Haikimaru smiled at the girl. "And I am Haikimaru Taninaka." When saying his name his accent became thick and his words grew faster. He was after Japanese and was only going to school here. "Humans are terrible creatures that have cut down the forest we would normally hit in for centuries." He added why he disliked them. He was forced to like in the hard concrete area of Yamanote area in Tokyo. Watching little bugs from his apartment window do their shopping. He was ignoring the old man for the moment. If he dared to step in his way Ojii-chan would be cut down.

He chuckled at the comment for a moment and spoke up. "Indeed humans are terrible, we have both a great capacity for good or evil." his voice was calm but muffled slightly underneath the mask. he thought for a moment and looked up to the sky feeling the wind go through his hair and looking towards the sun frowning. He stopped for a moment and then turned to both of the students. "And maybe the most horrible thing about us, is that in order to create we must first destroy." Devlin said with a scoffing somewhat. he tightened the grip on the pommel to his sword. "But we are still granted the privilege of life, and make up for our deficiencies. After all isn't it human sorcery which keeps the magical realm safe?" he smiled after a moment and with his free hand removed his gasmask somewhat dramatically and look straight at the young man and girl.his face was lined fro everything that had happened to him in his life and his stare was long and cold. as if he weren't actually looking at them but straight through them.

Sila glanced at the man who walked arrived, but went back to looking at Haikimaru. It was rude to look away while you where talking to someone. The young man's accent covered over his name. His words growing quicker also. "I've met some humans who have come to love the earth. But those seem so few and far." She said before the man came by to talk. She turned to face him. He was big, and was wearing something like a gas mask on his face. He did have a point. But she was mostly talking about regular humans. Those with no special powers. She wouldn't say it out loud though. He was also an elder. More of a teacher than a student. "That is a good point. I've never thought about it that way. Thank you." She said, trying to figure out what the stare meant. If anything.

Haikimaru hated this old man. He dominate and bully nature was going to break through. "Teme." he mumbled in his native language. He was not happy about this make messing up his flirting. Devlin was messing with fire. "Humans are so fun to scare too. They don't know what we are and we can growl just to get them to go away." He hated humans because they were easy to bully.

Shaking his head he sighed and looked squarely at Haikimaru in the eye. "Oh really boyo, let me ask you this how would you fare watching your friends if one like you has friends being ripped apart by machine gun fire. hearing their screams of agony?" Devlin chuckled quite morbidly and deeply frowning some more he looked at the young boy who was taller then him, after all as humans went he was short. "I've been to hell and back I don't scare lad, and will not tolerate bullies." his words came out as ice and an inner fire could be seen in his eyes under his glasses.

Sila was momentarily confused when the boy said 'teme.' Maybe she should take a language class. And bye that Japanese maybe? That's what it sounded like. It would be good for her to take another class also. And hey, if she ever went to Japan she would need to know the language. Although she probably wouldn't. So far away from her home tree. "You scare humans? Why?" She asked. It didn't seem like a nice thing to do. But of course killing people because of them wanting to cut down a tree wasn't the nicest thing. But either way, she would harm anyone who dare try and hurt the trees.

Haiki was probably older than this human. He was still born in the times that samurai still ruled. His three tails said so. "War in human terms is not like war in Monster terms. I scare them so humans don't come discovering what we are." He answered both of them. He bared his teeth.

He smirked a little bit and thumbed his reddish gray goatee for a moment and loosened his saber from it's sheath and chuckled cruelly "Lad, war is war with his free hand he slowly began to unbutton his trench coat in case. "And be that as it may." Devlin stopped for a moment providing a smile that contorted his facial features and revealed a couple scars around his left eye and turned his head a little bit to reveal another angry red scar on the side of his neck. "I don't scare." he said smirking at the students pitiful attempt to intimidate him. "And would you stop that you remind me of my Shepard Dante god rest his soul." Devlin added with crossing himself and kissing his thumbnail.

Sila sighed. She came to this place to get away from people hurting the environment. If these two where to duel it out then of course there would be flowers harmed. Just by standing there the two people would be hurting the flowers. Flattening them with their feet. "Are you really being like this? I don't know what you call it here, but this is what I would call being immature. If you continue to act like this you could hurt the flowers. Which would not make me happy. So I would suggest you go your ways and stop talking to each other." She lectured them. And it was true. If they messed up the flowers badly she would not be happy. Flowers where not like trees. But they where still generous enough to provide beauty and peacefulness on the land.

Haikimaru stepped onto the pathway. Taking notice of what Sila wanted. "You're right. I don't insult people." He hated that dog comment. No one called him a dog and go away with it for long. "Come we are better walking away." He told Sila.

Shaking his head after a moment Devlin continued chuckling "Kids." He said and let out a sigh bowing slightly as they turned to leave. and thought for a moment and looked around at the grass and flowers. Smiling for a moment he chuckled "Reminds me of the farm, and my garden." He said after a moment and knelt down to get a closer look. After a moment Devlin began to whistle a tune enjoying the liveliness of it. The tune.

Sila nodded. Glad he saw her point of view. She gave an apologetic look to the teacher, not wanting either of the two to dislike her on her first day. And the last comment threw her a little off. She was most likely older than him. He was just generalizing people by looks. Either way though it didn't matter. She followed Haikimaru onto the path. Healing the flattened flowers where he walked. Letting them grow back up. "Where are we going?" She asked, her voice back to how they first met. Not like the old motherly preachy voice.

Haikimaru stopped and turned to his new friend. He could go almost anywhere. "Is there anywhere you want to go? My treat." The Kitsune offered. He smiled at her and offered his hand like a true gentleman.

Sila looked down at the hand and took it. Then looked back up to the face of the Kitsune. "Well, it's my first day here. I was just drawn to this area. So I'm not sure." She said with a small nervous chuckle. She would figure out her way around here. And maybe they had a class together. Even though he seemed way above her grade. And she still had to go see where she would be for living matters. And if she would be living with anyone.

Haikimaru thought. There were several places around campus. The dance club was probably a little to noisy for her liking. There was that little cafe. "Would you like to get a drink and maybe a sweet?" The fox demon finally thought of an idea.
