peeved that Dante would fall for a straight guy who had rejected him at first. And now he had contracted an STD of all things! Thankfully though Dante wasnt female, as much as he liked to dress up as one, so Vlad wasnt dealing with the cheating- cheating? Yeah it felt like that to him, of course it would, with how posessive Vladimir was. He didnt think of how that mad him a hypocrite in a many ways.. but then again he didnt stop Dante from seeing Raiden now had he? Not that he entirely approved.. but still....
"Im his brother im here for.. support.." Vladimir said before the person behind the counter even asked.

 _____________Mindy was starting to get a hang of the system already. Typing away at the keyboard or clicking at something. She watched briefly at the movement going on in the hospital and then back to the screen getting started as her first day on the job. She was fully concentrated until a small feminine voice brought her away from the screen. Mindy turned around in the chair to see a cute oriental girl standing and gripping her skirt nervously. Said something about that being her desk. Mindy nodded her head and stood up.
"Sorry. I'm new. I didn't mean to invade your personal work space."
After talking, she realized that it would be nice to smile, so she did. Just in case the girl wouldn't get the wrong impression of her on the first day.
"My name is Milinda Romane. Please, call me Mindy."
She was going to stretch her hand outwards to make a formal greeting until she heard more people come into the hospital. Must be a busy day. A very attractive male, in fact, they were both very attractive and had a dark sensual aura about them to her. They reminded her of dark fantasy romance novels. The one that had very feminine features stated that he needed to see the doctor about something obviously embarrassing. The other family support, a brother.
"Hello. I'm Mindy. I can take you into a room now. Dr. Xiqui is seeing someone at the moment but in the meantime I can help. I won't be the one examining of course. Just doing the basics." Mindy walked out from behind the counter. "Please follow me. Uh. . Can you inform Dr. Xiqui that he has a new patient, please," she asked the girl at the desk while leading the two gentlemen to their room.
Mindy went down a short hallway and stopped to open a door and reveal the oriental decorated patient room. She began to feel a little out of place or as if she had teleported to Asia. She stood at the door and waited for the men to enter before her.

Blue eyes? That intrigue Vlad, a smirk gracing his lips. He and Dante followed after the girl, Vlad slipping his hands into his pockets. She was cute, something about her. Other than the blue eyes. The milky white skin and boyishly cute hair. Such nice curls.. in a messy way. He wondered if they could get messier after a night in his bed?
"Thank you Mindy." Dante said with a smile as he entered the room and sat down on the exam table.
Vladimir stopped in the doorway near the girl. "Yes. Thank you, Mindy. Such a cute name to match a cute girl." Vlad said his grin getting wider. "And such beautiful blue eyes..." Vlad said as he moved his hand from his pocket and brushed the girls bangs from her eyes. "You really shouldnt hide them." Vlad said as his tone lowered to a purr.
"Vladimir Dracul Tepes! Not now!" Dante said wide eyed and furious. How could he think about trying to get in the girls panties! At a time like this! Dante got up and stormed across the room. He grabbed Vlad by his free arm and yanked him into the room. "Flirt later, with the pretty girl! This is important you sex fiend!" Dante yelled at Vlad.

“Mei, I did ask you not to let bums in, didn't I?” He stated irritatedly with a hand waving over the group down the hall. Two men and a woman? Ugh. Unfortunately for Milanda, Mao hadn't paid attention to anyone who answered his job advertisement because, well, he was normally busy doing something or another. No time to focus on something as boring as a new nurse. “What is this? If you're looking for a quick room to screw in, I would have to apologize since both examination rooms are occupied and you won't be getting my staff room.” He informed them with a frown at the tall men. ..He really didn't like being shorter than most, especially when said others were freakishly tall. “Unless any of you three would give me the pleasure of shooting yourselves?” He offered after a second of thought – well, hell, Yoakim and Ellie hadn't done it when he asked! He may as well try again.

Vlad was the first to look at the man who addressed them. Who the ********> "Well.. seeing as we arent here for that. My brother is in need of a doctor to take a look at something. But if that doctor is going to be a little.." Vlad said as he came up to Mao. He towered over the man and smirked. "... p***k to his patients. Then im not sure if we want his help." Vlad said a challenge in his hazel gaze at the man.
"Do you treat everyone that way?" Dante asked in a gentler tone. He looked back to Mindy. Why couldnt she look at his perdicament again? Dante looked back to Mao. What crawled up his a**? Or didnt? "And no we, do need your help. So if you could withhold any hurtful comments that would be appreciated." Dante added with a light glare to the male.

_____________As the one whom had come for help entered the room and thanked her, she gave him a polite smile and a nod. She wondered what it was that he . . or she was having trouble with. It had to be a he. The supporting brother stopped in front of her at the door and all ready she could tell that this wouldn't be easy to deal with. He had complimented her name with a smile that would normally bring girls to be weak in the knees, but Mindy is far too old in her opinion to be easy and has had experience on how to deal with such gentlemen. He then spoke about how pretty her eyes were and used one of his hands to brush her bangs out of her face. Stay cool. Always treat the patients with kindness and with patience. .Well, this was technically the brother. . No, stay cool. She crossed her arms under her chest to hide her hands balling into fists with knuckles whitening. The patient then broke the tension and shouted at his brother right on time to save him and herself. The brother was yanked into the room and and revealed about his sexual identity. Mindy took in a deep breath and checked down the hallway to see if there was any chance the doctor would magically pop out. He did! He didn't look happy either. First time seeing this guy and he was, short. Shorter than she had in mind. She didn't like that with her obvious appearance that he accused her as one of their bimbos.
"Excuse me, doctor. I'm the new transferred nurse from the city. I answered your ad. These two came in looking for you. The one named Dante is in need of medical advise. I thought I would take care of them while you were seeing the other patients. I see you aren't busy anymore. . So. . "

“No, I don't think you would want it and I think he needs my help. None of this 'we' nonsense. Really, if you want to join your brother in his checkup, you only needed to harm yourself somehow. ...Unless,” He studied the man's face in his incessant boredom, “there is something wrong? You know, there could always be some fatal disease festering somewhere in there that you wouldn't ever know about until it's too late. I've heard of hundreds of those cases.. Then there's the fools who put off small coughs, cold sweats, even a small twitch like it's nothing when it really could mean something is wrong. Do you have any of those? Anything you have had since birth could even fit. I don't know if you would want to leave your dear brother alone because of some illness that developed under your nose.” Mao drawled that last word out as he waited for some kind of response to that. There always was something and, really, with as many diseases the public was aware of, it was easy for someone to consider they have something dangerous. Never could be too careful, after all, and Mao always loved having an extra patient~

_____________Her mouth parted in disbelief at this man's rudeness. Her fists began tightening harder as she realized that working there with him would be the biggest pain. It was typical of doctors. Just because they slaved themselves over books and paid more money than she could weave to get that kind of knowledge. He was already trying to push her around and she didn't like it. If she wanted to get fired on her first day, she would have spoke her mind. .
"You right, doctor. Sorry for stepping out of line," she spoke with difficulty.
He seemed to have brushed her off anyways so she returned to the front desk with the other girl. Excuse me from trying to help someone in need when the doctor was not available. . I'll remember that next time when someone comes in dying and you're not available again. . a**. Mindy sighed and unfolded her arms and unclenched her fists. She looked up at the oriental girl trying to find something out of her that would calm her and take her mind off of unpleasant things.
"Is he always like that?"

Mei wasn't sure what to say when the girl stood up and introduced herself. She shouldn't befriend the enemy! This girl was her replacement! From how comfortable she seemed around that computer, she was probably more competent. And she was pretty, too! Of course she was being replaced! She could never hold her own against a girl with blue eyes who could use a computer...!
But before she could say anything, Mindy -- no, Milinda -- took off with the scary looking men who had come in. She was take charge, too! Maybe a little too ambitious, but... She was just about ready to kill herself right there, when Mao came in and started to talk to Mei's replacement. Who wasn't her replacement! Nurse! She was a nurse! Of course she was a nurse! Someone like her wouldn't be a receptionist. No, only someone as talentless as Mei would be able to be a receptionist~ She felt a little stupid for jumping to conclusions like.
Mei wasn't sure how to answer Mindy's question. Yes, she would agree, but Mao would hear her and... "Yes, that is Ma- Err, Doctor Mao..." she replied vaguely, correcting herself. She had only really spoken to herself about Mao these past few seasons, so she had to remember to be polite! "Uhm, I'm Mei, the receptionist..." she introduced herself, staring at Mindy. This was the new nurse! Not her replacement, but a buffer! Without thinking, she stepped forward and hugged the girl tightly, just from the pure relief of it all. Never leave, Mindy!

Mindy and Mei were hugging! Without her! A group hug!? Was she not apart of the happy clinic family?! Well, she lived here to some extent.. so that means she's basically an employee. Only instead of being paid, she's stealing their medicine and selling it to bums! "Why aren't you introducing me?!" Jillian asked, as she creepily came out from behind of Mei's desk. She couldn't eavesdrop very well from the lobby, so she had to hide down there! "I thought we were friends, you b***h!" Close enough to friends! Close enough! If they were any closer, Paprika might just start collecting her hair and sniffing her dirty clothes. Because, that's what friends do! "Hello! I'm Paprika Habanero! Well, today I'm Sgt. Bonesteel, but you can call me Paprika." It really depends on the wig. "Mei is gay you see, so if you want to lez out, she's probably easy." Five dolla.
Paprika quickly moved behind Mei, and groped her. "Te gusta, Milinda?" Its not like they can do much to her, she's already being held in the clinic by the police, what more can they do? Build a robot to fight her own robot in a clash between robots? Like Battlebots, only cooler because her robot has a chainsaw arm?! ******** yeah, robot battles!

_____________Mindy nodded her head and leaned against the counter when Mei had told her something she already knew. The young woman introduced herself to her as Mei the receptionist. Well that would explain the database and working system on the computer.
"Nice to meet you-"
She was cut off when the girl stepped forward and quickly hugged her with a firm grasp. Mindy had her elbows out and hands raised in surprise. She wasn't used to this kind of treatment in work and it made her a little uncomfortable.
"U-uhh. ."
She then heard another female voice and as she looked over, there was another girl with crazy fashion taste. Apparently she knew Mei very well to call her something foul and not be upset about it. Her name was Paprika and had so kindly informed her that Mei is a lesbian. Mindy's eyes rose at this bit of news. Her hands started to gently pat Mei off and out of hugging position and freed herself. She then watched as Paprika wandered behind Mei and began to play with the girl. Mindy quickly averted her eyes as her cheek began to feel hot and blush.
"I really don't think this is work appropriate. ."

It had started off as just a friendly (and grateful!) hug between two soon-to-be friends, right? Mei could just see it now, board games in the staff room, take-out lunches together, the occasional sleepover! You know, like when Lesley was there! Because even though she hadn't shown it, Mei had been pretty lonely since her only friend moved away. And in the background of all of these scenarios? There was Mao, ignoring the two of them. Oh, life would be so wonderful from now on!
But of course, she had forgotten about Paprika. She wasn't sure what to do (Paprika scared her a little bit) and when the younger girl snuck up and grabbed her, she stiffened instantly. Slowly, as time progressed, her face grew redder and redder. By the time Milinda moved away, her face was practically steaming! Worst of all, thanks to Paprika, her new friend had misunderstood! "This isn't appropriate at all!" she replied weakly, as if on the verge of tears. "Uhm, please let go, Paprika," she pleaded gently before prying her hands off of her. Mei shifted uncomfortably where she was standing, tucking her hair behind her burning ears. "Yes, this is Paprika. She's crazy," she added, leaning in slightly. As if that would make it impossible for Paprika to hear...!

"Well of course it's not appropriate!" Paprika responded happily. "I would hate to know of the place were taking the Chinese girl to the backroom to gang rape her would be considered work appropriate." Paprika commented, as she was making no effort in releasing Mei.. that is, until Mei pryed her hands off her. The young girl crossed her arms, and pouted. Why did Mei not enjoy her groping?! Chinese girls love random acts of sexual harassment! Or was that the Japanese? She didn't know, they both looked alike to her. "You suuuck!" She whined. It's not like Mei and her can't be friends! Mei's a lesbian! That means she's friendly (or is that the gays?)! "It's because I'm not as tall as my lesbian sister, isn't it?! That's why we can't be friends?! You know how much I workout to try to impress you?!" She sniffled, really she was just making stuff up as she went along. Not like she didn't want a compliment about how fit she's been getting lately. With everyone (clearly) getting their drugs from other people, she can't be here trusting people to not try to kill her with a knife. "But nooo! Never appreciate Paprika wanting to be your friend!"
By now, she was rambling to herself while walking to the door. "It's not even because I'm black, because you're Chinese! Asian bitches love the blacks you see!" Tiger Woods must exist for a reason. "But fine! Have fun without, meeee~!" She sobbed, and ran out the front door dramatically. She'll be back. She's always back. /Exit Jillian.
