Myurai smiled as he tucked the scrolls back into his backpack and pulled the dark red scroll with the single symbol for fire on it out and began to look it over. He had a deep personal love for Katon ninjutsu and this would be icing on the cake. First up was the Katon: Ichi (Fire Release: One). It was the basic step for all Katon masters. He smiled and focused his chakra into his fingers and it popped alight. He shook his finger and the fire dissipated.
Next up was the slightly more advanced version of the Katon: Ichi. Called the Katon: Ni. With it he could further control the flames in his pointer and index finger making it a somewhat viable option in combat now. However, jabs and strikes would simply burn through clothing and wouldn’t cause any substantial thereafter. In terms of raw searing strength, though, it allowed him to cut through even metallic string now. He took a breath and focused the fire once more and his index and pointer fingers both popped alight. He smiled as he flames combined to form one single flame. He extinguished the flames and moved on.
Now it was onto the good stuff the aggressive style he had grown to love.First up was the Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu (Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique). It was used to create a massive fireball and was also said to be an Uchiha right of passage but he cared little about that as he was not of that cursed clan. He smiled as he memorized the handsigns and took a deep breath and mixed his chakra with his breath. He then brought his fingers up to his mouth as he exhaled to control the massive stream of fire from his lips. He quickly experimented with moving his fingers to control the flow learning where he needed to have his fingers to do what.
Next was another offensive jutsu called the Housenka no Jutsu (Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique). It was a particularly shady ninjutsu as it allowed the user to hid objects in the many fireballs he fired. He looked over the handsigns and practiced them slowly at first and then faster and faster until he had them down. He quickly formed the handsigns and said," Housenka no Jutsu." He quickly breathed out a volley of fireballs and tossed a shuriken into each of them as they converged on the dummy on the far side of the room several dull thunks could be heard as the projectiles found their target and the fire engulfed the dummy and soon had it burnt to a pile of cinders.
Now it was back to the basic fire release's. He now had to tackle the Katon: San (Fire Release: Three). He made his way over to another dummy and channeled his chakra into his pointer and index fingers on both his left and right hands. He began to pummel the dummy with jabs and strikes until his fingers were sore and there were burn marks all over the dummy. He was rather disappointed with its power but the fact that he could now do it in both hands was an improvement all in itself.
He wanted to keep pushing the Katon series until he got an actual combat use out of it. He channeled even more power than the last one into his first two fingers and they popped alight. This time however he noticed the change instantly. The fire they gave off was much more powerful. He smiled and jabbed the dummy in front of him and his fingers sank in up to his hand. He chuckled as he pulled them back out. Now he was getting somewhere. He was becoming a force to be reckoned with.
He had one final Katon jutsu he wanted to learn before he took a break. It was the Katon Ryuuka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique) This jutsu had a plethora of uses. For anything from keeping heads down to turning people into marshmallows. Hell he could even melt boulders with this thing if he kept it in one place long enough. He chuckled as he formed the needed handsigns and said," Katon Ryuuka no Jutsu."
He leaned forward and exhaled the massive funnel of flame. All in all he looked like a flame thrower. He sat up and held his mouth open so that the flames followed his motions and before long he had figured its speed of motion out and was rather satisfied with himself.

Myurai tugged on the scroll to open it to its advanced moves. He needed a powerful jutsu to use in case he met a strong opponent at the exams. After settling on Katon as being the most offensive of the affinity's that he possessed he then stuck to the B-Rank. From there he chose the, Endan (Fireball) , The Katon: Go (Fire Release: Five) , and The Katon: Karyuu Endan (Fire Release: Fire Dragon Blast).

First things first, the Katon: Endan (Fireball). He slowly practiced the handsigns at first and then got a bit quicker and quicker until he had them committed to muscle memory and action. Next he practiced his breathing, he took a deep breath and slowed his heartbeat down and expanded his lungs to the maximum and then released the air slowly. He repeated this process of lung expansion and contraction until he was satisfied with his breathing. Finally came the all or nothing. He was naturally gifted at Katon ninjutsu so he was confident he could do this.

He flashed the handsigns deftly and took a long massive breath and mixed his chakra into his lungs and said," Katon: Endan." as he spoke he slowly let the air/chakra mixture seep out his mouth in a massive fireball which engulfed several rows of dummies and blasted a whole in the wall of the academy. When he ran out of air and the jutsu ended he was happy with his choice. This jutsu had a MASSIVE bite to it and would suit his needs at the exam.

Myurai placed all the scrolls into his backpack and made sure all his things were ready for the exams. Seeing that they were he smiled and left the academy a Gennin. He hoped he would return a Chuunin.

Gash sits on a rock in the middle of a field. Holding his first scroll. Even though he was a genin he wanted to start off learning academy skills. Gash unrolled the scroll seeing that it was Electricity Resistance Skill.Making a hand sign Gash concentrates on his chakra making it into electricity and as he sat there still concentrating on it the pain of the electricity went away.
Electricity Resistance Skill completed.

Gash ran into the academy returning the scroll he just had before. Gash then asked for the other 2 academy scrolls and The lightning clone scroll. The scroll keeper looked at Gash and threw the scrolls at him. "Have them back by the end of the day." The keeper said. Gash took the scroll and ran back out into the field to continue his training. Gash took out the 2 academy scrolls and read them over. After a bit of reading and testing different parts Gash thought that he might be able to do it. First he would try flickering light jutsu. Gash charged his chakra and let the energy out of his body creating a glow. "Yes, I got it, That was alot easier that i had thought." Gash said to himself.

Next Gash was going to attempt the static String jutsu. First Gash unrolled a fighting dummy scroll and summoned a attack dummy. Gash posted him up on a post and walked back a distance. Gash form the needed hand signs fast and said, "Static String Jutsu!" Chakra started to flow to his finger tips and the electricity came out of his fingers. He decided to attack the dummy so he let out the chakra strings and wrapped it around the dummy. He sent shocks throughout the dummy and set the dummy on fire. Gash smiled to what he had accomplished and rolled up his scrolls.
Stactic string complete.
Gash was now starting his last jutsu scroll that he had gotten. Gash unrolled the Lightning Clone jutsu scroll and read it. First going over the hand signs and practicing controlling his chakra. Gash stood up and sighed. Forming a couple hand signs gash finally said, " Lightnign Clone Jutsu." An identical clone appeared next to him and they looked at each other and laughed. The clone walked over to the tree and Gash released the jutsu. "Ok that looks good for these 2 jutsu. I think im going to go get some more scrolls." Gash said as he ran back to the academy.

Chakra pool: 300 
Walking into the Library with his hood on top of his head he was that it was a very dark and empty place to be. Most of the part in the building were unstabe and were giving way. Tosji didn't know it then but he would soon learn that the floor was no longer stable enough to told him causing him to fall all the way to the basement. Upon hitting the ground he ended up hurt really bad. Fortunately he was able to get up and walk away without any broken bones but he was kind of disoriented because of a blow to the head on his way down. Looking around for an exit the light from the sun shined showing a secret room. Entering he saw that the room was filled with very old scrolls that were used to train ninja of all sorts. Rejoyceful to have found something so wonderful he grabbed the first five scrolls and ran out of there heading to the Village gates.

Kat walked into the Academy, she was met by her old teacher. She was happy that she would see a face that has helped her soo much, it relieved her to see someone that was looking out for her best interests. She bowed to them "You made me the Kenoichi that I am today, I'll always be indebted to you." She laughed and they now bowed to each other, as she walked she looked into the class rooms filled with younger academy students and felt nostalgic.

Roatsu was seen picking flowers just outside of the main academy building. He was admiring their beauty just before he placed them on the inside of his large coat. He was a handsome man; a large, handsome man. He stood at six feet and two inches tall, his muscles were lean and toned to perfection, but retained a peculiar lightness for his body. His brown hair was wound up tight in a tall ponytail, but only in the back. The rest of his hair fell to wherever it ended up. His face was full of youth and was amazingly attractive.

Katsumi walked out of the front building and headed to the training building, she stood for a moment and enjoyed the sun beating down on her. She always enjoyed a hot day in Konoha. As she walked she was greeted by a bunch of her peers some of whom decided not to be a shinobi. She chatted with them for a second and something caught her eye, she looked into the distance and saw a man picking flower...she didn't try to begin to understand what he was doing but was curious. Her friends looked at him and then looked at her.
Friend #1: "Talk to him Katsumi!"
Friend #2: "I bet he's that rugged but sensitive type"
Katsumi: "You have got to be kidding, don't you guys have something better to do?"
Katsumi laughed with her friends for a moment and made a face at them playfully before walking into the training hall. She never took the man out of her sights...not once.

Roatsu stood next to a pond and admired the shining brilliance of the water. He just sat there and stretched his palm out towards it and focused his chakra into it. Roatsu was an expert at controlling his own chakra nature, but he had never used ninjutsu before. However, Roatsu easily manipulated the water into the air and caused it to splash around his body and created a sparkling rain that only magnified his beauty. As he stood there in his magnificent, he turned his head to see a group of girls looking at him. He sent them a wink and a couple of them swooned due to his good looks.

Boiling, and pressurization of water are included in these studies. Boiling includes the creation of steam by further putting chakra into the water. The user cannot perform these tasks on larger bodies of water with this basic study alone. Furthermore, by learning to draw water from the moisture in the air, the shinobi can use water techniques without requiring a source of water nearby (unless stated otherwise.) A Kage level jutsu always requires a water source, even if the Mist-nin in question creates it first.

Katsumi glanced at the man one more time before entering the building completely, she looked back and saw the girls swooning over the man. She didn't pay any attention, she just headed to the central courtyard. She sat down on the ground and thought of the first jutsu; she channeled chakra to her nose and thought of what the jutsu might look like. She exhaled hard and steam escaped from her, it clouded the room. She laughed and was ready again...but that guy was on her mind.
