The bowl of ramen would normally have gotten up and around, but the gracefullness of the dancer, mixed with the reminding of a lion trainer, the bowl was starting to be succumbed and was getting pushed into a corner.
Aika would push the bowl back until the table was flush with the wall on both sides, hemming it in before speaking to it. " There, I've caught you. Now are you going to give me more problems or are we gonna have to feed you to a cat?" She still looked a bit frustrated but spoke in soft tones trying to get hold of the situation.

The bowl of noodles shook itself around, almost spilling some of the broth.
"Nonononono...you win! No cat for me."
And like that, the bowl of ramen seemed to go back to normal. for how long...this was unknwon....
Aika took a look around the room and with the mop that was being previously used as a bludgeon she started cleaning up small pools of broth and the various messes that the rogue bowl had made. She didnt want to be on bad terms with people this early in her career. As for the bowl, she left it in its makeshift prison until she would be ready to leave, keeping an eye on it for movement. She looked completely paranoid now and was considering burning a kai to see if she was hallucinating this entire thing. After cleaning up the place she accepted her scrolls and nabbed the ramenbowl to take to san, heading toward the university.
Ichi was actually really stoked to finally be a Ninja, he didn't think he would ever get an opportunity like this. At least not a legitimate opportunity. His clan-cousin, Mika, the current clan heads daughter was going to stay with him another few years before she chose a village to go to. He was happy to be ahead of her for once.
As the young Yoshimitsu entered the library he was amazed at the interior, even more then he had been at the exterior, it was quite possibly the most amount of books and scrolls that he had seen in his life, and quite possibly wouldn't see anywhere else.. He had to shake his head to remember that he was here for a reason not to gawk.
He made his way to the section where Techniques were kept so that Genin and many other ninja could easily get to them, though the more advanced and dangerous techniques were far beyond his reasoning at the moment. It was good that they were out of the inexperienced ninja's hands. He had to decide though what he wanted to train first though, his Martial skill or train up with his Ninjutsu. He remembered though that The Clan Head had told him that he would make a great ninja, but he had to calm himself first, he was too distracted and sometimes was way to excitable for his own good.
Remembering those words he looked at the Taijutsu section remembering that some techniques held knowledge of such things. He popped out scroll after scroll researching on the techniques that would best suit him. However for the moment none stuck.

After an hour of looking at basic technique scrolls the young Yoshimitsu came upon one called Hsing-I Pakua: A history. He started to read up on this particular Taijutsu style and started to like it right away. Created by monk's far to the north this style was one that called for a unification of body and spirit. The very thing that he was looking for when it came to his physical training.
He pulled the scroll out and slowly made his way back to the entrance, being sure to check in with the older woman that was a librarian there. He went through the motions of checking out the scroll and finally left the Library. He was excited and wanted to see what the scroll could do for him.

Theodin walked through the library doors, tilting his head and tapping his headband to identify himself as a jounin of suna as he walked up to the third floor. He wandered through the rows of scrolls and books, grabbing a couple on covert operations, non-chakra based interrogation techniques, and shinobi military tactics. Walking back down to the first floor, the young jounin looked around and found a couple more small books on battle tactics and strategy, ranging from one-on-one combat to full-scale warfare. He also grabbed a book on tracking and hunting, as well as wilderness survival techniques. Finally before he left the library, he found a couple books on chemistry and physics, along with introductory books in biology and psychology. He then fit the stack of books into his pack and left the library to go read at the academy.

The Sky Sand Protective Wall split above the library and down came a mortar, which detonated spectacularly and showered the area with senbon bombs. The library would soon be engulfed in fire. the librarian and a few ANBU did their best to mitigate the damage, but if no help arrived soon, the library would be lost completely.
No... not the library! Source of all magical wonders and delights of the fictional and non-fictional kind! Setting Kanpai down on the open-top canal, she aimed him towards the fire-y-est side. Soon, he'd have enough pressure to blast out water like a firefighter's hose, which left Mononoke to her own devices. Running up towards a water gathering intersection spot, she pick up a few buckets and headed down a parallel canal. Taking her place at the opposite side of the library, she'd begin tossing bucketfuls of water. If someone cried out for help, she'd drop her buckets to go to the rescue. Gotta have a superhero do her duty, after all!

Kanpai was running out of fire on his side of the library, which Mononoke discovered when she peeked around her side to check up on him. Placing the bucket down, she ran up to the intersection and then back down the other side to Kanpai. Picking him up, she traced out the same steps back to her previous location, and set him down there, to work on this side. Glancing around, she found her bucket, and additionally found a random squad of Anbu gliding by on their way to some place. Concern for the more immediate problem meant that the previously held bucket was now not near her, but in the middle of the Anbu, having been thrown with her great strength.
Hopping down to their level as they stopped and glanced at the very ordinary aluminum bucket, she pointed at the bucket, then at the canal overhead, and then to the library, before crossing her arms. Half of the group motioned for the other half to go on ahead, which left two to help deal with the fires. Turning around to look at the library, Mononoke was in time to see the Anbu's combined Suiton techniques rain with concentration. Surely this would be enough to extinguish the remaining fire within the house of knowledge.
The place was as desolate as the fountain square had been only a few workers remained in the building. The first two floors were filled with scorch marks and as such reminded Hikari of the dangers of war. Somewhat disappointed though strangely satisfied in finding nothing, she made her way to the next destination. [Mission - Patrol the village! [Library]]

entering the library, Theodin looked around at the books on the first floor, finding a few on the history of the ninja world and grabbing them to start reading. As he read through the books, he found the chapters early on about the achievements of the Rikudo Sennin most interesting, and decided to find stuff focusing on the old sage's life. As he read more, he realized that while the old sage was an extremely powerful warrior, his primary goal was to bring peace and understanding to the world. At first, Theo simply chuckled at that, "No way true peace could exist among shinobi..." He muttered to himself.
As he kept reading, Theodin couldn't help but keep thinking about the main goal of the Rikudo Sennin, still thinking it was impossible, but then his mind drifted to thoughts of his two young children; and though he had just learned of their existence maybe an hour or two earlier, he wanted nothing more than to keep them safe, to make the world a safer place for them if he could. It was then that he realized that the Sennin's goal was worth attempting, whether it could actually be done, or would last, was irrelevant. As the young jounin and new father continued reading, he realized that nowhere in the books did the Sennin ever get associated with ninjutsu, though he was considered its creator, instead he saw a word "Ninshuu..." He mouthed as he read over it.
Thinking, Theo went through the shelves of the library, hoping any books in Ninshuu hadn't been destroyed during the attack on the village, then let out a slight sigh of relief when he found an old scroll on the philosophy. Unfurling it carefully, he read through the tenets of it: chakra was a way to connect the spirits of people together to increase their understanding of themselves and others and allow them to pray for each other's safety. He then saw how it had been twisted into the ninjutsu he had always used in combat. Setting his mind, Theo returned the scrolls and books to their original places on the shelves and left the library to think and meditate on what he had learned. (Exit)

Shambling in off the streets like the bored teenager she appeared to be, Bast quickly found a nice, quiet spot in the corner of the library and reverse-summoned her winnings from the string-pulling contest back to her house. It had been quite a while since she had needed to check out any scrolls for learning, and it honestly made her feel like a kid again. After a short while, Mononoke, the Princess, and a few of her hoatzin golems showed up to finish the few repairs that the building needed, and at the same time brought her a couple of bags to carry her chosen scrolls in. As soon as that was done, the woman headed into the belly of the library, plucking a great deal of scrolls from the shelves alongside a few reference books. She quickly checked them out, then headed to the academy to train for the first time in what had probably been several years.

While wandering the Village looking for places where survivors of the attack might have congregated, Bast spotted the damaged--but still standing--edifice of the library. Her current task was locating and directing any survivors toward the hospital for treatment. Any building still standing was likely to have someone in it, so she decided to poke her head in.
The front door swung open with a heavy creak, revealing a lobby that had seen better days. Sand covered the floor. As Bast walked into the room, a crunching sound under her geta let her know of the glass shards hiding under the sand. She looked upward and, sure enough, the stained glass skylight had fallen out. She quickly and carefully treaded over the shards and fetched a broom and bucket from a supply closet. A few minutes later, she had swept up the glass and chased much of the sand out into the street.
After strolling around the library for a few minutes, all the while picking up the few tomes that had fallen to the floor, she heard a few sniffles coming from behind an overturned table. She was still on the ground floor, so that meant the origin of the noise was probably a civilian of some sort. She approached with caution, and found a couple of children huddling around their parents, who were looking a bit worse for wear but not in a life-threatening condition.
"Are you okay?" she asked the family. The children recoiled, but their mother shushed them.
"Calm down, kids, that's Community-Minded Woman," she reassured them before turning to Bast. "Tell me, where do we need to go? Is the fighting over? Can we go home?"
"We'll need to get you checked out by a medic before I can say anything certain," Bast responded. When the kids looked worried again, she gave them a thumbs-up and said: "Thanks for being so good all this time! Stay with your parents and everything will be okay."
The family filed out of the library and followed a Bast clone toward the hospital.
