It sound like you would use fire. But you're an earth element. =w=

Two of the spiders were strocked by Zevrans bullet, falling off from the tree and collapsed to the ground. From their size, it's not that hard to shot them dead. However, one of them took cover from the branch, having the bullets graved through the bark. The spider came out from it's cover and sprinted forward tours Zevrans to ram him with it's horn on it's forehead.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Their attacks with the horn only measure up to a D ranked attack.
Zevran grinned as he saw most of his shots hit, feeling giddy as he saw the large hollowpoint bullets smash through the spiders and kill them, sending tid bits of exoskeletons and large amounts of goo like spider intestines and guts about the area of the fight. The last one hid behind cover before running at Zevran. Zevran felt energy surge through his body and into the ground as he activated the earth trap skill. The earth would harden around the spider's feet before Zevran aimed another shot, aiming to shoot another 10 millimeter bullet through a spider's forehead. He exhaled as he pulled the trigger, confident one shot was all he would need to kill this spider.
Let's just say it's dead. Sorry for the delay so long. You deserve to move on. I have a little present at the waterfall though if you head over there.
                                                    The Djinn's eyes turned up to try and see te sun fo one last time. The frown on his face turned into a scowl as Akeem realized the canopy was too thick around these parts to catch a glimpse of it. He took in a deep breath and pain shot across his face. That meant broken ribs for sure. A part of the man knew that death was close at hand. He had proven to be too weak to surpass the test. He was not as strong as he had thought himself to be. The heavy foot falls of his opponent came closer and closer. Akeem was on his knees already, his arms hanging losely at his side. The wound on his head was bleeding profusely, enough to force him to keep his right eye closed. The skin on his knuckles was almost torn off, and a few fingers on his left hand were actually dislocated. Akeem was pretty sure he was missing a tooth, and his left knee was shot. As the tower of a man approached he looked down at Akeem and spoke in a deep voice. "Any last words?" Akeem shook his head and closed his eyes, resolved to accept his fate. The last thing he heard was the whoosh of air.
                                                    Kranila was the Forest Dominion, home to the elves and many other woodland creatures. It had been years since Akeem last walked on this land. There was a pleasant look on his face in place of his usual frown and serious expression. Mina, the dawn elf, noticed this from her position in the circle. They had been walking all day to make it into this forest and decided to take a break before heading deeper inside. Kevan seemed to be the only one full of energy. As the fire cast surreptitious shadows onto everyone's faces, Kevan spoke loudly over his mug of beer. "And there I was standing beneath the floor, I see right through the cracks! Those boys didn't expect a guy as big as me to be able to move so swift. And all over a pair of nice tits." Kevan roared with laughter and Mina even smiled when she saw Akeem's lips curve in a smirk. She clutched her cup and looked around the campfire. All of their gear was not far off, Russell was busy trying to secure his many tools and machine bits in an effort to keep them from getting stolen. Mina had told Russell of the sort of gremlins and ghouls who enjoyed playing tricks on travelers and passerbys. Perhaps it had been a mistake, the human was incredibly paranoid and restless now. To her right Doral Kyne was sitting with his arms crossed over his chest, the mighty trident of the Mer resting against a nearby tree. He was the one with the scowl, oddly enough. Here in Kranila there was a distinct lack of oceans and seas. The Mer loathed being far from the salt air and beaches. Normally he was a boasting and boisterous fellow, but tonight he was reserved and very quiet. Mina actually preferred this change. Normally Doral was constantly hitting om her, trying to kick it to Mina and trying very hard to get into her pants. But Mina had been reserving those lustful feelings for another.
                                                    Akeem yawned and stretched his body, rolling his shoulders back and popping out his chest. The moon was high in the sky and it was just about time to get some rest. "Alright, let's get some rest. Mina, come take the first watch with me." The elf girl blanched and gave a little squeek of surprise at what he said. She jumped up and waited for Akeem to lead the way. The Djinn walked away from the fire and found a decent sized tree. He bent his knees and pushed off of the ground, his hands clasping around the lowest branch. Akeem hoisted himself up with sheer upper body strength and sat in the tree. He reached a hand down and lifted Mina like she was nothing more than a sack of flour. The Djinn scooted over and made room for Mina. He let his toned legs hang over the branch and swang them freely. He was quiet for a bit, listening to the sounds of nature and the breathing of Mina next to him. "You grew up here? Can you tell me about it? I want to know where you heard the story about the page." Akeem said as he turned his eyes to the sky. Through the leaves you could see hints of the moon shining through.
                                                    Mina could not take her eyes off of Akeem's skin, yet again. She knew he had asked her a question but for some reash her voice was getting caught inside of her throat. It wasn't until Akeem had turned to look at her that she launched into an explanation. "Yes, I did grow up in Kranila. My people aren't exactly what you would call open-minded. They despise the modernity of the world and chose to remain in the days of old. I left because I didn't want to get left behind." She explained softly, keeping her eyes towards the ground. It wouldn't be the first that some night time creatures decided to attack a camp. "But all the elven children grow up with stories. The elves have an origin story for just about everything, from reasons as to why rivers run to the reason that machines are evil. One of those stories was the Witch in the Woods." Mina began, taking a pause to recollect her memories. When she spoke she did so in elvish, knowig the translation would be rough and probably make less sense. Akeem turned to her and listened as he leaned against the trunk of the tree, his hands clasped in his lap. "There was a woman, a widow of a man who had gotten himself killed by machines. She cursed all who chose industry and danger over the safety of the past. After that day there was a rising in the number of attacks in these woods. It is said that the Witch raised her own army of the dead, using dark magic to charm and hex wanderers. Whatever those men and women carried on them became her possessions. There were a number of high priority targets that disappeared in these woods, including their treasures. There's a chance a page may be here, or not." Mina lapsed into silence and looked to see what Akeem was doing. The Djinn had actually fallen asleep. The elf smiled softly and yawned, wondering how she had just gotten so sleepy. A sudden pang of awareness shot through her. "A-Akeem!" The leader of her group began to slump to the side and threatened to fall right out of the tree. Mina shook the sleepiness from her eyes and leaned forward, grabbing the Djinn. She shouted as they fell and tried her best to block his fall with her body. There had been a sharp crack during the fall and Mina knew something was wrong. She pushed Akeem off of her and rolled onto her chest, pushing herself up onto her elbows and groaning with the pain. On the outskirts of her vision she could see shapes running through the camp, tying up the sleeping figures of her comrades. Mina tried to cast a spell but she was just so tired. The feeling of someone next to her had Mina flinching. A hand pushed the hair out of her face and a voice spoke softly. "Sleep now, little elf. All will be over soon enough." Against her will Mina's eyes closed and she was taken by blackness.
                                                    Akeem woke up to the feeling of eyes watching him. He realized he was chained the moment he tried to move. The shake of the chains and the chaffing against his wrist served only to anger the Djinn. He took in a deep breath and raised his head, trying to peer into the darkness and find out where he was being kept. Akeem could make out a soft whimpering, a voice that sounded all too familiar. "Mina? MINA!" He shouted hard enough to strain his throat. "Hush now, the little elf is fine. Though you, you may not be." Some woman's voice seemed to be coming from all around him. Akeem turned left and right and could not find the source. In a blinding flash a dozen or so lights flipped on. It took a moment for Akeem's eyes to adjust but when they did his stomach dropped. He was in the middle of an arena of sorts, chained to a post. All around him were dozens and dozens of undead beings. Skeletons, half decayed men and women staring at Akeem with dead eyes. But there was one lively being, a woman holding a twisted and gnarled staff. "What is this?" Akeem asked harshly, pulling against his manacles harsly. The lady laughed deeply and maniacally, eyeing Akeem like he was some sort of steak on a palte. "Now, I have never had a Djinn before. I've heard tales and wonders of your kind. How you are supposed to be able bodied warriors and the toughest men around. I wonder how true that is?" The woman pointed her staff at Akeem and his bindings snapped. He pushed himself to his feet and ignored the pain shooting through his knee. With hurried steps the Djinn charged forth and leaped into the air, a battlecry tearing from her lips. Akeem made to bring his fists down onto the skull of the woman but he met some invisible force. Akeem fell back to the ground and rolled backward, stopping in a crouching position and a scowl upon his face. "Now now, you're in my home, you play by my rules. Brutus." Another snap of her fingers and the sound of a gate pulling upward made Akeem glance to the left.
                                                    An actual giant ducked beneath the gate, his ugly visage leering at Akeem. The Djinn took a few steps back and bent his knees, entering a ready position. His body was tense, his chest rising and falling steadily. He never went into battle without a clear mind. That was how people died. The giant was covered head to toe with scars from passed battles. There were wicked, jagged wounds clearly made from blades and lesser scars from perhaps magic. Akeem could make out bullet holes and arrow holes dotting his body. The giant had obviously seen his share of fights, and it appeared that he could take a hit. Akeem was much smaller than the giant and probably did not have the same level of strength. There was no way he'd be stupid enough to go toe to toe with the giant. He would have to outclass him with speed. As the giant approached Akeem stood up straight and unleashed his dragon dance. He saw little point in waiting and using silly methods to try and gauge the strength of the giant. Without even moving dozens of attacks began to slam into the giant. He grunted as a series of punches met his chest, ribs, and even face. No matter how many hits he took the giant didn't seem to take any actual damage. And then he suddenly shot forward. Having such a high level of speed was not something the Djinn had anticipated. The giant shot through Akeem's attacks and punched him right in the ribs, lifting him off of the ground and sending him flying through the air. Akeem had heard the crack and gritted his teeth, righting himself in the air and landing lithely on his feet.
                                                    The giant was already barreling his way over to the injured fighter. Akeem had to forcefully shift himself out of the path of the huge man. He raised a knee and pushed off of the ground, driving his leg as hard as he possibly could into the giant's diaphragm. All the giant did was grunt in response. Akeen felt his massive hands close around his leg and he suddenly felt himself being whipped through the air. With swift hands the Djinn wrapped his other leg around the arm of the giant and punched at the man's elbow with all his strength. The djinn shouted in pain as he felt like he punched a wall. But the resounding crack was satisfying. The giant's arm went limp as his elbow dislocated, not even a break. Akeem rolled away and pushed himself to his feet once more, entering a ready position. "Your hits are weaker than a child's Is this the strength of a Djinn?" The giant taunted Akeem, but to no avail. The djinn did not respond, only readied himself for the next onslaught of battle. "I've only been toying with you. I can already see, you are too slow." Confusion passed Akeem's face. Sure the giant was fleet of foot, but Akeem-
                                                    A sudden blast met Akeem's chest. He was launched backward. Akeem was only aware of the agony shooting through his body. He slammed right into the walls of the arena and slumped to the floor. Akeem's body had betrayed him. With every breath he took it felt as if his ribs were trying to pierce his lungs. Blood poured from his head freely, dotting the sand a shade of deep red. Akeem groaned as he felt himself lifted into the air. The giant laughed and tossed him like a rag doll. His body fell to the floor harshly and slumped over. "Get up little man, it is time to die!" The giant lifted Akeem by his vest and planted him on his knees. The djinn's arms hung limply by his sides and his head rolled back. He was barely staying conscious at this point. "Any last words." Akeem managed to shake his head and close his eyes. He had lost a battle, and deserved whatever fate was heading his way. The whoosh of air was the last thing he heard.
                                                    "Akeem!" Mina's voice cut through the air like a knife. Akeem's eyes suddenly shot open and he saw a lot happen at once. Mina, Kevan, and Russell were in the arena as well. Doral was standing near them with a smile on his face. The Witch of the Woods was laying limp in his arms, blood dripping down her chest. There was a lot of chaos happening right about now. The stands were in flames and all of the undead creatures were sitting there, baking. Akeem turned back in time to see the Giant's fist flying towards him. A burst of resolve entered him and Akeem tapped into a wish. The Giant's strike missed by only a few inches, and Akeem flew through the air like he had been shot from a gun. He grappled the giant and dug his thumbs right into the giant's eyes. With his legs wrapped around his opponent Akeem surged forth a burst of energy. The giant began to scream and convulse as every bone in his body suddenly turned into nothingness. The giant crumbled to the floor and Akeem squeezed hard enough to shatter his skull. And then there was silence.
                                                    Mina rushed over to Akeem and slid across the sand, catching the man in her arms. She immediately began to push her healing powers over him, starting with his broken limbs and ribs. The ragtag group of companions surrounded Akeem, Kevan holding a decorated chest in his arms. "Wh-what happened?" Akeem wheezed out, his face screwed up in pain. Mina shushed him and took more of his weight onto her body. Doral cleared his throat and stepped forward. "You see, Akeem. Doral was never captured. Doral had a sudden desire to take a swim so when the Witch came she did not manage to collect Doral. All he had to do was follow her back to her lair. Doral saw Mina, the mech man, and Kevan tied up. So he snuck up behind the Witch and stuck his trident through her heart. Doral freed the others, and now we have her treasure. Good news, it even has a page!" Doral said with a grin and rather boisterously. "That's good, I think I will rest for a bit." Akeem said as he suddenly passed out. Kevan gave Russell the chest and lifted the Djinn across his shoulders. The merry band of misfits made their exit and let the Witch burn in her own mass of madness.
