Holy crap I LUFF this thread. It's SO funny, I was cracking up and my little brother goes, "What's so funny you laughing?" And it made me laugh even more.
This is just a mishearing...but it's not perverted. In maquerade it goes:
Actual: You can fool any friend who ever knew you
What I heard: You can fool any friend or enemy
I know it's not even funny...but that's the only mishearing I can remember. I know there were a ton more, but I don't remember them after watching the movie with subtitles. I'll have to watch it again and see if I can find any.
But I also agree that the songs are all ready dirty enough!

You slay me. xd I heard that too, and when my two-bit weedwhacker mind paired that with the missing stockings thing...well, you get the picture. Also: at the end, when THEPHANTOM! goes, "This fate which condemns me to wallow in blood (or something to that effect) has also denied me the joys of the flesh," I freaked. "DID HE GET CASTRATED?! Was he born without a-!?" At which point my friend slapped her hand over my mouth. redface Didn't anyone else get that out of that little sentence thing? I did.... O.O I got scared big time. I am a Phantom fan girl over here and I am listening to the sountrack right now and I was giggling over that damn masquerade thing... my mom looked at me like this... O.O I was giggling so much it was terrible.

Zelda3391 OK. Masquerade. Coffee Break! People's latte's on parade! Coffee Break! Take a whiff of the flavors that surround you! OK, those really weren't misheard. My friends and I are making a spoof of phantom and that's going to be our lyrics for Masquerade. It's going to be done at a coffee shop. How about "Cups of latte on a plate" instead of the second line? It rhymes better. But don't mind me. I can't listen to Masquerade now without hearing, "MASTURBAAAATE!!!!" gonk

DX Oh my god! I heard that part wrong, too! I REALLY thought Crawford said, "What woman's spoken secrets will we learn."
This doesn't make sense for two reasons.
1.) Why are they secrets if spoken?
2.) If she said them, and you knew, how could you possibly LEARN them?
