Alexis eyes widened a bit, but closed. She was blushing a bit. But she let go of his sleeve. "It's your choice if you want to leave or not," she said quietly. Alexis looked at Ilroche weakly, and saw his face was a light pink. She smiled for a second, but then looked away.

"I'm a son of Apollo," Jaxx grinned. "Which means I'm into music and archery and stuff." He scrutinized Rayne. "You're right, you look nothing like your siblings. You're much better looking than any of them." He threw her a wink.

Jaxx snorted. "Makeup is so overrated. You look perfectly fine without it. Completely georgeous actually." He laughed. "I might ask you out if I wasn't stuck in this bed for who knows how long."

Jaxx was feeling a little better. He could actually sit up without too much pain now but he greatly doubted he could walk yet or stand up even.

Jaxx felt a hint of blush touch his cheeks. "Uh, yah, you do have me. I'll do whatever I can to protect you if you want me to." He smiled crookedly and ran his fingers through his blond hair.

"I don't know. I'm pretty sure I could throw my knife quite well still. I wouldn't need to get out of bed to do that." Jaxx reached down to touch the handle of his precious knife where it was strapped around his waist. "You're probably right though. I've never heard of the infirmiry being attacked."

Jaxx stretched. "I'm feeling much better. I've been using my newly discovered healing power on myself. Apparently it's been working."

He wondered what the wound looked like now. In one swift movement he tugged his shirt over his head so that he could better examine the place he'd been stabbed by that blasted son of Hades. His skin was completely smooth. Only a persistant ache reminded him that he'd been injured.

Jaxx stared in wonder. Not long ago he thought he'd bleed to death and now there was no visible evidence of what should have left a permanent mark.

"I thought I'd at least get a scar out of all this. Guess not. It's too bad. I heard girls are usually impressed by scars." Jaxx laughed looking over at Rayne.

Ilrochè mirrored her silence until she broke it. He shrugged and smiled slightly. "It was no problem. I for sure wasn't going to just leave you there to die."
You should have... I can sense where this is headed... Turn back now or I will kill this girl. You are becoming fond of her far too quickly. You shouldn't have even talked to-
Shut up. He told his other side before it could continue. Ilrochè knew his other half was right. Love is always a bad idea, but what was the small burning feeling in his heart? Could it be love?
Probably not, he convinced himself. After all they were just friends, right?

Ilrochè smiled grimly. "Death is a small matter to me. I hear and think about it all the time. My father, being who he is, doesn't help much."
