The crobats release the man, dispersing as the shadowball hit the man instead of the target. As if hearing some unheard call, the crobat quickly return to the copter as it flies away.
However, there's no time to pay attention to that, THE MAN IS FALLING FROM TEN FEET IN THE AIR.

 Robin woke up!
Robin shook his head, trying to clear it. What had happened? The Crobats had hit him with an attack, and Etna, too, by the looks of it. She was struggling to right herself just as he was.
No! The Crobats had almost made off with the mysterious man!
"Etna, Screech again!" If the Crobats dropped the man, they could always catch him, right?

Oyumi was up! Rhia didn't bother looking, content to hear her friend's voice. The Shadowball that took out the other Crobat was a good sign that her Mewtwo was awake as well.
Suddenly the man was plummeting and Rhia pointed in a panic, knowing she could do nothing, and neither, really, could Castor. "Oyumi!"

Fuutarou was quick to rush to the man's aid as the attack dispersed the Crobat. He may not have been a flying type, but he could levitate high enough to safely catch the man in midair.

The man was falling, the man was falling – and an Onix would not be a great thing to land on. Robin and Etna could do nothing to help.
"Someone catch him!" the man yelled frantically.
