Alpha: Dinner With Friends User Image

Sophia brightened as Antonio sat down, and sometime into the appetizer came Shandra and her attitude was completely chipper… Raine still hadn’t arrived, but Sophie held…Girlish thoughts about that. Similar to what she thought about Antonio and Shandra. Wouldn’t it be romantic if they found something just perfect in the store and got into a wonderful conversation about it? She liked the idea of romance too much—Liked it for others. Because it seemed to make them endlessly happy when it panned it… It wasn’t something she really saw for herself.

She just wasn’t…Good at it. Good at judging… She’d dated abit back home… But it had been a kind of date where the boy said good night at the door step with a peck on the cheek, and they held hands at lunch…Passed notes in class. It had taken a lot of her mothers harlequin novels for her to understand there was more to dating than that… Well, more to relationships to that. She never dared ask her mother anymore… But girls talked… At great length… So she knew things. Some things…

But even the littlest thing still made her blush cherry apple red.

She nibbled on this and that, the strange fruit on the appetizer platter making her eyes widen. She was 98% sure that several dark items were grilled octopus tentacles rolled to look like a cinnamon bun. At least they had something that reminded her of potato’s with cheese…Although with an odd sauce on it. She didn’t mind it—But while they waited for Raine, it was something to munch on.

She smiled when Shandra spoke, nodding her head happily. “Ah love to shop Mlle Shandra…Ah really didn’t bring any sunglasses…Or anything to dressy to wear. Ah just didn’t think we’d be doing anything other than…Laying on the beach. It sounded so good at the time… We were all so stressed out…Ah just wanted to sleep for another week…”

“Ah’m not good at thinking ahead…”
, she breathed, for some reason apologetic for this. She sipped at her tea mindlessly, noting the far away look on Christian’s face for a moment. Briefly she wondered what he was thinking… Or why he had been looking in her direction, with such an expression… But for as well as she knew him… She didn’t pry when it came to his mannerisms and private thoughts. He was just…One of those people, that if he wanted her to know, he would tell her.

Her eyes caught his for a scant moment, and she smiled, trying to reassure him of whatever he might be thinking that would cause him such silence. Usually he was so alert-- A hunter. He rarely spaced out—Not like she did.

She looked at Antonio with an impressed grin as he mentioned he was a performer, her eyes going back to the man twisting and twirling among flame in the center of the out door area. “That’s amazing… What kinds of things could you do? Can you do?”

“Ah was the May Queen once back home… Ah’m not really sure how that happened…”
, she blushed, “But that’s as interesting as Ah get…”

She shifted slightly... Glancing curiously at the water Shandra drank. Was she really not hungry? Sofia felt bad... If she didn't like the food, they really could go somewhere else... It wasn't a big deal.

Omega - Outdoor Scrounging, Makes Good Home Cooking... Kinda...

Carlos accepted Evie's answer, though not exactly what he wanted to hear. He knew better and respected Evie too much to argue on her standing. Her words didn't meet deaf ears, they were just less inspirational at the moment then she might have hoped. She changed the subject to his construction of his temporary shelter. A faint smirk would have normally crossed his lips in receiving a compliment but instead he let what little of false amusement he could muster come out in his speech. At least he was trying to show he took it well, but with that numbness there he was realizing how difficult it was to even fake a smile let alone anything else.

" You'd be surprised how easy and fast you learn when you have to camp for three years while learning modern tradition of a warrior people. Took about an hour, thirty dollars for a knife that wasn't even sharp. By evening I was gonna make a spear, try and see if the fish are good out here. Make a fire, flay it. Boil some sea water and extract salt, and drinking water. Mix with some fruit. Not the tasteful of meals, but better then tasteless goop. If your so adventuress by then maybe roast a few insects. Crickets aren't bad. Ask Bella. She doesn't like the texture, but once she closed her eyes and got around her gag reflex she doesn't hesitate to have one... much."

He couldn't help but bring up something fond of Bella that might embarrass her in the future. She had as much leverage in some cases. Should also keep her humble considering the way she starts to carry herself at times. He drummed his fingers on his bare chest for moment before considering other topics for his survival plan out here. He didn't have pot for boiling but he could make one with some time and a really hot fire. Charred Coconut shells dried and hardened wouldn't disintegrate to boil water. Inevitably though he would go into town maybe pick up a few things. He wasn't out here to test his survival skills, and if Evie was going to join him now and again He was going to be properly prepared for the company.

" since the Mansion was totaled my stash of narcotic and poisonous goodies was lost and probably ruined. Might as well hunt for things to restock. Jelly fish have a nice sting. Makes a nice relaxant if mixed with certain plants. Rock fish, sting ray. Was hard getting those in a jungle... Sea snake won't be getting anytime real soon.". There was a small sense of frustration for him when he realized how many things he had lost. He could restock some of what he had in a single trip to Wal-mart's spice isle but that would still only account for five percent of what he had, and didn't really count towards his most exotic ingredients. He wasn't going to be making any special tea blends any time soon for some time.

He glanced over at Evie, then propped himself up on his elbows looking out the entrance towards the water. The sun was too bright for his liking. That might be a byproduct of his powers, but it bothered him none the less. He wouldn't go back to sleep with such energy as Evie's around, and he really didn't need to. He suppressed a sigh as he sat completely up and looked at Evie. " So what from my menu of creepy crawly, squirmy wiggly, survival menu would you like to try first if your staying for dinner?"

Forellen nodded at Petra when asked if she were French. ” Oui je suis français. J'ai habité à Paris. J'ai pu ne pas vous avoir vu modeler bien que ma mère pourrait avoir. Elle avait l'habitude d'aller chez la plupart des grands défilés de mode qui ont été tenus.” She said with a nod. Forellen had only been to one of two shows but couldn’t recall seeing Petra at any of them. Her mother would know more since she went to most of them. Forellen came out of that thoughtful pause and nodded to Maddy whom had just joined them. ”Hello.” She said and then looked at Narcissa. ”Alright.” She could work with Petra on her English easily enough they had plenty of time to work on it while on vacation. English wasn’t as hard a language to learn as some of the others she had encountered.

Forellen yelped as she got a face full of sand compliments, or nor, of Eli the words that came out of the usually delicate and refined Omega were not polite. Having sand unexpectedly flung in one’s eyes stung. Eli had serious payback on its way as soon as Forellen got her hands on him. She wouldn’t hurt him of course but he would spend the rest of the night hugging the toilet. Isabella was fast to intervene on his behalf and with some words between them Narcissa turned and swept back to the condo as Forellen shook the sand from her towel with a slight frown. A bonfire? That would be nice. ”Alright I’ll let them know!” She called back at Narcissa retreating back with a wave.

Well since both Narcissa and Kerrigan had gone off on their own separate missions that left Forellen, Petra and Maddy behind. ”So what do you ladies want to do? Like Petra mentioned we have four water guns and an ocean full of water. Let’s go enjoy ourselves shall we?” She offered with a smile.

Omega - Beach - ...you lost the game.

These were the type of people she had always hated. the immature dumb asses who got shits and giggles out of messing with others. Even worse was that it was a boy going after a group of the Omega girls. What did he expect to get out of that, a blush and a "Omg, he's so rouge, we should love him!!!1!"? Honestly.

It was almost without thinking that one of her small, purple blades formed in her fist, but, as Kerrigan rushed off after the perpetrator, it disappeared. Breathing in and looking at Narcissa, she shook her head. The aforementioned was fuming-- quite literally. Honestly, if Maddy hung around this girl too much she might just become her. she was a pessimist as it was, her sadism didn't need to be boosted more. She would have to have Betsy mind-wipe her then... even still, she smirked as she watched the glass ball smack Eli in the back.

Maddy had wet sand caked onto her upper leg and side stomache. she acted as if she was brushing it off as she tried to listen in on Narcissa telling Isabella off. She would just have to jump back in the water to get it off as it were. When die Führeren returned, barking orders, she rolled her eyes to herself and threw up her hands defensively. Even if it was Narcissa, she didn't enjoy being snapped at.

She dumped her towel in the sand and jogged not too deep into the water-- just deep enough to crouch and get the Alpha's sand off. she came back out, pushed by waves and scooped up her towel to follow Forellen and Petra.

"Well, to be quite honest I'd rather not go on the side of practical jokes, if that's what you're thinking. I've had enough of of those, but I suppose I'll just do whatever you two want." She felt a little awkward around the new Russian. The only Russian she knew was a few lines from the Soviet national anthem and 'student'. She remembered even less French from middle school.

As he was flying, dodging bystanders, Wilbur noticed that Eli had gotten ahead of him. He guessed that he was being more cautious than Eli. Fine; no more games. Wilbur picked up his speed and streamlined his body. He ducked past two or three people who were still confused from the last teenager speeding by them. One particularly large man threw Wilbur off guard. He tucked his legs up to his chest in hopes of swirling around. By chance, the guy threw himself to the ground and as Wilbur turned his head to check and see if he was alright, he saw a boy (Leion), around his age thrust himself in Wilbur’s direction.

Was this kid crazy? Wilbur stretched out and tried to spin himself in the air, out of the way, but the guy moved too fast.
He collided with the other teenager, and fell to the ground, the wind gone from his chest. He coughed up sand he swallowed on the way down. He couldn’t decide if he wanted to just stay on the ground or try and get up. He didn’t see the other guy, he might have knocked him somewhere far away. Hopefully, he was a mutant; a resilient mutant. He was the same age, so it was a possibility. If it were a human, Wilbur could’ve killed him. He became suddenly worried and scrambled to find the other kid.

“Hey!”
Wilbur called, still trying to get a decent breath. “Are you alright? What the hell were you thinking with that? I could’ve killed you!” He spoke fast and in labored breaths. He helped the other guy up.

“I don’t know if we met already, but I think you’re like me.” He looked ahead to see if he could see Eli, but, the other mutant was quickly going out of view. “Ah…looks like I’m gonna lose this race.” He looked back at his roadblock. “I’m Wilbur. I fly, that’s about it. I’m an Alpha. I'm 19.” He put his hand up to his head. “I need to sit down.” He slumped to the ground face first.

“No worries, I’m still conscious, just…injured.”
He almost slipped into unconsciousness, until he heard a shrill scream, and then a few angry sounding girls. His eyes opened and scanned the beach. He sat up when he saw the last bit of sand falling to the ground and Eli zipping away. He must not have saw Wilbur’s crash. The girls were his new team captain, and a few other girls, one looked particularly steamed. He stood up when one of the girls grabbed a skimboard and took off after Eli. At least he would get what he deserved.

“I almost beat him. Next time I’m not gonna pay attention. Just gonna go.” Wilbur tried not to look too upset that he lost, he couldn’t let a guy like Eli have that kind of ego boost. Wilbur would probably hear about this one forever. “Well, now that I’ve officially lost: who are you?”

Alpha: Squirmy wormies

Carlos was going to be interesting. Part of her was getting frustrated because she was having a harder time reading him than usual. It wasn't so much frustrated with him, but frustrated with her inability to do what she normally does. She shrugged it off almost as instantly as the thought came. It didn't matter what she observed. It didn't matter in the slightest.

She smirked for him when he had a hard time trying to convey anything feeling and said with a bit of her own humor, " 'los, you seem disappointed I didn't give you a speech. I very well could if you really want one."

Standing up she walked over to the entrance blocking the sun coming through with her own silhouette. Knowing Carlos' power and reasoning that it is harder to control, she assumed the sun beaming through was a bit harsh. Besides, she wanted the warmth at the moment. The chill she was used to from him seemed doubled and she wasn't sure if she was imagining it or not. Her senses since having her genetic corrected felt more sensitive in the past.

"I'd love to say for dinner, but don't sound so pained by my company," She laughed so he knew she was joking and not picking at him. Putting her fingers around the edge of the door, she wondered how strong it was. Doorways always made her want swing for some reason. Deciding not to risk it, she looked back over her shoulder, "Surprise me, Carlos. I haven't had a good surprise in awhile. And as long as a spider doesn't show up on my plate, I'll try anything at least once."

Her eyes scanned back over the horizon and the calm of the deserted beach. She wondered what Bella and Gideon were up to. Her comm hadn't gone off so she probably wasn't missing much. Although the more she thought about it as she stared back at the water was she still missed Reikon the most. Being around the team made her remember that as much as she wanted to be around her friends. There was a person missing and it was going to take time to get used to. Realizing she was going to put herself in a mood if she kept up that line of though, she looked back over her shoulder.

"When you're ready... if you want to... tell me what happened the last two months," She laid the offer out there but didn't expect him to actually take it. These things were hard enough. Recounting them wasn't always fun but sometimes they were therapeutic, "All I know is whispers and I never call a game of Chinese telephone reliable."

Ω+M+ε+G+α⌡- If Pain was the prize, I guess I'm the winner

User Image It would seem that Leion guessed wrong, judging by the sudden pain of another body colliding with the left side of his ribs. Luckily he seemed to have matched the other boy's speed and prevented the worst from happening, the worst in this case being broken shards of his ribs piercing his innards, but it seemed that he had still cracked a rib. . . or three.

"I should be fine, if I rest and don't move my ribs for awhile" Leion replied to the initial quick paced question. How someone could talk that fast after a collision like that was beyond him.

He accepted the help that Wilbur, as he introduced himself, offered while speaking very fast before falling over himself. "You. . .okay?" Leion asked between a heavy fit of coughing. Wilbur replied quickly and shortly after Leion asked.

Leion laughed at the comments Wilbur was making about his own race before clutching his side and coughing again. It was then that he asked for Leion's introduction, "Well for starters, . . . that was an accident." Another bout of coughing "I'm Leion, 17, . . . an Omega, and I . . . manipulate energy" constant pain surged through his ribs, but it was his own fault and he hoped that his teammates wouldn't get the wrong idea.

"I was hoping to get out of your way, but it looks like I chose the wrong way" he made a small coughing laugh, though the Alpha seemed a bit fast paced he didn't seem like an idiot, just a bit like the type to get caught up in the moment. Hopefully he wouldn't turn out to be one of those complete group-set people, sure Leion only hung around Omegas, but that because not many of the Alphas interested him.

Alpha - Cops and Robbers?
User Image
Eli stopped realizing that his opponent wasn't behind him, nor at his side. He looked forward, and no one was flying in front of him. He turned his head and looked, noticing that Wilbur was talking to another boy, (Leion) whom he had collided with.

Suddenly Eli hissed and gritted his teeth tightly as something had pelted him, just below his shoulder blade. "God damn... thank god for the wetsuit." He muttered to himself. Stinging pain focused into a small location. He slid his hand down to his lower back and the zipper at the top of his wetsuit slid down towards his hand and he slid the shoulders of the wetsuit off slightly to see if he could see where he was hit. It was too far down his back, he rubbed the spot and already a tiny welt was forming.

His gaze turned to the direction of the attacker. The only possible person was the red head (Kerrigan), she was in the group of girls that he hand sprayed with sand. That, and she was also the only person not really moving about, plus, she was staring in his direction. A smirk spread across Eli's face and he knelt down undoing the straps around his ankles. He got his hand ready, forming it into the shape of the kindergarten style gun. Index and middle finger pointed out, and the thumb in the air. As soon as he was unstrapped he turned and aimed it at Kerrigan, only to realize his steel BB's were in his soaked shorts that he had left on the beach.

"Well that's no good." He thought to himself as he picked up his board and disappeared into the crowds of people easing his way in and out around them. "I suppose this could be fun if she chased me, it'd be like cops and robbers, but, are we really that childish?" He continued to muse as he weaved his way back to Wilbur and Leion. "I hope she is, it'll be fun. He thought. His thoughts continued as the space between him and his flying opponent closed. What metal could he use? How could he remain hidden in the crowd? After all, he's the only guy with a wetsuit, the only ones with wetsuits on didn't have any kind of board, but snorkel gear.

He took the wetsuit off and continued forth in his swim trunks. "Hey guys, how you doing?" He asked Wilbur and Leion, while scanning for Kerrigan. How was he going to retaliate if she continued to hunt him?

Iron. Iron in the sand. He started moving his wrist in a circular pattern and little black fragments of iron began to make small round pellets.

Collecting about four or five of them, he formed the gun hand gesture again, but pinned one of the iron pellets between his index and thumb, ready if Kerrigan continued the search.

"Wilbur, we're gonna have to race again. Next time, open straight land, no obstacles. Well, no living ones at least, I can't accept a victory where it wasn't my own doing that brought it to be." He said with a slight smirk.

Finishing his scan, he found Kerrigan's red hair. And his gaze would only leave her for a moment to respond to Leion and Wilbur.

Extending his hand blindly to Wilbur "I suppose formal introductions are in order, I'm Elliot, you can call me Eli if you want, pleased to meet you both." He turned his head from Kerrigan to Wilbur, and then to Leion, "Sorry our meeting is at the result of an accident, what's your name?"

User ImageOmega: Accents Not Welcome

She already knew by reputation that Narcissa was not an easy leader to get along with, but she also knew that by reputation she was a leader who got the job done. Petra simply rolled her eyes when Narcissa walked away having said nothing about the deep hint that her lack of English wasn't welcome. Too bad. That was how Petra felt. She spoke how she spoke. She was only two years removed from Europe. English was her third language and it would get there.

Petra felt the disturbance in the metals in the ground under her feat as Wilbur decided to pull his stunt. Instinctively Petra willed a shield across her eyes coming from the metal necklaces she was wearing. The metal moved up her face like it were alive and blocked her face from the sand spray. As soon as it died down, she willed the metal back around her neck as if nothing had happened.

"Vell, dat was mature. Did not know Scott put... eh, children on teams," Petra said rather loudly had hoped the kid games were done when she left her team at the Institute. She also lived by code to not use her powers against other X-Men so she wasn't planning on going after the "boy" because if she started pulling metal out of the ground, objects, or pockets... things weren't going to be pretty.

Watching Narcissa walk off she looked at her two teammates, "Bad time for Ms. Frost to send us to her. New faces are last thing she vants."

She listened to Maddy and understood her meaning. She may not have spoken English perfectly, but she understood it quite well. Maybe getting back at them with practical jokes wasn't the best thing to do. She was quite annoyed now on the beach and would rather take leave.

"Vould you two like to go.. get food? My treat, yes? I am new, vould like to treat new friend.... even if would like to destroy dat boy."

Vallon watched as the volleyball game winded down and everyone went their separate ways, he decided to just relax as he watched everyone it was good to be around all his friends again and he could tell everyone was glad to be back although a few seemed angry at others already. Vallon walked into the water to stay out of the sun so as not to burn as he watched everything. Maddy,Kerrigan, the new girl, and Forellen all stood together and seemed to be chatting. Vallon noticed quite a few new people showing up he would have introduced himself but he wated to get a feel on their personalities first. The new Flyer seemed to be chatting with Hoshi and then started to race The other new kid(Eli)

Vallon grinned watching them until Eli decided to shoot sand at the Omega girls, he felt his arm transform under the water in anger and he began to stand when Kerrigan stepped up and nailed Eli It made Vallon smile he should have known better the girls of these teams where just as tough as he was. He saw that now Maddy, Forellen, and Petra seemed to be walking and talking, he decided to try and join them.

He didn't feel awkward walking up to the three girls, it may have seemed that way since they all where from the other team but that thought never crossed his mind, Vallon always saw everyone in the academy as friends rather than as two teams. He wanted to go with them mostly to try and spend time with Madison he really wanted to just talk to her since they hadn't really had a chance since the dance after the carnival where he had kissed her. He was still amazed he hadn't gotten slapped for it at the time, but he had liked Maddy since coming to the academy. So he walked up to the girls, he figured he start by introducing himself to the newest member. "Hello ladies I hope i'm not interrupin' nothin, but I wanted ta introduce meself ta the new girl. Me names Vallon. Also I was wonderin if I could be joinin ya, doin whatever it is ya where doin. There be to much goin on here, and ya seem like tha calmer sort." Vallon said with a smile looking over at Madison he really wanted to just spend time with her and he was hoping that he could go with them. he really didn't want to stay with the new guys acting younger than Vallon was. He actually found that surprising since he was the youngest of the x-men, but he always acted older than he was.

Omega – New Blood

Jacen wasn’t sure how it happened, but the volleyball game seemed to die out faster than it had gotten started, which made him sad but he got over it relatively quickly. He took the momentary break in action to go back inside the house to get a snack.

The Mutant ran his fingers over the counter to a fruit bowl, plucking up an apple as he walked back out to a beach with a seemingly different mood.

“Jeezums… Gone for a second…” He muttered, walking up to Maddy and Co.. He took a bite out of the apple and looked over at the New Girl, Furrowing his eyebrows together as he swallowed. “New Recruits I take it?” He asked, his eyes looking over towards Leion’s New Friends as well. He smiled to the Russian, introducing himself. “Jacen Reilly, Omega.” He said, extending his non-appled hand for a ‘handshake’. He still hadn’t gotten the shaking part down, causing his handshakes to be rather rigid and inadvertently un-friendly.

He took another bite of the apple. He recalled that Shandra and Christian had got a few people to go to town, not necessarily at the same time, but their little section of beach seemed to be energetic enough to still be fun.

Omega - Unexpected company

Christian was just finishing up his first glass of water when he was taken by surprise by an unexpected guest. Shandra decided to change her mind and wound up joining the party. “Howdy!,” Christian said with a smile as the red head took a seat next to where he sat. He didn’t say much else as except for chiming in with a simple ‘no’ when Shandra asked if they left anything back home.

While the girls were carrying on a conversation, Christian’s hunger began to overtake him. He wasn’t exactly big on seafood, but he could imagine that a good eighteen ounce prime rib would be hard to come by in a place like this. He was just beginning to make his mind up to be the first one to grab something when he saw Sophia smile in his direction when her eyes met his for a split second. He chuckled to himself as he felt his expression soften a bit and a grin decorated his face.

Just because he wasn’t really speaking, it didn’t mean he wasn’t paying attention. But with the small talk Sophia, Shandra, and Antonio were engaged in left no room for him to get a word in edgewise. Such as it was, he took a couple of the octopus rings and put them on the small plate in front of him.

His nose rankled slightly as he poked at the spongy meat. It had an odd scent but it wasn’t enough to detract him. Cautiously, like a child trying something for the first time, he cut a small bite from one of the rings and gingerly placed the meat on his tongue. Surprisingly, it tasted good. Real good.

“Never thought I’d ever be eating mollusks,” Christian said absently as he began to cut up the food in front of him. When he was about ready to take another bite, a random server came by and refreshed his glass with more water. Politely, he offered a word of thanks and began to eat some more. He was feeling a bit better after eating the grilled octopus, and the water on top of that was beginning to fill him up. He knew he should slow himself down on the beverage, he wished to save room for the entrée.

“So…” Christian said as he decided to make up for the lull in conversation, “I know where at least two of us came from before we all wound up in New York. S’pose I’ll start that circle. I’m from about a full twenty-four north of here in the Seattle area.” He honestly didn’t know much about his teammates personally. It seemed when he got the call-up to the Omegas, it hit the fan and the teams were jumping into the spit with both feet.

Omega:Catalina - They can run...

User Image
A look of satisfaction made it's way to her lips as Kerrigan saw the glass ball connect with the new kid's shoulder (Eli), prompting him to stop his pursuit of the now-ended race. It came just in time, as a rather strong wave managed to knock her off her board, the redhead appearing above the surface of the water in time to see a half exposed new kid standing with a "hand-gun" pointed straight at her. He was smirking, something that brought an uncharacteristic scowl to her features as she started making her way towards him, tossing wet hair over her shoulders. However, he turned and darted into the throngs of people lounging on the beach, the redhead swearing softly to herself as she pushed herself through the sand. It was clear that he underestimated her - she might have physically based powers, but she knew how to use them.

For a moment she lost sight of him, the redhead pausing in the middle of the crowd as her eyes scanned for the jerk that was going to get a much-needed talking to. Eventually, she managed to find him, talking to another new Alpha (Wilbur) and Leion. He seemed to be slightly on edge, the redhead taking advantage of the crowd to make her way around so she could approach relatively unnoticed. She wasn't necessarily going to hurt him, no matter how much Cissa might want her to, but she was going to explain a little to him about the teams and how it would work in his best interest to not do something like that again.

Unfortunately, she caught his gaze on her, the redhead silently swearing to herself that her hair made her so easy to spot. At least when she was in her full suit it was disguised by the helmet, aiding in stealth. Ducking under one beach-goer's arm, the redhead made her way towards the group of racers, adjusting her sunglasses as she closed the distance between herself and the new kid in question. Clearing her throat as she came up behind them, she placed her hand on her hips, her body weight shifting to her left leg as she looked at him with a slightly stern expression.

"Hello Leion; fresh meat," she said simply, giving her team mate a soft smile in greeting before returning to her hard expression as she looked at the new Alphas. She turned so she was directly facing the sand-thrower, realizing she was indeed slightly taller than him.

"Alright, you better listen really carefully to what I am about to say - it might just be the best advice you'll get here, and if you don’t believe me, Leion is an Omega, and can back me up on this. Us girls you sprayed with sand in your attempt at a practical joke? One of them was the Omega leader, Narcissa, and you should be glad that she let me come after you instead of insisting that she do it herself. She is not the kind of person to take something like that lightly, so I suggest you just lay low for awhile and stay off her radar. If you try something like that again, I can't promise your safety, not to mention you’re just putting Bella in the path of destruction, because she has to follow you around and clean up your messes. Got it?"

There was something in the redhead’s tone that suggested how serious she was when speaking with him, even if her gaze was obstructed by her sunglasses. True, she did not necessarily enjoy getting sand in her face and mouth, but Lord knows she had been a lot messier than this before. There was some sense of care underneath it all, not only for the new team members, who she did not want to see get fried to a crisp on their first day, but also for Cissa, who didn’t need anything like this idiot to provoke her. That would not bode well for anyone.

Alpha - Chasing Fun, Chasing A Chaser Chasing A.... Chased? Chosen? Whatever You Get The Point!

Jack was mildly disappointed as he swam back from under the rock he attempted jump. It was way too shallow for the good fifteen foot drop, and with his size and heft would probably break something other then the waters surface. As he walked back he looked off to the side to see his favorite damsel in distress (Kerrigan), seemingly throw and invisible bullet at some new kid. At least that's what he thought it was. Light gleamed off of something mid air but at distance he couldn't properly judge or make out exactly what it was. Come to think of it, he barely knew what her powers actually were. Not like she mentioned them and in Limbo a horde of Demons kinda kept him too occupied to admire her, like he could now. Looking between the Victim and the redhead he could see some kind of competitive rivalry going though the look on her face was far more vengeful then playful.

With nothing better to do until tomorrow but lay about he decided to indulge for the day his new hobby. Pestering Kerrigan. He took his time walking not real intent on intercepting her. A game of cat mouse seemed to be going on with the crowd. Most people gave him a wide berth so he moved through it easily enough and just as easily spotted and followed the red head, though she was kinda dodgy likely avoiding the kid she pegged with some near invisible pellet. He was within ear shot of her small warning speech as he closed in and stood a head taller then her, his frame still abit more then twice of anyone.

" Wow new guy. You got Knoxxi and all her female friends ticked at ya? Thats some death wish. Hell's fury to the hundredth power times four. Those are women you definitely don't wanna scorn. Still fun though. But like she said don't pick on Goldie locks. Not unless ya wanna be branded literally by her B slap.". Jack cut in after Kerrigan nodding to both Leion who he knew from the camp at least by name and face, and the new kid that earned his favorite red heads ire.

Omega - Nature Shopping and Building Some More

Carlos couldn't be humorous about it, but his retort even without the enthusiasm of amusement could still sound funny. At least he hoped. " Could I get one now, in exchange for not getting a scolding when I do something loco?". He watched Evie block the doorway and from his view, her curvy silhouette was hard not to admire. He stood up though so he wouldn't have to stare at her backside, or be tempted to as was the case. " And here I was hoping to fry a tarantula for your enjoyment.". Carlos forced at least abit of genuine amusement into that comment. Vermin didn't bother him. Fear factor would have a hard time cracking him. His fearless and not so squeamish natured was use to everything most others were not. Rats, Snakes, Insects, Spiders, Leeches, Some took time to get use to yes and more time for those you could roast and eat but practically any living thing that could set someone off he wasn't afraid to keep in his proximity.

For Narcissa, she hated snakes, his favorite of pets, for Bella, sure she came around to eating crickets but show her a roach and watch her screech and look for something to stand on. Still though Carlos had no clue what Evie could actually be afraid of but her preference that a spider not be on her plate was a strong a hint for him as her reacting as she would if it did. Although still picturing her on stool screaming for someone to kill a spider seemed impossible to grasp. He might have to try that for fun sometime. He dusted himself off and reached for the knife he bought. " as much as I can remember from how I saw it sure. Over dinner."

He squeezed next to her through the door way and let his arm hug her around the waist for a second or two before he stepped outside to climb the convenient coconut tree that provided decent shade. Blade in mouth he was up and down shouting to look out below as he loosed the nuts at least a good five of the, so they hit the ground. He climbed down and just let himself fall the remaining height that wouldn't injure him and stacked the coconuts next to the fire pit. He then went off into the small but thick tropical brush to find whatever he could from large leafs to more wood, and a rock. He casually collected what he could to help him as if it were a minimart.

He came back to Evie and the fire pit dragging a large palm branch with his gathered supplies on it and sat down on the long he had pushed from the beach to sit on, happy it was dry. He found a few sea shells also one of which he chipped with the knife handle. He then got a rock so he could split the hard shells open. He was working rather quickly obviously having done this before, and also moreover to him because he wanted to keep himself occupied enough to not think on his troubles. He looked back at Evie as he got the first shell off and stabbed the inner one with the knife and made a hole.

He offered it to Evie, " I'm gonna be draining most of them. If you want to try the milk though." The taste was anything but lactose, which made him wonder why most people called it milk. It was an acquired taste really. He set it down and went back to work scraping the outer layers of a stick off as well as the branches. He began thinking how silly he might look, that he was using stone age methods just to camp outside and be by himself. Not everyone could see two rocks and get a meal out of it. Then again it was dying art even amongst where he came from. Modern tradition changed hand made composite bows and arrows into more powerful compound bows with carbon fiber arrows with titanium heads. Rather then die off completely his people integrated and adapted. Which he guessed was better then what happened in the U.S.
