Aerith sighed at him, not that she was angry, but more upset that he could be just like Yuffie sometimes, reckless and think he could take on the world! That was often a bad thing, and ended up getting that person injured.She didn't see that as being ready! "No! You got stabbed..That was not 'awesome' as you put it. Zack...I don't want you turning into Yuffie. You and her are much to alike. You may be great and skilled fighters, but you aren't immortal. And..I know I've said it many times, but I don't want anything happening to you..I want you to protect you're self too. You are the target he is after. " The young women slid a slider hand into his own, holding the both of his hands close t her as she looked into his deep,blue-green eyes. "I am serious, Zack. Please be careful from now on. " So he didn't think she was angry with him, she leaned foward on the tips of her boots to place a gentle innocent kiss on Zack's lips before leaning back down and taking his hand. "I guess...we better go..." She said softly, leading him back out of the area down the stairs of light. As she exited the area, she wanted to see once last thing before really leaving the area and started to walk toward the shell like homes..

Zack shrugged "hey come on, don't compare me with her, I'm not like that, I just... Have to protect you, you're the most important person in my life, I... I'm sorry, please don't be mad..." he said, he didn't really want to be like this, all mad at each other, then again, even if she had been mad he wouldn't be, it was impossible for him to be, no matter what she did "I couldn't let him stab you, I won't let you get hurt, period" he said with a shrug and followed her when she went towards the shell homes, now feeling terrible "I.. Really am sorry, I am, I'll be more careful, I will" he said, trying now to get guilt off his mind

Aerith glanced up at him from the side as they walked. Was she to hard on him, perhaps? She didn't want to seem as though she was angry! "I'm not mad at you! I just..want to be sure you know what you and I are up against. I love you, Zack..I would do anything to protect you, anything..I know I may not be a great fighter. It's not something I like to do, but to be sure you're safe I would fight to my dieing breath.." Aerth sighed softly, as they came to one of the many shell like homes that was farthest then the most of them and almost hidden by the corner of the stone walls around them. She walked inside, glancing around the old home. She simply couldn't believe how everything was still in place, beds, pillows, everything the Ancients of so many years ago had used.

Zack shook his head quickly "No Aerith, I wouldn't let that happen! I'd sooner sacrifice myself for you! You're too important to let that happen!" he said, he wouldn't let her die, the only way that'd happen, is if he died first, which he didn't plan on doing, so, she'd be fine! He looked around the shell house "does it feel like there's something... different about this place? From the other houses? As if there's something hidden here..." he said looking around the house

Aerith looked back at him a moment, smiling faintly. "I won't see you die. " Was all she said, her voice softend to almost a whisper when she said those very words. The Cetra walked through the decently sized home, glancing up the spiraling 'stairs' that lead to the second level to the home. She could feel it too. "I..do. " It was as though something was leading her somewhere in the home, nudging her to the stairs. She didn't resist the temptation to up, and proceeded her way to the top level. Once she was there, in the very middle was a white and golden pole, pearls were all set into it of many colors.As she reached out a hand to touch it, upon contact the pole suddenly emitted off a bright flash of light. The pole, now seemed to stretch out into what almost appeared to be a strange vortex void. There was a strong feeling of warmth, a gentle wave radiating off. She knew it wasn't evil, or dangerous just by that. Aerith hesitantly put her hand through, watching it go through the strange vortex of glowing soft white light. "Zack..." She grabbed his hand, and pulled him along with her. She knew he would be right there behind her! When they two would enter, they would come to what looked to be a pure crystal room. And a golden chest there on a pedistal waited there to be opened.

Zack had followed her up the stairs "how about... Neither of us will?" he said with a soft smile, that was his plan all along! When she touched the pole he walked closer, and when she put her arm in the vortex he immediatly grabbed her other hand, just in case, then when he entered the room, he was... Amazed to say the least! He kinda felt bad for some reason he looked at his hands for a moment "former SOLDIER first-class, working for the enemy of the planet... Am I worthy enough to enter such a holy place...? Maybe I should wait outside" he said with a sigh, meaning what he said, he had never said something like that, usually he talked about being a first-class proudly, but, being in this room made him feel different...

What Zack didn't know was that, only Ceta could ever enter this place. No regular human had ever been able to pass through the vortex to the crystal room. Aerith glanced back at him, smiling at his words as she took his hand. "You're..welcome here. " She heard them speaking to her, telling her these things. "Zack..The planet has chosen you,too. "
Suddenly, a voice spoke out. The only difference was, Zack could hear it too! " Hero.. Zack Fair..We welcome you with honor. You are here, the only human to ever pass the Ancient Gate. We have left this here gift for the one who would protect the last Cetra. You will find attire for you and her. We are thankful to you, Hero to the Planet, Zack Fair. "
(( *giggle.* ))
Aerith rested her hand on the golden chest. It was a decent size about four foot long, and wide. The chest gave off a soft glow, and then there was a click! As she reached out both hands to each side, Aerith lifted it open. Inside was a pure white lining in golden trim, one one side was a mans attire, and the other a womens.

Zack looked around as the voices came from nowhere, the words made him smile, in a really meaningful way, " ... Thank you... Thank you! I won't fail you, I promise! I'll live up to your expectations!" he said with a smile and followed Aerith to the chest, feeling a lot better now, the first human... " it's an honor, really" he said smiling then went to the chest, taking out the outfit, the one he'd from here on out call Hero's Outfit the outfit seemed so... Right for him! " so, what do you think? I think the Cetra have good taste! I think I'll call it Hero's Outfit, what'ya think? Too cheesy?" he asked smiling and looking at her ((Lol, the two links are both different pics, and yeah! Thanks Ethan! XD))

(( XD This is to fun! ))
Aerith smiled, a bright, cheerful smile that could light up just about any room from the aura she have off. "Wow..This is amazing!! Zack Fair.." She began, giggleing softly as she held up the new dress.. It was a much softer pink color, almost white. The trim along it was a elegant red. "I told you, that you were a Hero. And mine, too! Hee-hee!" Her ever so cheerful-ness seemed to be coming back as well. "I'm going to go change! " She stepped through the portal vortex like door to go find a more private area in the little shell home. But before she did, her head popped back through the portal. "No peeking!" He would then hear a soft giggle as she darted down the little stair like path down to go change.

Zack smiled and nodded, and blushed a bit when she said the last part "I hope you don't think I'd actually do that" he said with a slight smile, he knew it was a joke, and this was the second time she had said it, although, he hoped she didn't think he was like that! "Yeah, I guess I'll just change in here?" he said, he didn't think he should step out of the portal, that may end up bad for him! So he'd just change in here...
Zack put the Buster Sword on his back, now feeling more heroic then he ever had, he was now a warrior of the ancients, protector of the planet, boy what his parents would say to him! He looked at himself with the Hero's outfit on, and smiled, then looked to the first class SOLDIER outfit on the floor, he picked it up, may as well save it just in case, though, he had little interest in the outfit now, after what shinra had done, he did a few squats "Zack, protector of the planet, warrior of the ancients, I will not fail you! I thank you so much for this gift!" he said smiling, and as he was about to leave, a voice came to him Aerith... "huh? What about Aerith?" she is the most important thing to you, and you have a strong will, and a strong desire to help, and protect her, no matter what, that's why you could come, she is your princess, your honor, your dreams, you must protect her with your life, even if it comes to that Zack smiled slightly "don't have to tell me what I already know" he said humph, indeed "so, your race ends with her? Is that it? That's not even fair, if it wasn't for ya'll, I wouldn't be here now" he said with a sigh don't be so sure... With true love, as you and Aerith share, there comes new life, there is no such thing as a half-Cetra it took Zack a moment, but then he gasped a bit "Gast! He was a normal human! And Aerith, so, you're telling me..." you are the warrior of the Cetra, indeed, but you are also the harbinger of our return, you will see to it yourself, will you not? "yes, I will! I swear! You can count on me, I won't let you down! This'll be my thank you to all of you, and... To Aerith too, I thank you, I feel almost related to you myself" he said smiling, he felt even more special now, something he hadn't understood before, he was now helping the race, of course, he wouldn't care what came of it, his love for Aerith was whole,, and having kids was something he wanted to do before he had realized what would come of it, he walked out of the portal with a smile on his face "Aerith you'll never guess what happened" he said as he came out, not knowing if she would be in front of him or not, of so, hopefully she wasn't still changing! That'd be embarrassing!

Aerith had just finished getting her new dress on. It felt so right, like it had belonged to her all along. Not only that but it gave her that true innocent appearance that she had always carried with her. She looked like a true Princess! Before she picked up her old clothing, she did a little twirl in her knew dress. Her long chestnut brown hair was now down mostly freely but for a little that she tied at the back to put her pink bow back on. Locks of her hair fell over her shoulders as she reached down to pick up her old outfit, and finally stepping out of the door and upstairs once again where she would wait for Zack. As she waited, she let a hand twirl a lock of hair in her finger, while still admireing her new attire.
When Zack stepped out after a short time, Aerith smiled and ran over to him, throwing her arms around him into a hug. This was just the perfect way to set the day after such a troublesome innocent of earlier! "Wow, You look like a Knight, Hero! Hee-hee! What happened? "

Zack smiled at Aerith, wrapping his arms around her back "wow, you look like a princess, then again, you're my princess, and I'm your knight who'll protect you!" he said smiling and turned to slightly look at the portal, figureing it'd disappear, then he turned back to her "heh, I talked to an ancient, he told me a few things, but anyway, think about something, your father, Gast, he was a normal human, just like me, and you're an ancient, so, what does that tell you about our kids...?" he asked smiling and waited for what she'd say, then said "I was told I am the warrior of the ancients, the protector of the planet, and, the one to return the Cetra to the planet, well, you and I of course, that's a teamwork thing, heh, not bad for a random country boy, huh?" he said with a smile, this, it was such an honor to be doing this! He could barley stand it as he did a few squats in his excitment! "It just makes our children even more special! This, this is the start of something, I'll feel like a real hero saving a whole race! Not just any race either! Your race, Aerith, seems like you'll have to give up the title of last surving ancient, although... I like it better that way I think, ancient, that doesn't matter to me, there's only one Aerith, and that's who you are, you don't need anything else to make you special" he said smiling, boy, that was a mouthful! But he meant every word

Aerith giggled softly, hugging him for a longer moment before letting go again. When he had began to speak, the portal slowly began to close up, and it formed to that same white and golden pearl covered pole. Clasping her hands in front of her the Cetra listened to his words. They had talked to him too? She knew it, in her heart Zack was always special. It seems her people have caught onto that same feeling as well. " Really? This is so amazing. I ..can't believe it. You were alway's special to me, now you're just as special to them! " She blushed a little, though they have spoken of children before, teased about it and joked about it, knowing they had said something like that to him was a little embarrassing! "They..said that? He-he..he! I guess, when that day comes, I won't be so alone anymore..The Ancients..The planet may have it's peace once again! " She smiled softly at his last words, hugging him tightly again. "Thank you, Zack. I love you. "

Zack smiled a bit, but the second to last thing she said, well, it bothered him, alone? Is that... Really how she feels? Am I... Not good enough for her...? "Yeah, I... I... We should probably get going..." he said and started to walk down the staircase, hiding away a tear, which he quickly wiped off, why couldn't she think the way he did? It didn't matter that she was an ancient and he was a human, they were together, and he would always do anything and everything for her, but, she still felt alone...?

(( XD We are so dramatic. Gotta love it! ))
"Hmm? What's wrong?" She glanced at him, of such a time, and everything that had just happened how could he look so suddenly, depressed? She began to go through her words she had previously spoken,she didn't quite follow yet as she rested a hand under her chin. ~"Did I say something bad?! "~ Her eyes slowly rested to the ceiling above as she slipped into deep thought.. "~I don't know what I said! Oh no..What did I say that upset him?.~" She asked, though this time her thoughts were going directly to her mother.
~"Aerith, my sweet daughter..You aren't alone. We are all here with you, no matter what. All you have to do is think of us. Do not let that bring saddness to you. Zack, He may feel as though he isn't good enough for you. "~ Ifalna said, her words gentle.
Aerith clasped a hand over her mouth, her emerald green eyes widend at what her mother had said. He..felt that way? No, that wasn't what she wanted, or meant to happen! Tears welded up into her eyes as she ran down the stairs, her arms wrapping around him from behind.. "Zack! I'm so sorry!! I... I didn't mean it like that! Please forgive me..I..I just mean...I..I always felt alone..To be the last one of you're kind, It just makes me feel alone.. I'm so sorry..I shouldn't have said that.. I .." She felt so bad she couldn't find the words to say!
