Hello darlings! I just got accepted to the guild today and I'm very anxious to meet you all.
My name is Mari and I live near Montreal int the province of Quebec. I've been into girly, doll-like fashion practically forever but I've only known about egl and its off-shoots for a couple of years now. I very much into fashion in general, especially anything odd or original. My favourite things are kitties, pretty yarn and sweets.
And.. that's all the introductions I'll be writting for now. I'm full of the allergies and it's making it hard to concentrate.

hullo every one my real name is Josh i was born in the phillipeans in1988 i am a senior in high school i go to Ocean City High in New Jersey i dont know any one on gaia personaly i have no use of punctuation this will be a run on sentence lol well i now live outside of OC in marmora i have a big red house i look like my dad ..... ok im going to make this more organized now lol this is way too random lol ..... ok here goes
where i lived: i was bor in the phillipeans, i lived there for one yea then i moved to north carolina after that i went to germany and then back to nc then i moved up to new jersey and lived in oc for about 10 years then i moved too marmora where i am now
family: im an american my dad was in the military so that explains why i moved around so much, my mom is an accountant ... they got divorced when i was like 3, i have one real brother he is awesome and i love him alot i have a 2 step brothers one with my dad and the other lives with me, he is older and the one with my dad is younger i have a 2 half sisters and a half brother one lives with me and the other two are with my dad i have on step sister which lives with me my step brother and my brother are the only ones older than me the rest are younger im the middle child lol
appearance: umm yea im about 5'5" i weigh like 130 which i will lose about 10 lbs soon .... i have dirty blonde hair hazel eyes and light color skin my hair is very soft and strait im fairly muscular but i dont show it
looks: i wear on a daily basis camo pants and a t-shirt, skater shoes and maybe a shell neclace that matches i have about 5 different colors
if in mot wearing camo pants its jeans all the way but they gota be loose lol i cant stand tight clothes
personality: i am upbeat and freindly i love talking to people and i love everyone, but more importantly i love God and i do everything for him
activities: i love playing sports and stuff like that i am the captain of the wrestling team i used to play soccer and tennis i love all other sports, i cant watch them on tv though ... i yoyo and juggle and all that jazz lol
religion: i am christian and proud of it
future plans: i plan to go to college at pbu philidelphia biblical university and major in camp ministry, i plan to open up a christian overnight camp with my brother and it would be located in pa somewhere because nj is too expansive

Oh, dear, I've been posting here this whole time and I haven't even introduced myself.
Anyway, my real name is Allison, I'm 18 years old, and I have been interested in Gothic Lolita fashion for about three years now. My interests are reading, speaking French, sewing, playing violin, collecting dolls (does anyone else own any Super Dollfies, by chance?), and knitting. I live in St. Louis, MO and go to Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. I'm double-majoring in English/Creative Writing and French, which puts me in the minority at a mainly business school.

Greetings everyone!
Most members on Gaia know me as Asaia, though my close friends call me Suzu (Japanese for 'bell', due to one of my middle names, Isabella). I prefer not to use my real name, though many people do know it, so please call me Asaia, Suzu, or Bell. Though, I suppose if you're really interested, it's Kelsey.
I'm a thirteen (fourteen on Oct. 27th) year old teenage girl living in British Columbia, Canada. I could tell you my exact location, but unless you're from Canada, or have some knowledge of our geography, I doubt you'll have heard of it. If you're really curious, just consider it somewhere around Vancouver.
I became interested in gothic lolita in a rather odd way. One of my best friends (A member of this guild, unsurprisingly. Her username's Mask of Master, formerly Halliann) has been obsessed over lolita for the last couple of years, and to tell you the truth, I was never very interested in it. I hadn't been much into gothic and Victorian clothing at the time, and the whole idea was rather odd to me. I mean, I was obsessed over Japan, and had been for the past five or six years, but I drew the line at something like this. At least, I did then.
I suppose my interest started after the local anime convention. I'd attended before, and enjoyed it, but this summer I noticed more and more people dressed in lolita. At the time, I still found it an odd style, but that soon changed. I'd become obsessed over running a stall at the convention next year, but my art skills are rather pathetic at the moment, so that was out of the question. What I am good at, at least in my opinion, is designing and sewing. I'm developing my skills as yet another teenage seamstress, and so designing plushies seemed like a great idea to me.
Gothic lolita plushies, in fact. Since it's so popular, and can never be trademarked, it seemed perfect. So I started doing some research, and needless to say I became interested. More then interested, actually. Borderline obsessive, perhaps.
And that's the tale of how I became interested in gothic lolita. Not very exciting, but true nonetheless. And now, for some more about me (Though I have always hated writing these things...)
Hmm...I'm a writer, and have been for the past five or so years. I began as a pure fantasy writer, but quickly became interested in romance, humor and historical fiction. I'm a large supporter of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender rights, two of my cousin's being gay, and my being bisexual. If that offends anyone, too bad. I won't apologize for believing in something.
I'm not very religious, so there's no need to post anything concerning that. I've been obsessed over Japan since I was five years old, as you'll soon see. I used to play percussion, though it was more my father's dream then mine, as he is a professional guitarist and had always hoped I'd be as interested in playing music as him. I'm more interested in reading then anything else, approximately 700+ books a year. Fiction, mostly, with my manga not included in that total.
That reminds me, manga. I'm very interested in anime and manga, though you may not notice much as this is a gothic lolita guild. And now, time for some random facts about me! (I hope I don't go over the text limit on this...)

Well, I'm not very interesting, but here we go:
I'm SomHell (my main account is Somnambulist Hellion, but I like this account better for some reason). I just joined the guild yesterday. My real name is Jasmine (blech), I'm 17 years old, and I live in a hick/wannabe ghetto hellhole called Mableton, which is about ten miles outside of Atlanta, Georgia. I'm obsessed (almost unhealthily so) with video games (especially Rumble Roses. It's a guy game, but it's so much fun).
Lessee, what else can I say about myself? I love music. It's always been my passion. I play viola for my school orchestra (though I'm only fourth chair, but I guess that's pretty good out of seven people, all of which have all been playing since middle school when I only started freshman year), and I take pride in being a self-proclaimed audiophile. I'll never be content until I find all of the best music there is. I'm also an avid jewelery maker. You can usually find me with some hemp or string sticking out of my pocket in case I feel the sudden urge to start weaving or braiding something.
I'm not quite as interested in Lolita as some of my friends are, but I'd love to learn how to make the clothes and accessories and to learn more about it. Unfortunately, my sewing skills are crap, and it would take forever to knit an entire outfit, not to mention that I'm not the best at knitting quite yet. I'm sure I'll get more into it as I learn more.

i wonder if i put my intro here
im krystal f living in tx origionally from ny.
i like games alot. no rpgs or frufri stuff like that. action, shooters, fighters, stuff like that. i am a man in a females body.
i work out alot and i like sparing/wrestling and i love to go on walks.
i have had a bf for about 2 years and he is m best friend and a big chunk of my life. i love and hate him to pieces.
i am a fashion fiend. i shop every where and have been able to sew since i was five. im only now masteirng useing the machine. im so skinny i have to alter alot of my clothes. im five foot nothing and i make men quiver or love me.
i like some anime but i am extremely picky. i dont like girl anime one bit. so dumb. i love action and deep stories.
i love music. im picky with that as well. industrial, old metal, techno, and some other stuff.
im a varry picky person. i dont like most people either.
im a genius and an honor student in my school. i am dyslexic and miss-spell a word out of its a** sometimes. bear with me, it makes me alot madder than it makes you.

I just got accepted a couple days ago and I almost completely forgot to introduce myself. x3
My real name is Kat, if you're not comfy calling me that Theres always HDC (the short version of my gaia name xD)
I'm 18 years old and I currently live in Sterling heights, Michigan. I became interested in the lolita style a couple years ago, when I dived deeply into fashion and the art industry. I hope someday to become a lolita designer here in the states. ^_^ The begining of my lolita obsession started with pixel dolling. I still do that very often but almost all of my old dolls were gothic lolita related. Soon after I continued to dive into the lolita world, and basically fell in complete and utter love with the beauty of it all.
Unlike many others in the guild, I am not a fan of Mana or his clothing line at all. x: Personally, i find Mana a little too full of himself, and kind of goofy. Sure the clothing he wears in the GL bibles are fantastic.. but something about him irks me. >w< ( I probably just made a crapload of enemies. XD)
Some of my favorite lolita designers are Putumayo and H.Naoto. (for darker styles) For the lighter I like Metamorphose (How can you not like a company that ships to the US? xD) as well as BTSSB.
My favorite band ever is Dir en grey. My favorite solo artist is Miyavi. ^^ Theres a whole bunch others, but those are my top two, At least of Jrock fame. Other than Jrock I like Jpop, Industrial, Electronica, Chiptunes, Noisecore, Breakcore, and probabaly a whole bunch of other genre's that would take forever to list. XD

I joined yesterday, and that is because I really like EGL! Does anyone think that the "G-LOL" sets here are...lacking? Not enough accessories I say ^_^;.
I'm really into GL and am learning to sew. I wear skirts just about every day and always lots of color (I only wore black, white and gray in Middle school gonk )
I'm 15 years old on the 21st, live in NY and am in 10th grade...
I LOVE J-Rock especially Miyavi, Dir en Grey and L'arc~en~Ciel.

I'm sixteen, I live in California, and my birthday is April 30th. I'm only a student as of now, and I don't have a job yet, but I plan to apply to a certain theatrical/costume store sometime very soon.
I used to be a fanatic girl-gamer-nerd, until my interest decreased somewhat last year. I lost the free time to keep up, and fashion and graphic design started to consume my life. I still play games though. Video games are the love of my life.
...though my play time has decreased even more since I met my boyfriend a few months ago. He makes me feel so stupid and inferior on the subject. Just because I'm a girl. I still know plenty, he just won't accept that. ._.;
Okay, sorry, that's all for that.
I've been into EGA and EGL stuff for a couple years now, after my good friend Sami got me addicted to Malice Mizer and such. <3 After a while I figured out all the other cute Lolita styles that there were. I started buying stuff online and making my own little trinkets, and I've been addicted since.
Also, I'm big into music. Can't live without it.
I listen to JRock, Trip-Hop, Electronica, Metal, and Techno Industrial (I like calling it that). My favorite JRock bands are Buck-Tick, D'espairsRay, and Gazette. And because it seems that every other person noted that they like Dir en grey, I will confirm right now that I love them, too. XD
And I can't live without Green Tea, either. Which I am drinking right now. I have an addiction. Luckily it is extremely healthy, so no worries there. :3

I am 14 years old and my birthday is on the 3rd of July. : D
I am obsessed about art. I live breath, think, walk and talk art. I draw it often too. razz
My other hobbies include playing the guitar, swimming, writing, shopping and weapons. I like weapons. ;3
I only got into lolita-ey things lately but Im already in love with it, I'm thinking of buying little bits and bobs, like ribbons and such, to jazz up plain t-shirts and things. Woo! : D
There's about 3 people I know who know what a lolita is, which is sad. : ( You dont see lolita around here, which makes me ever more enthusiastic to be apart of it!
Lets see now, I am 5'7/8", not sure how much that is in centimeters. I have somewhere between light and tanned skin. I have blue eyes and long, naturally curly, naturally blonde hair. Do I sound like a dolly to anyone? razz I have a very clean cut and quite sweet face too, I think I'd make a cute lolita. ^^ Oh! I also wear glasses with black kinda chunky rims. They look very stylish. :3
My favourite colours are red, black and purple, though the only one I really wear a lot of is black. I'm not under a gothic stereotype however.
I like music that not many people/no one has heard of around here. I like music with instruments and lyrics that mean something, not just a heavy dance beat with I loOooVe U BaaaAaaAyBeE warbled by an "RnB" singer in the background. By this I mean dance music, and bad RnB, Im not too keep on Rap either. I only really like eminem because some of his songs are really emotional and some are really funny. My favourite bands right now are The Dresden Dolls, Within Temptation and Lots and lots of Jrock type bands. : D

Hello, nyu. n_n I'm Small Lady. I live in Illinois, in one of the suburbs around Chicago. Currently I'm a student in college and I work as the publications distributor at the North American Die Casting Association. My birthday ish on July 21st.
I love my fiance; fluffy, cuddly, and/or cute things; reading anything I can manage to get my hands on; Romantic and Victorian-era gothic novels; mahou-shoujo manga and anime; frilly or beribboned clothing; heavy metal, rock, and J-rock music; teddy bears; Asian horror films; my egotistical guinea pig, Napoleon; old-fashioned soda-fountain drinks, like chocolate soda; frosting; baking scones for tea-parties or sweets for any occassion; knitting, although I can't seem to do much besides scarves; and daydreaming.
Although I am a huuuge fan of Gothic Lolita and all of the other Lolita subsets (mostly the frilly, cute ones as opposed to the more "punk" ones) I don't have any outfits and I've never had the opportunity to dress in it, nya. Even though I have a job, I'm absolutely dirt-poor, since all my money goes towards my schooling. I'm hoping to eventually learn how to sew and make something, but I don't know when they will happen, and our sewing machine ish rather evil-ish. Still, I want to learn more about Lolita clothing and lifestyles, nyu, because someday I would absolutely love to partake in it. heart
