Joey was watching all this unfold. it was one thing to see the man you grew up with change right infront of your eyes, but seeing a small child was another thing. Joey suddenly felt sick. such a poor young child. he got up and weaved his way out of the room and trotted down the hall. I need some air
Joey made his way to the back pourch. he breathed in the cool, non dirt infested air. like the stuff you get in Texas. it was crisp clean and soothing. He started doubting his texas loyalty. But his quiet peaceful calm was soon interupted. A tall black haired man Jet had called Adrian ran out of the woods, tears lacing his face. he darted past Joey and, avoiding the beg crowd, fan up stairs. Joey couldn't help but follow. he was concerned. Joey darted after Adrian, even for a human, he was fast. he cought him just in time to see him close the door of his room behind him.
Adrian slammed the door to his room. it was all over. He lean his back agenst the wood and slid down to the floor, gasping for air through his tears. he had paniced. but could you blame him. he killed his own child. Adrian always felst he had some control on his emotions but right now, that was all gone, every tear stung his face, evry breath burned his throat. But nothing could stop the tears he was crying. he bawled like a newborn baby. pathetic and scared.
Jorden made his way back to the hectic living room. he looked around, them williem motioned for him to come. so he did. Williem handed him the weed savanah had found on Rudi.
"I do not know how he got this, or if this is even yours but either way, here you go. Add this to your stash, and keep it under lock and key."
jorden nodded. "Yes sir." Jorden dropped the stuff on the table and went over to savanah. He looked at her and say a she had a kid. Jorden cocked his head to one side. "Wh-who is this?"
Jet, surprisingly was the one to speak up. "Savanah found a fox and brought it in melody thought it was a fox but it wasn't a fox it was a were fox and now he is seems scared of every one and has atached to savanah and his name is Carter." Jet said all that in one breath, he had to stop to breath. "Sir."
Jorden was confused. the youngest were, by their records (micheal, jorden, williem and micheals old pack/family) micheal had been the youngest were to change. and he was ten. this kid was definatly younger then that.
Micheal made his was through the crowd to the kid. He bent down to his level. "Hey, its alright." Micheals voice was calm warm and kind. It was his daddy voice. "We are all good people here, no one would dare hurt you. Plus, I wouldn't let any thing happen to you or any one else in this house. you can trust me on that one." Micheal knew how to deal with kids. he had been there to raise his two girls. but he didn't know how to handle a boy. he had left just after his son was born to take care of Jorden. "Also, Jorden over there," Micheal motioned to Jorden, who smile timmidly. "He has a daughter about your age. She is so nice."
Jorden couldn't help but smile, even though it still hurt his mouth.
Joey darted down stairs, finding his way back to the crowd that had formed in the living room. Jorden had recovered and had joined them, he was looking over the little Carter with williem and Micheal. Micheal look at the boy like a loving father would have. Joey found savanah, he grabbed her arm and yanked her away. Only then did he notice his own eyes where wet with fear and concern. He found it hard to find his voice, but he tryed. "Adrian. He-he needs you." Joey studdered as he pulled savanah towards the stairs with all the strangth a weak skinny country boy could muster.

Personality: Johnathin seems to have two types of personalities. When around other people, he is sweet innocent and loving, but around his husband Micheal, he is controlling (in a loving way) and is the boss.
History: Johnathin is gay. But he grew up in a very unsupportive family, and he grew up believing that he was wrong and that was not the way to live, so he ran away from the truth. He ended up forcing him to marry a woman named Sandra. He was not happy, so he made up arguments and ended up divorcing her. After that, Johnathin joined the Canadian Special Opts. Gaining great military skills. He was in the CSO for ten years, he left the Opts when he was 30. he then gained U.S citizenship when he was 32, but still lives in Canada. He met Micheal when he was 34. they got married a year later. Micheal had gotten Johnathin with Jorden from the moment they met. They had been having a long distance relationship with micheal in the south and Johnathin in Canada. He moved down near Jorden. Where micheal lived only a few minutes away from his patient. Johnathin is now a lawyer. Dropping out of the action, but he still has police training. He is often gone on business and Micheal stays with Jorden.

Savanah blinked, and tore off in the direction Adrian had gone. Carter clung to Savanah's side, wide eyed. She skidded to a stop at Adrian's door. She tired the knob. Locked. A minor drawback. She lightly pressed her fingers to the knob, jerked her hand down sharply, and heard the lock snap. She opened the door, and saw Adrian sobbing. She paused, shocked. Carter leaned forward, staring at him. He was an interesting dude. Tall, dark, and goregous in a gothic way. Then, there was the fact that he was crying like the worlds meaning had just dissapered. She crept closer, tenitive. Was...did she do anything? She didn't think she did. All she had done, was talk, and hug. Then he had gone away, and come back crying.
"A-...Adrian?" She whispered, laying a light hand on his shoulder. A blast of thoughts shoved into her brain. She gasped in pain, and stumbled back, nearly dropping Carter. Emotions slamed into her like bullets, slicing her mind with their intensity. He was in pain...over...a lost...something. Something lost.
Another blast, more painful then the last. She cried out, and hit the wall hard, her head complaining. He...lost a child. His...his child. When he...when he attacked his old girlfriend. And he only now knew that. There was a wall going up between her, and him. She could feel it. She could feel it so clearly, that when she had touched him, his body had revulted her. Telling her mentally, to stay away. Maybe he didn't conciously know this, but...it hurt all the same. She looked at Adrian, nodded slightly. "I...I understand. You can go see her, if you want." She turned, kissed Carter's confused head, and left. She trotted down the stairs, reached out to Joey, and kissed him on the forehead. She looked him right in the eyes. "Thank you." She said, low, and very serious.

Adrian looked up at savanah and watched her walk way. just leaving him. He didn't want to see his old girlfriend, he jsut wanted to forget what happened. And now, the one person he felt could help him do that, just walked out on him.
Joey just looked at savanah, and for the first time in along time, he felt mad. she didn't do any thing. Joey just shook his head and darted back up the stair to Adrian, with jet close behind, and Kaidne close behind jet.
It wasnt hard to find him, just follow the crying. Joey entered the room and walked over to Adrian.
"Its okay." joey leaned down and rapped his arms around Adrians shoulders.
Adrian stiffened. "Let go of me." Adrians voice was dark and husky. Joey had no time to react. in a blur of a motion, adrian got to his feet and whiped around, grabbing Joey around the neck with one hand, digging his claw like nails into the back of his neck. Joey tried to scream out, but adrians grip choked him. Adrian grew Joey to the ground. Joey caughed up the small about of blood that had collected in his throat. He was just a normal weak human.
Jet was furrious, but couldn't, he had to tend to Joey, in shock and frightened. He dropped to his knees. Kaidne would have normaly not stood up for Joey, but seeing Jet in such distress, made him mad. Kaidne drew back and struck Adrian across the face. Kaidne is one of the most physicaly strong wolves in the house. Adrian stumbled and dropped to the ground, bawling even harder.
Jet nearly dragged Joey to his feet and pulled him out of the room and down stairs.
Kaidne just stood there over Adrian, waiting for him to get back up, so he could knock him back down. No one hurt his Jet.

Savanah's ears picked up the sounds of fighting. She sprinted back to Adrian's room, and found him on the floor, hurt, with Kaidne standing above him. Jet was trying to help Joey, who looked really hurt. She snarled, and darted over to Adrian, ignoring the tidal wave of pain that rocked through her. She knelt by him, and lifted his head into her lap, looking down at him. It hurt so much, having her do that. His pain doubled, no, quadrupaled going into her. It felt like she was getting shot in every place that she touched him. Carter cowered away from Kaidne, terrified. She looked up at him. "You come near him, then I will kill you," She snarled, looming protectivly over Adrian. What the hell had happened? If she paid attention to Adrian's thought's and feelings, she would know in an instant, but she didn't have time to. She needed to protect the one she loved.
Carter shifted, and threw himself at Kaidne, growling. He was so small though, that he only hit Kaidne's stomach lightly. He fell to the ground, dazed. Savanah knew that he liked her, but she didn't know that he cared enough to get mad, when she was destressed. the thought touched her.
"Adrian..." She whispered. "What...talk to me. Your body is telling me that you don't..." How to explain it... "That you don't want me around."

Adrian got to knees infront of savanah. Kaidne scowled at them both. he glared at savanah. "If either of you come near Jet... and joey again," Kaidne added his name blankly. only for jets sake. "I kill both of you." Kaidne turned and walked out of the room.
Adrian stared blankly at savanah for a moment. He tried hard to find his voice. "I don't want you around." Adrian paused. "Yet I do." he sobbed. "I just want to undo what I did." He looked savanah in the eyes. "but if I did, i'd be stuck in an 18 year comitment," He placed one hand on her shoulder. "And I would have never come here, and I never would have met you. Its a win-lose situation."
Adrians mind had been racing a mile a second before, but now, every thing seem to move in slow motion. as if he was trying to take in every great moment before he went and distroyed it again. he could see the pain in his girlfriends eyes. he could feel the fear radiating from Joeys, the rage eluminating from Kaidne and the hatred flowing from Jet. He wondered where Micheal was, and why he hadn't come and pinned him to the ground yet. But he would think about that later. Right now,he had to set things straight with savanah, but all his well thought out speeches where suddenly washed away at the sight of the devilish looking Jorden, looming at the door. He just stared at Adrian. Adrian could feel a strange feeling. a feeling telling him to look away. look away and may be he will go away. So he did. he focused on savanah. and Jorden didn't seem to interfere. Maybe he was just watchin, or maybe Adrian was just imaganing him. Either way, all he could do now was stare at Savanah.

The pain lessened. He was calmed down. She hugged him, and Carter nuzzled up to them too, and sighed. Savanah closed her eyes. Long...long day. She wished it would end. This house was filled with so much drama... Was it going to be like this everyday? She smiled. She hoped not. She wouldn't live to see thirty, if so. Too much stress.

Adrian melted into savanah. she felt good. Adrians deepest fears where luckly not met. Savanah could fix things. Maybe not right away. Any one would take a long time after losing their own child. It would take time. But As long as savanah was there, it would not be as hard. Maybe a few days os crying. A few more of morning. and as long as no one brought up the subject, he could be back to normal in about a few weeks. Adrian tried to make the situation better. At least I never saw its face. It didn't have a name. at least it didn't have to suffer Those thoughts actually seemed to help.
Then, Adrian finally noticed the small fox kid nuzzling next to them. Perfect This kid seemed young enough. If Adrian really wanted help, this kid could do some thing for him. A child. A child he could take care of. Like a substitute child. what perfect timing. Adrian half let go of Savanah and pulled the kid into the hug. Our own little family. Adrian could feel an unexpected smile come over him. Every thing happened for a reason.

Jet had finally slipped away from Kaidne intence watch. He had came up to Kaidne, kissed him once on the lips and slipped away. Kaidne was in to much shock or was it glee, to stop him. Jet had never really drank. he only drank once. and it was in church. then he stopped going to church. But any thing was better then hurting him self. He had a rule. He could only slit his wrist once a week. And since he'd done that about a day ago, he had to wait another five days or so. Jet rumaged through the fridge, he didn't know what to grab, so he just picked out the type of beer kaidne had been drink the night jet came back. He swiged down one drink. Not nearly as bad tasting as he remembered. Jet leaned up agenst the counter. no one seemed to have come looking for him. Jet washed down the rest of the beer. His head felt groggy, but he was still sober. Jet drifted up stairs. His mind was glazed over. Too much too fast. He had let Joey get hurt. That was unforgivable. He found his way to adrians room. He knocked softly on the door frame, interupting their hug. He never looked up. he just kept is head down, his eyes pointed to the floor. "I'm sorry." His voice was shaky and quiet. He tried to hide the real depression he felt, but he could tell he was not doing such a good job at it. "I just.... I don't know. I'm sorry." Jet walked quietly out of the room. He strolled down stairs agian. He slipped past kaidne and watched micheal work over Joey. He had made him take his shirt off, to check for other inguries. And that was the last straw. Jet saw on Joey's back, deep slash mark scares on either side of his back. Jet knew how those got there. That night by the lake. Jet was to cought up in things that he hadn't even realized he had hurt the one person in his whole life that never left him. the one person he could tell every thing too. Jet could never tell any one about his past life. his past trama. they would just put him down. Jet was on vacation with Joeys family in montana, when he found another wolf. He confined in her. He told her every thing. Jet had gotten in a fight with his girl friend amanda. He didn't want to go out that night, so she went out driving alone. she ended up getting in a horrible car crash and died. Jet knew it was his fault. Then he was at a rodio and he wanted to ride this really tough strong dangerous bull. His father told him not to. said it was to dangerous and he was going to get hurt. But Jet didn't listen and took that bull. He ended up getting bucked off, kicked in the head and trampled. Hid father had jumped into the ring to save him. Only to get kicked in the head as well. jet suvived. His dad didn't. Again, jet knew it was his fault his father died. Jet had gone into a rut. Hurting him self. Cutting him self, burning him self and beating him self. the only one he would talk to was Joey, who never left his side. the girl he talked to got all up in his face calling him a selfish weak, spineless little p***k. Saying that some of us have actually killed our families with our bear hands. Jet agreed with the girl and that put him into another rut. And he spent the rest of the vacation in the hospital, suffering from acute bloodloss and head trama. Jet could never let that happen agian. If he just cept it a secret, then no harm done. Litterally. Jet wondered back up stairs, his mind glazed over in a depressed fog. Seeing what he had done to Joey was it. Jet walked past Adrians room and went into savanahs. He rumaged around her stuff till he found what he was looking for. A razor blade. They where much smoother then knives. Jet stuffed it in his pocket and walked back down stairs. he slipped past Kaidne and every one else. And began to stroll towards the woods.

Savanah moved her head slightly, and pressed her lips to Adrian's, with enough intensity to make Carter giggle, and shift uncomfortably. She didn't care though. She was thrilled to be back, thrilled to have her boyfriend back, and all her family. Plus a new one. No, two new one's. She liked Joey. He was sweet. She was so happy, she shoved Adrian to the floor, knocking the wind out of him. She giggled, and laid her head on his chest, content, and happy. She had never been so comfortable in her own skin. Being popular, ment you had to worry about looks, yada yada yada. Here...you had to worry about who you picked on, when you picked on them, and where you did it. All factors that could end with a knife sticking out of you, or a very mad Williem. And Micheal. And Jorden. And the person you provoked. Heehee. whee
"I love you," She murmured to Adrian, and hugged his chest tight to her. She didn't plan on letting go.

Adrian liked what was going on. Yet he didn't. He loved savanah and all. But this was getting a little to close. The last person who was this close to him ended up losing their baby. But Savanah didn't seem to make any moves to go fairther, so he could take it. Flaces of Liz came racing through his mind. Her sweet smile. her eyes. her face. and the way she would provoke Adrian to make out with his friend Andrew. Just because it made her smile. Then... Andrew came to his mind. He was another emo kid Adrian had met at school. Around him he was never mean or jackasslike. Andwer was fun loving but sure did care about adrian (not like Joey cares about jet. Just friends). He never stopped to think about, maybe, just maybe some people where missing him back home.
But he had to focuse on the here and now. And now, savanah was on him and there was this little kid watching them. Micheal would have to talk to him sooner or later. Cause sure as hell Adrian wasn't. "I love you too." Adrian smiled, blocking out Liz, Andrew and the baby. He brought his lips to hers.
But this tender moment was rudely interupted by Kaidne. who had stopped in the door way.
"Savanah? Adrian?" Adrian cringed away from Kaidne,only to relax seing the expression on his face. He was panic stricken and he looked scared. his voice also sounded shaky. "Have either of you seen Jet. I look away for two seconds and he's gone. Agian." Kaidne muttered that last word to him self. "I looked all over the house and all I found was this." Kaidne threw a note towards them. Adrian grabbed it. and read, God bless the broken road, that lead me straight to you.
Kaidne bit down on his tognue peircing so hard he was shocked it didn't break. The last time he found a note like that, he had ended up find his brother dead.

Savanah sat up quickly. She saw that Rudi, and Melody were gathered at the door, worried. "I can find him." She said confidently.
"How? We don't have that good of a sense of smell to catch his scent, mixed with his old, and overwellmed by ours," Melody scrunched her eyebrows together, hating how true her words were.
"No." Savanah slumped. Carter touched her arm. "I haven't...told you guys everything. I can...I can sense minds." She cringed, hoping they wouldn't call her a freak. Kick her out. Like some of her 'friends' had. Like some of her family had. "I can find him, if his head is that tore up." She looked at Adrian. "That's why I was in so much pain when I touched you. Your body told me to back off, because of your mental trama. I could sense, and feel everything that you were exeriencing, but amplified, because I was at such close range with you." She looked back at everyone. "I can read minds too, a little. Usually, I just get a general feeling for their thoughts, if I concentrate, but with Jet...I'd be able to hear his thoughts as clearly as if he said them, from a mile away." She paused. "Like Adrian." She whispered. "Now, everyone, just follow me, and...don't think loudly." She grumbled, and took off, her paws digging into the floor so she could get some distance shortened between her, and Jet. She heard Rudi, Melody, and Carter shift after her, catching up almost instantly. Rudi was very agile, when he wasn't high. He could be very serious, too. Melody was a streek beside her, paws thumping on the floor. They burst out of the house, and Savanah caught Jet's mind almost instantly. She paused only a second, waiting for the others to catch up, then took off again. Carter kept up perfectly, only a few feet behind Rudi. She heard Kaidne's thoughts screaming in worry.
"Kaidne," She barked in wolf tounge. "Stop thinking so loud. Its messing up my signal. We almost got him."

Kaidne had fought back a growl. and trotted in silence.
All the wolves had joined. Jorden was just behind Savanah his highly keen nose to the ground. Kaidne looked around and only saw on black wolf, and that was savanah. Adrian hadn't come. He didn't blame him. Then, Micheal trailed up next to Kaidne, who realed back in shock and fear. He had never met a wolf bigger then him. but micheal. he was huge as a human and he was huge as a wolf.
Kaidne just zoned him out and focused on sniffing out Jet.
Kaidne head shot up. He found some thing. He whimpered and peeled away from the pack sprinting out in front of savanah and running into the woods. Jorden trotted after him, trailed by Micheal.
Kaidne hadn't picked up on Jets scent, but he did smell blood. He thanked Savanah, he would have darted the woods blind untill he got close enough to the scent. and by then, it might have already been too late.
Kaidne skitted to a stop when he saw Jet. Just standing there. His wrist was only partly cut, as if some one had already came and stopped him. Blood trickled slowly down his hand and to the ground. Jet little body tembled.
"I don't- i don-I-I-I don't know what happened." Jets voice was scared and frightened. Kaidne looked around Jet and saw a man laying, seeminly dead on the ground. A knife in his side.
Kaidne shifted back and ran to Jet, pulling him into his arms. He was alright.
Kaidne looked at the man on the ground. A rush of glee, hatred and lothing came over him. The man was the man. the man who caused his brothers death and had raped and beaten Kaidne. He was glad to see him dead.
He was also glad to see Jet was alright. Or so he though.
Jet slipped from Kaidne's grip and fell to his knees. He winced in pain and brought his hands to his side. When he looked down at them, they where covered in blood. Jet looked up, drawing Kaidnes attetion to a gun lying near the mans body. Kaidne paniced.
"MICHEAL!" He yelled. he got down next to jet and pulle him into his arms again. Jet clung to his side.
"I'm.... sorry." Jet was starting to sound light headed.
"Don't you be. That man desurved to die." Kaidne reasured Jet.
"No... not that. I'm.... sorry... I .... tried to.... leave... yo..." Jet fell limp in Kaidnes arms, unconsious. Just them Micheal ran up to the two and took Jet from Kaidne, who didn't want to let go and ran him back tothe house. Kaidne just stayed there, on the ground, tears in his eyes.

Savanah settled onto the ground beside Kaidne. She sighed, large black head resting on her paws. Her back was just barely touching Kaidne's leg. She wasn't sure that he liked her. She wasn't even sure if he wanted her in the house. That made her sigh again. Melody had taken Carter inside, leaving them alone. Savy lifted her head, to look at him with one glossy, black eye. She made a whimpering sound, nudging him slightly, not trusting her words. Dog's seemed to make people happy, so she would try that. She leaned against his side, her head resting on his knee. She liked Kaidne. He was serious, which was a refreshing change. He was also caring. Under Savy's tough, and snarky exterrior, she was actually really sweet, and loving. She just didn't show people that, until she was absolutly sure that they wouldn't leave her first. She had only shown Adrian that side of her a couple of choice time's. She was so terrified of opening up, she had trust, and social issue's. That was why she was such a b***h when she first met everyone. It was her way of protecting herself. And so far...it worked. And now, she chose to show Kaidne just a tiny portion of her heart. Just to show she cared. Another sigh rocked her chest, blowing out her nose.
"Savanah?"
"Awe s**t!" Savanah snarled, still in wolf form. She leaped up, changing in the process, just barely keeping her balance. Coal was standing by a tree, looking at her with worried eyes. "Do you not understand what 'go away' means?" She snapped. Then, she noticed that there was something different about him. He was taller, more muscled, stronger looking, and more serious. He wasn't wearing a shirt, only baggy jeans, and flip flops.
"Coal...what happened?"

Kaidne didn't know what was going on. But he sure as hell tried. Jet had tried to kill him self, Jet got shot. Jet killed this man. Jet had bleed out in Kaidnes arms, and now savanah was acting like she liked him. But, Kaidne knew the feeling of being lyed to and used, and this was not it. Savanah may actually like him. Then, a sudden realization came over him. No one here was going to hurt him. Why Kaidne hadn't realized this sooner? He had been treated poorly, hurt, abused and used his whole life. So this was new to him. And for the first time in a long long time, Kaidne felt safe. And he knew he was safe. At least if every one was like Savanah. Then Kaidne might actually stay here. Before tonight, Kaidne was mostlikely going to leave. Go back to the life he knew. Living on the streets. Doing anything he could for money. But now, he knew, or at least hoped he knew, this place was safe.
Then, some one called fo savanah. Savanah jumped up and shifted back. Tender moment gone. Kaidne sighed. It seems every one needed savanah right now. Kaidne looked behind him and saw a boy. The very boy Jorden hated. Only now....
The air seemed to change, and he didn't seem normal. He felt different, he smelled different, he looked different, there was a change in his stance.
Oh God. Not another mutt Kaidne sighed and pulled him self off the ground. Just as he did, the man on the ground, thought to be dead, stirred. He wasn't dead. Kaidne felt a snarl come over him. This man desired to die. He had taken every thing away from Kaidne. His childhood, his innocence, his social skills, his courage, his trust in other people. Not to mention the worst of all. He took away his brother.
Kaidne shifted as he lunged towards the man. But jorden, who had been watching the who time, leaped from the trees and struck Kaidne on the side. It didn't seem like he could win. Kaidne was a huge, strong, build wolf. Jorded was small, lean, agile, and seemingly fragile. But Kaidne just crashed to the ground, Jorden over him, with now fuss.
Kaidne scwermed and escaped Jordens pin. He shifted and fell to his knees crying.
Jorden shifted back and went over to Kaidne. He help him up, said a few things, and started leading Kaidne back to the house. But then cought a glimce of the boy.
A slight snarl came over him. Jorden could sence, this boy wasn't a just a boy any more. Jorden fought back the urge to attack. And turned and lead Kaidne back to the house. Coal never leaving his mind. Jorden didn't want to deal with him. He would let savanah talk to him. Hoping she told him to git. But he was a wolf, and he was in this town, and that made him Jordens responcability. Jorden didn't want the new guy here. But he also couldn't take the chance of some one getting hurt. But he was not going to train him. That was sure. He would leave that to micheal. Though he would have his hands full with Jet for awhile.
Jorden stayed and made sure Kaidne got in the house, and when he did, Joey threw him self at him, pulling Kaidne into his arms.
Jorden turned and walked back to Savanah And Coal. When he got there, he just stood there, a good twenty feet between them, and eyed over Coal.
Jorden wanted nothing more then to beat him to the ground and force him off his territory. But he kept his actions peacefull and as non-threatening as he could.
