"I can handle myself," Vera said as confidently as she could. "And you have her friend's body."
Already she was running for the prison, using the sounds of battle to determine Lilly's location.
"Layla," she said, since the curse didn't allow her to call Naracan by anything else. "If you can get me close enough to Lilly, I can immobilize her. Otherwise, I can fight as well."
((Don't worry. I'm running around Gaia, trying to post and check everything at the same time >.<))t

Lilly's eyes cleared as she looked at him curiously. "You are Us, then why are you fighting for Them?" She asked confused, and distracted by the images he reminded her of. She couldn't think of Max now, she had to focus on Sarah and the man in front of her.
Naracan looked at Vera. "I'm not Layla, and I can't get you close, she already knows I'm not her friend." She said running after Vera into the prison.
She heard Vera and Naracan coming, but Lilly didn't care. She could kill them if nessicary.

How do I explain that I can't call her by anything else because she told me not to? Vera thought, sliding through the broken gate.
She watched Eelee carefully for a moment before returning her focus to Lilly. She already knows you're part of THEM.
But I'm not!
You are and you have been. Get over it.
But I still don't want to hurt anyone unnecessarily!

Lilly could have been my best friend if things had played out differently.
She's irrelevant. Eliminate her. Vera stared at Lilly carefully, her eyes begging for Lilly to just surrender. But she knew that Lilly would not hesitate to kill, and pointed her hands to the electric fence, sending the souls of them into it. When she brought her hands back, two electric hands followed them, resting just a foot from the tips of her actual fingers.

"It's called being undercover...", Eelee said calmly, "I send warnings to the camps when Them are going on hunts and try to convince Us not to attack the village... I'll get your friend out of the cell, but then you need to get out of here, the guards will show up any minute..."

"The guards are dead," Vera said pointedly, gesturing at slain bodies. "And you better watch your back, Mr. Eelee. THEY could hear and report you."
So Eelee was undercover. Figures that the entertainer would be the double agent.
She didn't move her hands, knowing the electric hands would move with them.
"Be nice now Veraline, no hurting the other kids," her mother said, finishing the fourth and final braid.

"Mother, they all hate me. They don't like me." Vera sobbed, glaring at the other kids frolic in happiness.
Vera glared at Eelee and Lilly. No, if things had been different, she still wouldn't have been your friend.

Sarah saw what was going on outside, and decided to get herself out. She momved to the corner to get the pick she had been making, then swiftly the lock clicked open. "I hate to interrupt but you guys might wanna step back." She said cooly. Sarah then backed up against the wall then started to run towards the door. There's no way this is gonna work Lana thought as she sat in the corner. But she was wrong, with fluid kick Sarah had taken out the door. Great, Lana added sarcastically, her mental block up as she thought this because she relized Lilly read minds as well.
"Great job Sarah! That was just amazing I can't believe you got us out so easily!" Lana said cheerfully, hiding the falseness great. She had to be able to keep everyone thinking she was Melinda.
"Yeah, well let's get outta here." Sarah said to Lana, still thinking she was Melinda. Then she turned to Lilly and Eelee. "Lilly, Eelee, nice to see you both. Eelee are THEY planning anything? They still aren't aren't aware of my plans right?" Sarah asked sounding serious.

Eelee's face turned into a worried look as he said, "I don't know... Last I checked, some hunters where preparing to go out looking, but I have no clue which ones... I suggest you hide your braids best as possible and look like a citizen. From there I'll take you to the entertainment boarding house, we have plently of open rooms and hidden ones at that."

Naracan sucked in a breath and stopped and stared. "Have you all lost your mind?!" She screamed.
Lilly looked at everyone. "Ok, you guys do what you want. I'm gone." SHe said glareing.

No one's going anywhere Vera seethed, watching Lilly. If she moved, Vera would punch at her.
Meaning the electric hand would.

Lilly looked at Vera. "Don't do something you'd regert." She said solemly wanting to run away, far away from Shadowpire. This was just too much for her to handle. Too much had happened that night.
Naracan also looked at Vera. "Hey, chill. Let her pass. She's not a threat." She said cold and flat. "Besides, she'll be back to free her friend."
Lilly shot a look of daggers at Naracan. "Don't you DARE talk like that again." She said cold. Her eyes starting to turn black again.

Fine. Vera lowered her hand tentatively. She tossed her hair, trying to ignore the feeling of having her hair in braids after so much time. They were bringing back memories and ways of thinking she could do without.
Friends though....You have your friends. THEY are your friends.
"What do I do?" she muttered.

Naracan sighed relieved. "Just wait for a moment." She said.
Lilly took off. She ran from the prison and back into the woods. Tears where sliding down her face silently when she was well over 5 miles away from the prison and slumped down under a tree.

I'm guessing that was part of the plan again? Vera thought, only half wickedly; she had seen the tears on Lilly's face, and half of her was tempted to chase after Lilly and tell her the truth. But then again, I already have, haven't I?

Naracan let out another breath. "Ok so we need to think and calm down. She's gone, but she'll be back, when she comes back we'll have a plan." She said pacing the bloody hall way.

Vera shot a glance at Sarah and Eelee and noticed another prisoner. Can't I just immobilize them all first? And then we can go and hunt Lilly down.
