Light was having a spazz attack on the inside as he looked frantically around the room for something that would help L. Running into the kitchen he grabbed a bowl and bolted back into the living room, almost tripping over his own feet in his haste. Holding the bowl over L's mouth Light spoke softly, "Just spit into here and not into your hand."

He fell forward, against Light, pushing him back some and L's body fell to the ground. He coughed and cringed in pain as some of his worst scars were hit. He coughed more, trying to keep more of his blood from the carpet.

"Ah! Damnitt what do I do?" Light panicked, pulling L up onto his lap. He put the bowl in front of L's face, "Just cough into here. I dont care about the carpet." he said quickly, running one of his hands through his hair to calm L down.

He coughed violently, his blood trailed from his mouth and into the bowl, after a long while, it went away, L's body collapsed into Light's as he brought his knees to his chest and curled up , putting his bloodstained hands on his faded jeans, blood covered below his mouth and his chin. His pale-white hands were covered completely in crimson blood.

"Are you ok?" Light asked quietly, hugging L to his chest, "I was scared, I thought that you were going to die." he whispered. It felt so out of character for him to actually care about someone.

He flinched some, surprised, that someone actually cared about him. "I-I'm fine, sir... I just have... Well it's sort of like tuberculosis." He said softly, looking down.

"Uh, do you have any medication for it?" Light asked, sighing quietly and resting his head on the arm of the couch.

"I'm immune to it." He said, looking away. "I'll leave." He said as he pulled himself up and slowly tried to leave the room.

"Hey, wait!" Light said suddenly, reaching out to grab the cuff of L's shirt. "Don't leave." he spoke quietly.

He felt Light's hand grip the cuff of his shirt and his body fell back against him, he felt his cheeks heat up some.

"Don't go." he repeated, "I want you to stay." Light wrapped his arms around L lightly and buried his face into his back.

L flinched slightly when Light did what he did, but he did not move.
