April heard the door open and she turned to see who it was. it wan't anyone she knew. The school was huge, there was a slim chance she would see a familiar face. She looked at the girl walk over to a table by herself. She had a book with her with reading glassing, seeming like she came her to get a good read. But her area was looking around as if she was looking for someone. or maybe the place. April wouldn't know. She sat on the table, wanting to see what book it was. She couldn't see it from there. She didn't realize she was staring at the girl, still waiting foe Miki's reply

Arctic said taking the hint that she didn't give the answer, what he thought was kind of cute.
He then pushed his melting tea to the side as he was done with it.

"I haven't really thought about it much. I never even thought I'd attend a school for the magickally inclined. I always just thought I'd live with my dad and brother my whole life. And, I guess I'm okay with that. They're really the only men that I need in my life. Though...." She trailed off, finishing her sentence in her thoughts. I wouldn't mind letting another man into my life. When the time was right. She smiled, imagining her brother's words in her mind. "If I ever catch a boy within even two inches of you, he better have a very valid reason. If not, we're going to have a very rough chat about personal space and respect for my baby sister." She let out a small laugh. It wasn't very funny to people who weren't there, but it was to her. Her brother was only ten when he said that, and even though he tried to sound tough, even their father said that the squeaky little boy voice didn't really help him much. "Sorry about that. " Umm , only if you tell me about yourself ,"she replied , trying to sound like she was joking . She wasn't sure how well it came off , she usually wasn't too talented in the jokes department . She wondered what she should tell him , what she could tell him . Sure , she could tell him all about her life , her childhood . But it would be long and dull , not to mention painful to recite . What were the basics of that kind of thing anyway ? Like , was she supposed to say where she grew up , where she'd gone to school before Fuyu , admit her power , or explain how or why she'd come to the Academy ? Confusing indeed ." Erm , well , I'm pretty average . . ."she started weakly . "I was born in eastern Japan , and . . . I've always had my ability , so it's not really new , though it did cause . . . some problems . . . occasionally . . ." Arctic smiled nodded as she talked, he liked hearing that she had such loving relationship with her family.
"Uhhh I see. To be honest Yvonne i'm kind of jealous of your life, i've never felt love from my parents. I think they just view me as a thing. But i'm still grateful to them. "
He said as he continued to smile not wanting any sympathy, he knew thats just life works.

Jin smiled as he sipped his tea. "Sounds to me like your life was better then mine. I hope you have a tissue at hand cause my story is a bit of a sob story. You see, I grew up in a small village outside of a major city. I don't remember which city it was I just know it was big. I live happily with my family occasionally talking to the dead or starting small fires by mistake. It was not until one day, when my father had brought home an artifact that I had no idea what it did, that I lost it all. Not just my family but my whole village. I lost everything to a band of raiders who wanted the artifact. Turns out the artifact can destroy cities. I came here so I can learn to master my abilities and hopefully get revenge on the men who killed my family. I can still see everything in my head. The look on my father's face as the leader raped my mother and my 12 year old sister then killed them before he ended my father. I don't know how I survived but I did. Not a day goes by when I don't think of what could have happened if my father had never found that artifact. But enough about my past, what do you say we order something to eat. Excuse me, waiter?" He called out as he snapped his fingers. "Sorry if I made you feel so low right now. The only thing I ask you not to do is to feel sorry for me." (ooc: it's alright)

But, she knew that a lot of people weren't looking for sympathy or anything when they said things like that, so she stayed quiet. "My family was all I had. Well, we're all we had. Daddy wasn't very popular with the neighbors because he was kind of...ill-humored. Liked to make jokes during a horrible situation, and my brother....Well, he has an interest in other boys rather than girls, so that tended to put people off...." She smiled, looking up at Arctic. "He'd like you a lot. Accents are his weak point, and you're the first guy that hasn't, how did he say....'Put a move' on me? I don't know....I'm not good with intimate terms."[[ OoC: ]]

Arctic fell over laughing when she Yvonne him that her would like him a lot.
"Your brother wouldn't be the first."
He said as he tried to stop laughing as a tear ran down his face. He still remembered when other boys tried to hit on him when he was in all boy schools.
"I don't know how to reply to that, i'm flattered that you think so but i'm not into guys."
He snickered

"Oh - sure . I'm kinda hungry , what about you . . .?" She didn't know what Jin usually ate , or what the cafe even had to offer , so she glanced up at the menu . Food - wise , there were cookies , cake , chocolate , cheesecake , popcorn , and ice cream . That's strange . . . . A 'Coffee Cafe' , but no coffee ? she thought , amused by the oddness . An awkward silence had fallen between them , she did her best to keep the conversation going . "So . . . What did you do after . . . that ?" she asked the boy , mildly interested . The silver - haired teen always did love a good story . ♬

Arctic said with a wolfish smile dropping his German accent and swapping it with an American one.
While in middle school he learned how to do multiple accents.

 Miki's shrugged. "Well, it's not like my mom was psychic or something", she said, sipping some coffee. "It's actually because back then, I always loved pulling pranks so she thought this was a good gift for me", she said, putting the plastic back in her bag. "Hm, maybe I can learn to make a powder that will make you bigger", Miki said, thinking about it.

April smiled at Miki, "You a little prankster?" she giggled. "I never would have guessed." she told Miki before taking a bite and finishing up her donut. She smiled a little before thinking about it. "i hope you have a test subject thought." she told Miki and laughed a little. She looked at her coffee and took a sip again. She shook her head, "I'm sorry, "Do you want to finish my?" she asked. She just didn't like the taste of coffee.

Miki nodded. "I love pranks", she said, giggling. "Except when I'm the one being pranked", she added. She finished her donut and coffee then finished up April's. "It's alright", she said, paying for them. "So where do we go now?"
