"That's it, were getting out now!" and Jim revved the engine, swiftly changed the gears and drove onto the baron road, "Alright, here's what were gonna do, were gonna head for that chopper, hitch a ride and get to the others, just hang tight, we'll get there." Jim assured to his gravely ill partner.

Nix nodded and reached back taking out her case that had the liquid that would slow down the process in. She injected some in her arm but felt a little change. "This should help only a little...but we do have to hurry...i think the blue one is a lot worse then what the orange one did.." Nix shut her eyes that were now blood red.

As the two raced down the city, Jim spotted the platform that was occupied by the helicopter, only problem was, it was on the roof of a building, that scaled heights too high, "That is our only way out of here," and Jim looked at Nix, her silver eyes were now a maroon red, and her skin was turning slightly pale, " I have not come this far, to die now, or let my friends die now, and got out of the car and picked Nix up in his arms, and broke into a dash.

Nix kept her eyes closed and was limp in his arms.

Luckily for them, there weren't very many zombies at all, as it appeared that the place was removed of both humans and zombies. "C'mon, were almost there, just a little longer."

Nix felt a burning sensation on her arm as the black splotch slowly began to spread.

The two managed to scale the stairwell up to the roof, and their lied the escape vehicle, "there it is, wait... oh crud!" Jim exclaimed as he noticed the black color on Nix's arm spread, "Nix, your not going to die, NOT TODAY!" and Jim fastened her into a chair and took the pilot seat. "C'mon, please work!" and to his luck, it was still operational, and began to ascend into the air.

Nix sat there her head nodding to the right...to the left...forward and back.

Charlotte kept watch from the otherside of the city, and spotted the helicopter from afar with her binoculars, "Here they come, they found it!" she shouted in raised spirits.

Leonardo turned around and sighed a sigh of relief. "Great...im glad they lived." Little did he know what Nix was going through.

As they approached the building, Jim gestured to move so he can dock on the roof.

Leonardo cleared the area and stood there helping him land the air craft.

As soon as they landed, Jim helped Nix out, "Leonardo, I've got no time for arguing, Nix needs medical attention NOW." Jim stated intensely.

The minute he saw Nix condition Leonardo radioed his friends to get the infirmary room set and ready, "Come on lets go."
Nix opened her eyes and looked around. Her whole arm was now infected and it began twitching.
