I don't understand why you would need runes to tell a circle what it's for. It's your circle; you should know what it's for.
Of course you can worship other deities as a Heathen. Which ones are you interested in worshipping?
I'm not sure why you need evidence, or a certain amount of it, to talk to the gods. If you want to speak to Odin, hold a blot and speak to Odin. You can ask him if he's been contacting you and if he wants anything.

I am still looking. It's that easy? I mean I have no idea what a Blot is but that sounds a lot easier than I was making it. I just..I second guess myself a lot and so I suppose I wanted some reassurance that They, any God or Goddess not just Odin, would listen. Maybe that's why I feel like I don't get answers. I haven't been asking in the right way.

I haven't been asking in the right way. Yeah, I was beginning to get that impression from you wink Faith is still a part of these things. You can be open to UPG and your own impressions of deity without letting go of lore or of scepticism. But don't let those things block your chances of religious experience. I think this is something we all struggle with even years later. A blot is a Heathen ritual. It's pretty simple, you just offer a drink to the gods, partake, and pour it out, though it can be much more elaborate. It may be easier for you if you read through a book on Heathenry before holding one. Not that you can't, but it can be easier that way. I had an interesting experience with the deities when reading "Exploring the Northern Tradition" by Krasskova so I do recommend that book even though she's a bit out-there, and "Essential Asatru" by Paxson is the standard.

The idea that I can will things with Magic into happening astounds me. I need to work on it. My Energy Work is abysmal. Still. Is drawing things not viable? I feel like drawing things to Magic, whatever those things maybe circles or anything, would help. I think that act of drawing would help me control the Energy to do Magic. As for the Sun and Moon Deities its mostly cuz I feel something when I look at the Moon. I feel distinct energy or vibe and its definitely a feminine vibe. The Sun part comes from early one when I was learning about Paganism and the whole Sun-is-the-mate-of-the-Moon thing with the Horned God. Its confusing as hell to me. So for now its not that important just eventually I want to explore that energy. I shall see if I can get those books. The second guessing is a bad habit carried over from when I had a lot less self-esteem. I am working on it. Honestly my Path, my connection to Thor and possibly Odin, and of, I suppose now, becoming a Heathen gives me confidence. I clearly matter or Thor wouldn't care is the logic.

With a circle I think it's unnecessary because the act of creating the circle itself is usually sufficient - but I mean, in doing so often you're "drawing" the circle, and sometimes pentagrams as well, in its construction. Just with a tool or a finger instead of a pencil.

I have two questions specifically.
One can you taste Energy?
Two how do you think the Gods would feel about Prayers written by an individual in their own distinctive style? I mean that I am a Poet by nature and my poems often come out like raps and I think it would be an amazing thing to attempt to create a poem in that style that was a prayer. I just dont want to offend Them.

It's just more of an observation. As I was standing outside a few weeks back it was during a cold front and I took a deep breath in appreciation of the cold weather. I noticed that the air however tasted and felt funny in mouth and going down my throat. It was like when you have a bunch of mints in your mouth and you inhale and you feel that cold blast. It was like that. So I figured it was just that kinda thing. But I kept doing it on various days and various times and I keep feeling it, much more weakly but I do feel it. These other attempts were not during the cold front and I very very rarely breath through my mouth. Like I said it could be any number of utterly normal and boring things but I think it might be tasting Energy because recently my Energy Work and Sense has improved a lot.
