hmm...
if ya ask me...
i'd like to have both...and yeah...that depends on the type of character the catgirl will potray...
for long haired catgirls...they display themselves as mysterious, shy or peace-loving mostly...
for short haired catgirls...they display themselves as athletic, agile, adventurous and sometimes mischievous mostly...

Pesonally, it really depends on the hair. There are some catgirls that are amazing with short hair and some with long hair. It just depends on the situation.
