Zack Strife
 Zack sighs and lets this thing go. He wasn't really sure what this guy meant when he talked about that something that disappeared anyways. "Alright.. and who would you be?" He asks. He was going to ask that what he was, but that would maybe been too offensive. This guy didn't feel like threat yet, but more like something disturbing.

 Danny Yahya "I'm Danny, just your average two-heart human." Danny said brightly to the new guy who came. "But you know it's better to introduce yourself before asking me, it's more polite that way." He scolded him teasingly and laughed a bit. He already had the feeling that this new guy sensed something way different about Danny.

Zack Strife
"Heh.." Danny was right that he should tell his name before asking others. Maybe he was really that shaken that someone this unnatural was in this forest. Though this forest wasn't hes and had seen many different races before, so he wasn't sure why he was this disturbed. "Your right. My name is Zack Strife, your average spirit warrior and shaman." He said, copying him a bit. Instead of getting annoyed or anything like that, he was getting amused. Though he was still wary. "And what you meant with having two hearts?" He had never heard that any human had two hearts, so he asked even if he might sound stupid.

Danny Yahya "Nice to meet you Zack, and it's exactly as it sounds, I have two hearts. One here, and the other here." He said as he pointed at his left side of his chest and then the right side. "And I'm a human, so it makes me a human with two hearts." He finished with a bright smile as he spoke to Zack.

Hmm...So Danny was the name of this 917 year old...person, creature. Whatever he was. She could only wonder what else this Danny was hiding. Maiara watched the two, her arms folded loosely, sensing some of the tension from Zack fade a bit. Even while observing the two speak, she kept an eye on the forest around them. There didn't seem to be anything amiss, but she smelled another person not to far away. A male. From what she could tell, he wasn't moving much. Looking back at Zack she tilted her head curiously, "Why you come to this..." Maiara said with a frown, pausing to look around at the ominous forest, not sure what to call this place "This...dark land?"

Danny Yahya "Ah, look at the time, I have other things planned today, so I will take my leave here." Danny said smiling a bit. "It was nice meeting you both, maybe we will meet again, who knows. So seeya!" He finished with a broad smile and a wave to them both as he ran off and left the forest.

Archer ran his hand down the bark of the large oak tree he was currently perched upon. He had come to the forest because the trees were crying, and now he knew why.
There was a strange energy here, and it was choking the trees, permiating their bark and getting right down to the cores. The trees were sick. But he didn't know if he could cure this, or if it was even curable. The dark energy came up from the ground, and twisted the poor trees. Something awful must of happened here for this much horrible energy to still exist. It made his skin crawl.
He layed both hands on the tree in front of him, and concentrated. His hands started to glow with a pure clean light. A bead of sweat appeared on his brow as he pushed his energy into the tree, down towards the core. He couldn't completely cure it, but he could allieviate the suffering of this poor oak.
All of the sudden, this strange noise wailed through the woods, breaking his concentration. With an angry huff, he looked to where the sound was coming from. A group of people stood there. One of them left the group and ran out of the forest. He jumped down from his perch and walked towards them.
"HEY!" he yelled "Stop with the wailing! I'm doing something important over here!"

Maiara turned quickly towards the boy, who was obviously just as disturbed by the same noise as Zack was. She took a deep breath; he smelled of the forest, a healthy one, not of this tormented land. A bit refreshing. Especially in the midst of the awful scent she could still detect. Could it be related to the strange noise of the odd machine?
Examining the student, it was easy to tell that his spirit had a connection to the forest. The only one who had seemed to be unaffected by the dark forest was the Danny man. "He gone now." Maiara said quietly to him. She had to admit she felt a bit more relaxed now that this Danny was gone. Sometime about him made her uneasy, but she didn't completely distrust him. Perhaps it was his constant smiling, even though he explained why, it was difficult to get used to or understand.

Archer de Luca Archer looked around at the two people left besides himself. The boy was much older than him, and seemed a little angry. It made him a little nervous. The girl was about his age. All the anger he had been carrying for the loud noise left him suddenly.
"Oh," he said sheepishly, "So he was the one who caused it? I'm sorry, I don't normally get that angry, it seems that this forest filled with dark energy is taking it's toll on me. Trees like me seem easily affected by it, thankfully MY tree isn't in this forest. It's back home. Hi, my name is Archer. What's yours?" He stuck his hand out towards the girl who spoke to him. She seemed easy to talk to.

Maiara listened to the many words that came from his mouth, a bit overwhelmed. She figured that she got the gist of what he had said. "Maiara." She said while looking at his hand curiously. Archer's anger seemed to have dissipated very quickly, it took her off guard for a moment. Maiara did eventually take his hand, figuring that was what she was supposed to do. "You know where this energy come from?" Maiara asked, she had felt the dark presence the moment she took the first step into the forest. He also did seem to know a lot of about the trees, from what she could gather from what he said.

Archer de Luca Archer caught on that english wasn't her first language. He'd try to make things clearer for her. Something about this girls energy was animalistic, fox-like. He noticed that she seemed confused by the gesture he had made with his hand upon greeting her.
"Shaking hands when greeting someone is what we do here." he said, "Sorry to confuse you."
He crouched down, placing his hand, palm down, on the ground. "The energy comes from deep in the earth. Something bad happened here. I don't know what. But it has tainted this place. It's no wonder monsters are drawn here. I don't think we should stay for long."

"I see." Maiara said curiously while she shook Archer's hand. As a greeting, it made sense. This was something she would have to remember. She nodded to his apology, she didn't need one, but it was a nice gesture. Non-threatening. "You speak to earth?" Maiara asked, crouching next to him, putting her hand, like his, on the ground. She couldn't sense what he was seeing from this, all she could smell was the awful stink and an animal that had passed by earlier. "I cannot sense this energy as you can, but there many spirits that haunt here. I agree with not staying here long."

Archer de Luca "Yes, I speak with the earth. I'm a Dryad. An earth spirit." Archer said, gazing out into space, concentrating on the information he was getting from the ground. "It seems there is one place in this forest that is not affected. It is filled with a pure energy, unlike anything I've seen before. I wonder what that could be."
He stood up, wiping his hands on his pants. "You said there are spirits here? They might be able to tell us what happened to this place. Can you speak with them? You don't have to if you don't want to, I'm just curious."

Zack Strife
Zack did kinda like this dark place, since it was closest thing that resembled hes forests in home. Sure he found this tormented forest disturbing at first time he came here, but he was in a dark mood back then too. He sometimes visited this forest just to listen the original voices that this old place once had. They are silent, but sometimes he could still hear them. Of course its not too wise to stay here too long, since one could easily get affected by the same curse. Especially tose with close bonds with nature and spirits. And Zack had close bond to both.
Zack was just answering to Maiara's question about what he was doing here, when this Archer guy showed up. He watched silently as Archer and Maiara spoke, trying to figure this Archer guy a bit. "This place was mainly corrupted by evil spirits that came here. Then this forest was tainted more by its own darkness." Zack then said. "Only the heart of forest remained untainted." Zack had heard much about dryads since he had heard many tales about them. They're rumored to live in hes home country's deep woods too, though no one never seen them.

Archer de Luca "I see. I wonder what keeps the center so pure?" Archer said, pushing his bangs out of his eyes. His hair got annoying. In the spring and summer months, his hair actually grew leaves. Leaves! Talk about annoying the barber. He would have to get it cut soon, and buds were already beginning to sprout on his head. He sighed. Maybe it would just be easier to cut it himself.
All the sudden, a chill ran through him. He shivered, and went weak at the knees, almost falling over, but he caught himself. Recovering, he took a deep breath.
