The shade's answer admitted that he would be hurt by the bullet even as a shadow, giving Nai the chance to not waste precious ammo and energy. However, he asked to be shot and as Nai had already expended the energy to coat the bullet, she decided that she would. Although, the appearance of a very distracting light stopped her from acting on her decision immediately.

Nai had seen the portal in her peripheral vision, but paid it little heed because as soon as she noticed it, she also recognized the figure stepping out. He was Kain, the leader of the mission, and not a threat. Although, the action he took after appearing certainly labeled him as a nuisance for the time being. The light startled Nai and she reacted to it by instinctively turning to glance at it, getting blinded even more by it, and then finally turning her face away from it--all in a moment's time. The blindness the light caused Nai, put her in a situation she absolutely abhorred for the split second it lasted. Even after she regained her vision, she did not much like how Kain's light made it difficult to look anywhere remotely in his direction.

No doubt, Nai's distaste for the uncalled for light only made the shade's situation even more enjoyable. The smallest of grimaces could be seen on Nai's face as she rapidly blinked away the dots in her vision about when the shade started singing and the expression just as quickly disappeared when Strife started laughing. The timing of the end of Nai's grimace of the beginning of Strife's painful laugh was too perfect to be just coincidence, but it wasn't because she heard Strife that the woman's face reverted into a blank slate, eyes focused on scanning the trees. She had heard, mentally and not physically, a certain fox-like being finish the sentence Strife had failed to, {How I wonder what you are.} It was a given he would be lurking within a shadow and at the moment, the only shadows were in the trees on the side away from light. If he wanted vision on Nai, he would need to be in the trees on the same side of the light as Nai was. However, Nai could not pinpoint where.
{You,} the girl acknowledged her summon's presence just before the mental link between the two broke, signaling that X had no plans to speak to her for the time being. As usual, the motives for the shadowy being remained unknown even to his summoner. She had been expecting him to suddenly pull off some bothersome action, not quietly disappear.

Through it all, Nai did not point her hand gun away from Strife. Ad's appearance was not expected by Nai and her trees certainly drew the woman's attention, but when the blonde elf explained her purpose, Nai stopped considering the humanoid plants as a threat. She agreed with the elf, the light was annoying and it was about time the group started the mission.

The jokes Strife cracked after Ad appeared went completely over Nai's head. Actually, to be more exact, Nai didn't even bother trying to figure out what the shade was trying to say, but his words did give her an excuse to look back at his location in her shadows so she could properly aim and shoot him right on cue. Seizing the moment of calm immediately following Strife's last words about bullets and proposals, Nai shot the shade as he had requested. She then calmly opened her handgun as if she hadn't done anything wrong, which she hadn't. Hopefully, she would finally be able to finish replacing the regular bullets in it with rubber bullets.

Kain let out a sigh as Adiel made sense. He doused the light but he didn't care for the Shades threats. He was prepared to burn it to a crisp if he did anything hostile. Even when Nai fired he could tell the bullet was wrapped in energy to make it non-lethal "Well as it goes you are a stranger here Shade, are you a foreigner or a citizen?" he asked the Shade "also threats will earn you a quick grave" he said passively.

Grunting the little dark elf mage pulled on her dress to make the thorny vine let go of the cloth. "This is what I hate about traveling!" Lo muttered in elven as she gave one last good tug and finally freed her dress from the annoying plant. 'On top of getting lost on my way here, I can't find Adiel either! Bah!' Lo brushed the dirt off her dress before she started walking towards the gates to the cemetery. She stopped just before the gates and looked at the sad state the Graveyard was in.

It was just like you would picture a graveyard. All the plants and weeds had grown up around the tombstones to the point where you couldn't read even some of the bigger markers. There was still a path, but even it was almost lost in the maze of vines and weeds. Trees were even growing beside or on top of graves, knocking over the tombstones or cracking them into with roots. Lo walked past the graves slowly, remembering when it used to be such a pretty place. Everything used to be green and colorful. Now it was all grays and browns. Lo sighed quietly, but jumped at the sound of a gun firing and the familiar feeling of someone casting a spell.

Lo found the source of the noise a moment later. It was in fact the very people she was looking for. Adiel, Kain, and Nai. Nai seemed to have fired her weapon, but upon finding the group Lo could see that they weren't fighting. At least not with each other. "Hey! Don't fire your gun randomly like that!" Lo scolded as she walked over to Nai. Afraid that she would accidentally hit the gravestone of someone very, very important. "This is a grave site. What if you hit his grave-" Lo stopped herself in mid-sentence as a cold chill ran down her spine.

She turned her attention away from Nai and random target practice to look for the source for of the chill. It felt like there was another person there. Lo could sense a fifth person there, but Lo couldn't see them. All rational thought left Lo at this point. Abandoned graveyards were by far the worst thing to step into, even worse to be shooting off guns. "This place is so different than it used to be! It feels like there's someone watching us, sister." Lo whined as she turned to her blond friend. She looked pretty scared at this point, looking much paler than normal. "What if there's a ghost watching us because of that gun shot? We'll be cursed!" now she was speaking elven out of habit.

12341234• Dementia
This ability allows them to store a tiny fraction of Justor's magic into their own body. The result is simple and yet very efficient. Not only are their casting times reduced by one post, but their spells are increased in size and range (and speed... slightly). This makes their magic harder to dodge, further solidifying them as the most efficient magic-users. The rate at which size/range are increased = add 1/3 of the base. So, 15 feet in length would become 20 feet in length. Speed is increased by about 1/5th, although this can become overwhelming if you constantly sling spells.

12341234• Detect Magic
Rank: Passive
Description: The user can detect magic. This means when others cast spells, or emanate high amounts of energy, you can see their aura. This also means you can detect magic in an area, meaning if an area has something magical about it, you can feel it. At higher ranks, you can determine the source in an area.

________________A New Man?________________

While everyone was conversing with eachother, a bullet being fired at a shade before a flashy mage appeared to be a p***k by shining light on the shade. Soon the Dawn Elf arrived, slightly agitated from the sight of the Mage and the Shade's interactions. Soon the Dark Elf arrived and that was when the gang was all here as the wind around them felt heavier. A voice soon echoed out to all of them to be careful on this trip, this may have been their first mission, but this could very well be their last. With that, a strong gust of wind flew by them all, causing flinching but no damage as it was only aimed to make them cover their eyes. Soon, sitting atop of a gravestone, was a cloaked man as he seems to have been there the entire time. "So... you all have come to aid us in our plight... thank you." He spoke, it sounded echoish as the hood kept his eyes covered while he turned towards them. "Me and my people are thankful of your acceptance of this dangerous mission." He continued, getting off of the tombstone while he wielded a long and dangerous scythe.

Kain's hazel eyes turned to the newest figure. The air felt more tense around him, the man was cloaked in shadow but not the same as Strife. He eyed the mans scythe most of all. He listened to the man speak "yes we are I am Kain Leingod" he said formally "Captain Exceed sent use to assist with the Golem brothers" he said.

" A fool thinks himself to be wise,

The changes in the area did not stay the hand of the elf, nor had the arrival of Lo'. Ongoing growth of hostility only provoked her further with the unsheathing of her swords, one upon each hand as their curved blades reflected what little light there was off the metal sheen. The arrival of yet another only made her worse to react and much more aggressive with a stance. Adiel ignored Lo' for she was fixed on the one holding the scythe, not the shade nor the reaper, him.

The swords were held off to either side although low at her hips, only out for any convenience of a quick strike to any who'd dare to make a move of any sort towards her, or Lo'. Kain spoke and thus eliminated the need for her to speak, all the better for her to keep her focus locked as the glow of her blue eyes shone under her hood. What would he do, and why a weapon if this one was here to relay such a task? Adiel knew nothing but to keep her mind focused as she projected her mental presence further, closer to Nai and in the shadows while her physical body remained, giving the elf two views at the exact same time while her disembodied mental presence gave away not a lick of her existence as it was near the Shade as well, or at least where she assumed it hid.

but a wise man knows himself to be a fool. "

Lo shut her eyes and was forced to put her hands on her head to keep her hair from flying out of place because a strong gust of wind blew through the tombstones. Something was unsettling to Lo before the strange wind, but now she felt a new preson join the the little group. Opening her eyes and looking toward a weathered grave marker, Lo backed away, until she was closer to Adiel upon seeing the cloaked figure sitting on a gravemarker.

She frowned as the man mentioned thier mission, but also spoke of his peope being in danger. 'Does that mean their people living in the graveyard?' Lo wondered as she continued to watch the man. He had hoped to the ground and pulled out a very long and sharp looking scythe. Lo noticed that Aidel had also drawn her weapons, which was no surprise. "We were told that the Brothers are fighting around here. Can you point us in the right direction?" Lo asked, feeling very uneasy around the cloaked figure.

Lo's complaints about gunshots fell on uncaring ears. Besides, Nai was too busy remembering Strife's reaction to her shot and reloading her gun, which she accomplished just as the wind grew heavy. The woman calmly readied her gun as she looked up in preparation for whatever had weighed the air down. She was not accustomed to air suddenly growing heavier for no reason, nor was she familiar with unfamiliar voices echoing through the wind, which occurred the moment Nai's finished preparing her gun. The woman faced forward with her head tilted slightly down, eyes roaming from side to side and gun aimed down and held in front of her body at waist-level with both hands. Her black eyes did not shine beneath her hood like Ad's blue eyes. A sudden gust of wind blasted past Nai, strong enough to even make the ever-wary gunslinger flinch and threaten to whip her hood off her head (it did not, but it almost did) but causing no damage all the same.

Beyond moving her head to the side in reaction to the wind and bringing it back to face forwards, Nai did not show any visible reaction to the new man even as her eyes locked onto him, focused but still paying attention to her peripherals. Her face remained composed out of both habit and the woman's innate unwillingness to waste energy on needless actions. Nai did not even move her gun up to aim at the stranger. She merely observed.

The gunslinger registered the newcomer's strangely echoing voice and his scythe, neither judging them as good or bad but simply taking them as noteworthy details. The words he chose also struck Nai as strange, but she lacked skill in words and did not have enough will to bother with something she knew little about. In the end, it turned out that she did not need to. At least two others, Kain and Lo, had spoken for the group and, as far as Nai knew and cared, they had said all that was needed and more.

For the moment, she didn't know whether to register this man as foe or ally. However, he seemed to be a person necessary in the advancement of the mission. For now, she continued to observe.

Strife

The shade watched, unflinching in resolve to feel the bullet, as Nai pointed her gun at him and shot. He watched it, as many seemed to say, in a sort of slow motion as it traveled towards him. He watched until it pierced. He felt the pain as the bullet hit him. The impact foreign to him. He was so rarely hit. Though in a shadowy form he felt it as it struck, the force and speed of the bullet causing an acute pain before it bounced back into the air. And he enjoyed it. He relished in the pain, watching the bullet as it flew up in the air. He wanted it to hit him again. He was begging for it. But it only bounced to the side. He watched it longingly.

He heard the Royal fool's question, but he ignored it. He let the man simmer, not caring to answer, and the bonus being that the other man would remain riled up. He was still staring at the bullet, even though no one could tell other than himself. (an idea for his mental state, listen to Three Days Grace: Pain). He longed for another bullet. He wanted more pain. 'Sweet agony, come back to me...' It was all he could focus on momentarily. The brief rush of feeling, or the faint panic he repressed, oh the tingle he got from the blow. It was all such a sweet memory to him, he wanted it so much more. But the bullet wasn't meant for sever damage. Which meant he likely wouldn't be shot again. His high died, and he focused again on his surroundings, looking or the dim stimulant to ease his withdrawal.

He found a viable source in the form of a newcomer, an elf of sorts that seemed to be scared of ghosts. He was preparing to freak her out, but as he was about to exit the shadow he paused.
"Not enough," he silently whispered, so only Nai would hear. Had the girl come earlier, he would not have hesitated to terrify her. But terrorizing would no longer satisfy him. He needed more. He needed pain. He needed Blood. And they seemed to be headed to a battle of sorts. He could always attack them. They'd prove a challenge. He'd likely lose. 'And then what...do I just cease to exist? No feeling...just nothing?' He honestly had no clue. He wanted to feel a lot more. He wanted the stimulus. The temporary one was not worth it if it meant he would feel...nothing. And that was not acceptable, even to him.

By this point in time, another person had arrived. It was alerted to the shade by a chance in wind pressure. Unnatural, even to a creature like himself. And considering it was a sudden and noticeable change, it had to be done by an outside source. When the wind gusted, he watched, unflinching from Nai's shadow, as the figure appeared atop the grave stone. The shade listened, and smiled.
'Plight means a problem. A problem means trouble. Trouble means action.' The fool, with his annoying voice that made Strife feel like ripping out his vocal cords and was tempted to do so, revealed the target: golems, more than one. 'The more the merrier...' Hearing again the mention of brothers, the shade laughed, a deep and sinister laugh, forgoing his cover within the shadows. 'Excellent, one can watch as the other dies. Their screams and spirit will be so sweet...I can almost taste it.'

No longer feeling like being hidden, and with his cover blown, the shade rose out of Nai's shadow slowly, his upper back first, followed by his limp head and arms extended toward the ground, followed by his robe. He floated there for a second, completely still, before he slowly raised his head and gazed at eye level with everyone else, paying special attention to the frightened elf. He wanted the fighting to start. The thrill. The excitement only found in life and death situations. He wanted the feeling. And so he only said one thing.
"When do we begin?"

OOC: Sorry for wait. Distracted with life. School. Short attention span. Having to respond to a lot of people. Self destruct countdown at T minus 5.

________________A New Man?________________

As soon as everyone addressed him, Kain being the first to speak as the man turned around. The air continued to feel heavy, maybe it was just the presence of this man who could make the graveyard feel depressing more than usual. "Captain Exceed... he and I met once... I will owe him one if you 5 succeed..." He spoke, his voice feeling hollow and echoish monotoned. He soon began to walk with the others, the wind pushing them to follow him slowly.

He could feel some Hostility coming from the Dawn elf before he soon spoke, in a more devastating tone. "Do not challenge what you do not know a single clue of child..." He warned Adiel as he need not see her draw the weapons, but he could feel her hostility trying to cut his. "I mean no harm to you or the others... yet." He continued, talking in a bit of a cryptic voice to keep Adiel on her toes incase she were to 'step out of line'.

"Just follow me Dark one... the path to the Ruins where they wreak their havoc upon my people and the coffins in there is very dangerous if you were to stray..." He told Losidrenthennwen as they continued their walk, he had no sound of footsteps, but merely floated to lead the way. Slowly, but surely, a mist was beginning to set in, so it was necessary to follow this man.

The man had taken notice of the hooded Nai and didn't show a reaction to her appearance. In his air range of feel, he could tell her mere presence was fighting back against his presidential air aura. He didn't say anything to her, like she had not said anything to him of any importance.

"Do not judge the golems to easily shade..." The man spoke, a sound of distaste in his voice from Strife's words and tone of choice. "These golems are required for fortified defenses... should they die... you might end up answering to this realm's area's lord instead of Exceed." He told him as they continued their pace, the mist growing thicker, sounds of groaning could be heard. "We must hurry up... the mist will separate everyone and you will all have to fight an unnecessary battle." He warned them all.

Kain took note on the group, Losidrenthennwen was a Mage too, Adiel was a Ninja, Nai was a Gunslinger and Strife...well he was a Shade, sneaky enough, they didn't have many physical fighters. Though Kain and Losidrenthennwen could provide support. He walked on forward following the man "Adiel and Losidrenthennwen please come with me I have a few things to talk to you about" he said to them.

Nai kept pace with the new man. Even without the warning about the mist, the gunslinger did not like the looks of the noisy, vision obscuring obstacles. For a few steps, Nai even hastened her steps slightly to draw herself closer to the guide before falling back into a pace that neither fell back away from the guide or went any closer to him. Seeing how she could still see the guide, Nai assumed she was fine.

However, she couldn't say the same for the rest of the group. Nai could no longer see the two elves. Until a little while ago, Nai had been the very back of the group, but when she sped up for a few steps, she walked past Ad, who was shadowing Lo as usual, and ended up walking a little in front of Lo. A few steps after resuming her normal pace, Nai's peripherals could no longer see Lo when just a moment ago, the dark elf had been there. Nai glanced behind her to verify and, just as she though, Lo and Ad were no longer with the group.

Everyone else was still with the group, though. Kain was still at the front of the group, acting as the leader even with a guide. For a moment, Nai did have the gall to wonder about how X and Shade were doing, but she regretted showing that little bit of concern when X immediately began echoing in her head the noises that came from the mist as a way to show that he was still with her, and seeing how X was still fine, Nai could only assume Shade was also fine.

When Kain, too busy with keeping an eye on the stranger to notice the disappearance of his allies, asked for Lo and Ad, Nai was the one to respond, "Gone." She didn't give any more information relevant to the disappearance. No suggestion to continue on and just ignore their disappearance; though she did think that was the best course of action. No reason for why she hadn't divulged this information earlier, which was because she doubted having anyone follow after Lo and Ad would do anything to help the elven pair. Nai couldn't help but feel that the unearthly mist surrounding held a world that did not follow the same physics as the world she was accustomed to. Who knew if the time it took for Nai to speak and Kain to make a decision would have resulted in anyone else entering to enter too far away from the elves to be of any use. Nai might have risked going in after Ad and Lo if that didn't mean leaving Kain alone to handle a mission that was originally meant for five people. After all, Nai and everyone inhabiting her shadows made up the rest of the group with the elves gone.

To refocus any potentially wandering minds on the mission at hand, Nai talked, "Strife, train. Man, name? Kain, I will distract," and gave Kain no time to express any discomfort at the knowledge that the group had just lost two members. The master rank gunslinger would watch over the Shade's training to speed it up, needed a name for the man so that it would be easier to think and speak of him, and was probably the best candidate for a front line out of everyone in the group, especially seeing how she currently had two others with her in the shadow.

Passives
XXChaotic Energy: A passive skill that comes naturally after learning at least five chaos skills, Chaotic Energy is present when the chaos within the user reaches the point where it effects the way their energy is seen. It causes the energy to relay absolutely no concrete information (ex: class, rank, sins). Energy sensors will still be able to sense the affected person's energy. However, the energy will be such a mixed up mess that they will be unable to extract any information out of it. At most, they will know that something is unusual with the user. However, what this abnormality is will be unknown as the messed-up patterns of energy hint at nothing.
XXTemporal Accuracy: Those who can control time naturally have a keen sense of time that is capable of accurately keeping the time without any form of outside help. This sense of time is even maintained during the usage of bloodline skills for both the time passed by the user and the time passed by those unaffected by the bloodline skills. Unlike most of the Tempus Inexstinctus's skills, this ability does not break down when within a meter of another significant energy source.

Strife

The shade let out a long and raspy hiss at the mans words. He was denying him satisfaction. He was denying him his existence. Reappearing from Mute's shadow, he floated closer to the man at a slow pace.
"I answer to no one. Because everyone who has said those words have died. I'd welcome his challenge though. The more the bloodier." His kill list was growing exponentially. It seemed that despite the passing of time, wisdom was not passed as well. His loathing seethed to greater lengths, and he imagined a better way to kill the man than his bare claws. Drifting backwards but still facing the man, now apart from everyone, he let his blood lust take shape. He imagined a blade, black as oil, with a gleaming blade attached to the top of it, protruding out to the side. The light gleamed off its dark features in his mind, reflecting death and despair it would bring. And he made the blade part of his essence, so he could relish each and every kill as his own and not the weapons. A piece of silver protruded from his chest. It grew, pushing itself out of him, followed by a long black shaft. A dark light oozed out of his chest as the weapon came out, and a plume of smoke sailed free as the weapon was free. Wielding the scythe, the shade smiled. "Name someone. Anyone. They're already dead."

The shade let out a low cackle, his voice pained but full of joy. Looking off to the side, he noticed a bird. His thoughts sparked. His heart soared. And the bird died. Not by being headless, unfortunately. No, the shade had devised a much more sinister method. Floating silently towards it, as it could not hear him, he tormented himself with the feeling of fire. Feeling his clothes catch fire, his "skin" burning and melt. He imagined the agony, moaning in his mind. Then, he transferred his desire into his blade, attaching his power with it, and just tapped the bird with the blade. A black light formed just before contact, and the sound of a lightning strike was heard, yet there was no visible light to show. The bird screamed, or its version of a scream, and flew off in the direction of his temporary hosts. At the point of impact, first its feather started falling off. Then its flesh melted. And it screamed, falling back to the ground, landing in front of the cloaked figure that denied him satisfaction. It writhed and spasmed, all the way until there was nothing left but a lone feather.

The shade relished in the kill, in the dying caws, and felt euphoric. Its screams were music to his ears. He only wished he could have been closer to watch its torture. Then another thought struck him. A thought of the fool who shed light. A man who he would kill soon. Maybe even now. Grinning, Strife lifted his blade, and tossed it so that it was vertically swinging towards Kain. The blade swung, not slowing at all until it was right in front of the man, spinning in its deadly arc. Unfortunately, it paused inches from his despicable face, and quickly swung back to Strife. Delighted, though also hoping it would fail, Strife tossed the blade again, but this time with no intention of it returning. He watched, as he assumed the man would not react this time. The blade crashed into him, or it would've had he been closer. An inch from his face it dissolved into a black cloud, which quickly was sucked back into Strife, who knew how he would now kill this man. Floating back to him, his voice a whisper,
"Soon, my precious fool. Soon." He drifted back, devilish smile still on his face, and faded back into Naiomi's shadow, content for now, though he couldn't resist adding. "I'm proud of you, blood hoarder, soon you'll have my voice." He said, ending with a long and deep laugh.

OOC: Sorry for wait. Distracted with life. School. Short attention span. Having to respond to a lot of people. Self destruct countdown at 4.

________________Reaper's Grim________________

As Kain tried to contact Adiel and Lo, they were whisked away in the fog, vanishing from sight due to lagging behind too much. Before Kain could show worry, the man raised a hand up before he soon said, "Do not fret everyone... they were merely spirited away to a place that does not exist here... they will return... if they can survive the place." With that, they continued on their way as the man continued to lead them towards an on coming ruins site.

As Nai was the first to notice herself, prior to the man's words, she was more attentive to the area than the mage and shadowknight. "I prefer to call myself the Grim of the reaper... or Reaper's Grim for short... I do not have a true name yet." The man told Nai as she asked for his name with her very small and short powered words.

"Then how about the King known as Korok Makar? Will you strive to take down the man who allowed you to take residence here?" Grim told them as they continued onward, his cloak passing over the bird, when it came out from his cloak, the bones were turned into dust. "We are almost there at the ruins..." He told them as the mist began to get thicker, the group almost being forced to stay together.

Kain sensed the hostile spells that Strife were using. But he felt them fail for the time being. He noticed the elf sisters disappear, not good, Adiel was their only melee oriented fighter. He looked to their Guide appointed to them. He mentioned his title and his question of Korok Makar. Kain thought about it, he only cared if Korok sought peace before a war path. Axiom has seeing lots of death, especially over stupid things. He went on thinking about his past and future of what he wanted to do.
