Does it make of of a difference? Not much really changed in those 15 years, aside from the war
If it's convenient for you though, then go ahead

It'd probably be easier on my sanity.

Okay we'll be using a Simiyiar-class Light Freighter, can carry up to 8 passengers plus 2 crew without modification. Modifications include a full medical bay with bacta tank... fuel converters... workshop... extended range...
All of which lowers cargo capacity... not that cargo capacity matters that much for an explore ship. There will also be a collapsible dingy and a number of speeder bikes for transit once landed on a world.

And note, that in the course of the roleplay, we will require an upgrade in terms of ship, so those of you worried it's too small, don't fret

We will, or we might? Because size isn't everything, contrary to what may be perceived.

Of course it's not. Watching the last few minutes of the Battle of Yavin will tell you that. Or the Battle of Endor.
But with what I have planned, a small freighter probably won't be enough.

So I'm assuming we're gearing for war, or trying to transport a bantha? Because those are probably the only two things that's going to require a bigger ship.

I'd be willing to play the jedi adviser, probably consular or sentinel build of about early Knight Level or skilled Padawan. Part of the Exploration Corps which is in a state of re-founding.
I'm thinking Kiffar, late 20s or early 30s. Jedi/Scout build for you familiar with Saga.

Sentinel would be ideal. Good all-around, but no real expertise in any one field

Its either the rough outdoorsy Sentinel, or an organized, book-type Consular, probably with a good amount of medical training and Healing Force abilities... Think Stephen from Master & Commander.
Pushing for the Sentinel though.

I'd hope the ship's doctor is well enough trained to double as a science officer. Trust me, it's important.
EK... if you've got a plan for the RP... please PM me with it. If I'm GMing I kind of need to know.

It's your character Des. Just know that your character is going mainly as an observer, just to watch us do our job.
Like Stephen. You have your uses, and as a crewmember, you have some value.
