Leon saw karou in the distance. He ran over still not shaking her. "Karou...help..." He looked at him full ofpanick.

Kaoru turned to see Leon he sighed. "I think its ironic that when ever something happens, I find you both at the root of the issue." He was calm and wearing a small smile as he reached into his pocket. "You're lucky I come prepared for this kind of thing." Rei looked at Leon worriedly before looking toward Kaoru. "You can put me down now, Leon." She wanted to reassure him more than anything at this point that it wasn't his fault for the events that occurred.

Leon gently set her down. He took three steps back and stared at the ground waiting for her to be healed.

Kaoru pulled a 5X7 strip of paper out of his pocket as he knelt next to Rei. "Leon, I would like to have a word with you later, if that's alright." He said with a smile before examining her wounds. He slid the paper between the shoulder blades and pushed against her back with his palm. "Sit tight for a minute." Kaoru said before walking over to Leon. Rei cringed as the force was applied to her back. Once Kaoru stood up she turned to watch the two speak, they had moved out of her hearing range. ((Sorry bout the wait, its hard to type with one hand sweatdrop ))

Leon frowned. "That's all? Will she be okay?" He looked down hating himself. He blamed himself.

Kaoru looked at him with a careful gaze. "Yes, that's it. I used to study back home about different incantations that can be inscribed inside those strips of paper. They seal some of the effects from the vetala, at least for an amount of time." He glanced over to Rei to make sure she was still in the same spot. "Anyways I wanted to talk to you, Leon, about yourself."

Leon looked down. "Theres nothing to talk about. I'm never using ice again and I'm not leaving until she eventually hates me." He sighed.

Kaoru couldn't help but laugh at Leon's words, he sighed and looked down shaking his head. "Then you're in for a long wait, Rei isn't one to hate others, ever. She may say it once or twice but most of the time she's asking others not to hate her." He looked at Leon straight forward. "You may not see it, but you are worth more than you've priced yourself as. Many envy you because you have something that they don't, more than one thing as well." He smiled toward the sky.

Leon looked up confused. "I.. I don't know what you mean...." He looked at him confused. "I have her.. which is dangerous for me.. what if i hurt her?" He looked at him.

Kaoru let a prolonged sigh escape him as he put both of his hands into his pockets. "You have a heart that is burdened with questions. 'What if this' or 'What if that', so what if something does happen that's life." He looked back at Leon. "The worst pain you could ever bring the people around you is leave without a good reason, trust me, you have no idea." Kaoru returned his gaze at the clouds in the sky. "Try living for once, instead of worrying."

Leon looked down. "I am living when im with her. That's the only time im happy but...I shouldn't be with her. Can you heal her?" Leon sighed and walked back over to her. "I'm gonna go walk down by the river. Can you find me when your healed?" He spoke in a soft sighed as he left for the river.

Kaoru sighed as he nodded to Leon, respecting that he was willing to talk for at least a little bit. "Ok, just don't do anything too reckless." He said before heading over to Rei again. Rei smiled at him slightly. "I will find you by the river." She replied to him watching him walk away as Kaoru knelt next to her. Just don't do anything you'll regret. She thought to herself, wondering why he wanted to go to the river.

leon soon found the river and leaned up against a tree near by it. His favorite place was a river but also the most dangerous. When he lost control he would use all the water in the river if he could.

Kaoru placed a an open palm over the paper he had earlier put over her injuries. "Once I'm finished, don't use your powers for 24 hours, got it? You know what will happen if you risk it." He uses his energy to force the incantations written on the paper into her wounds, it would heal them almost instantaneously. Rei cringed once Kaoru began the process but her expression relaxed again when he finished. "I know, but 24 hours is so long from now." She pleaded moving her arms to make sure they stretched properly before she stood. "I'll see you later, Kaoru." Rei then headed out toward he river to meet up with Leon.

Leon looked over the river. "It woudl be so easy to just jump in a nd be frozen forever..." He sighed as ice flowed up his legs before melting and sliding back into the river. His legs were in the river as he sat sighing.
