Nero thought about it for a few seconds. "I'd ask what the Alpha was exactly, but you probably can't tell me."

Alina ate the rest of her dinner in silence. When she finished she asked, "Are you good at dancing?"

Nero looked at her as he finished his meal. "I'm okay, I wouldn't go as far as to say good though." He said with a soft chuckle.

Alina was going to protest but stopped. "Thank you," she said instead. The waiter came then with a tray filled with desserts. Alina chose a chocolate cake with strawberries and whipped cream. "What are you having Nero?"

The waiter took their orders and then left. "Have you heard anything about the upcoming Alpha test?" It was a test or more correct a fight to see who would be the new Alpha male. It happened every five years and the winner would become the new Alpha male and would rule the pack. Most believed that the Alpha male could lay claim to the Alpha female; this was going to be a problem for Alina this year. She had the right as the Alpha female to choose her mate.
