Sonnet landed with a splash in the mud again, looking over at her. "You barely got any on you!" Not sure what she was going Yuck for, he was the one that was covered in the stuff. Getting up and wading back to the solid ground, dripping with mud this time, he definitely needed a bath.

"I....eh...." She blushed softly and turned away from him. She wasn't sure why she had said yuck, ok maybe she did know but she didn't know why she had said it out loud. She could remember when he brother had thrown her into the mud here and it had taken her weeks to get it all out since she refused to let anyone help her.... grown up. Yeah....like she was grown up, she couldn't even fly. How pathetic was she.
Blushing she turned back towards the water and then slowly started to walk towards it. "I'm going to go wash. You coming?"

Sonnet sighed, sure he had said something wrong now, but he nodded. "Yes, I think I might turn into a stone if I don't." Pulling a face as the mud on the edges of the big stains had already started to go hard, his fur sticking out in uncomfortable spikes there. His expression going to sorry as he looked at her. "I didn't mean to upset you Chan.... I'm really sorry." Though he had been right, she had a little on her legs, he was pretty much covered with mud now.

Chandra turned to look at him and smilked, "Don't be silly. I'm fine! You're right... I'm not really that dirty anyways." She said said as she slowly stepped into the mud and soon the water. Her hooves sunk into the soft dirt that was the bottom of the lake as the water level started to get higher and higher. She loved the feeling of water on her pelt. She liked being clean.

Sonnet didn't bother with Delicate steps, though he was careful not to splash her. Wading in till he was covered in water and proceeding to try and clean himself off. Submerged enough that only his head was visable, but he was stood on the lake bottom. And his head would vanish from time to time as he worked to get the more stubborn parts of the mud off.

Chandra watched how he was trying hard not to splash her, so she turned around and then used her tail to splash him as she whistled softly and playfully before turning to give him and innocent look. "What? I didn't do anything."
Part of Chandra knew that she could spend time with her friend forever.......
