I got a question about subspace storage! Are star seeds removable to that space, since not all Negaversers and very few senshi have pockets?

Shazari: Nope! Your subspace pocket is, well, your subspace pocket -- it doesn't take well to you putting things in it that aren't yours. Having it be possible to store starseeds in your subspace storage would be an absolute brute to try and RP around -- once a starseed was taken, no one would ever, ever be able to get it back, which would mean we'd constantly be having to come up with strained and agonizing plot contrivances for how to continuously avoid characters' starseeds being stolen. As it is, every senshi and Negaverser has a shirt -- if you don't have pockets, stick the starseed in your glove or your shirt or your shoe or so forth.

Sailor Europa seems to have a picture of Linarite (going off of RPs here)-if she wanted to, could she theoretically go through a yearbook of Meadowview and see if there were any girls with blue hair and bows? If so; would she be able to figure out Linarite's civilian identity? Same with Negaversers-if they somehow managed to get a picture of a Senshi, could they find out a civilian identity by looking at yearbooks from the schools? You'd obviously need to get permission from the other player to do this, of course.

codalion: No more than anyone with a photo of Superman could recognize Clark Kent. Due to henshin glamour, powered identities and civilian identities don't remotely resemble one another except to people who already know. Destiny City's a city full of hair colors and eye colors and crazy-looking people up the wazoo -- Audrey Collins is definitely not the only blue-haired girl around. Unless Tallulah wants to suspect Audrey Collins, Charys Murphy, Larissa Duncan, and every other blue-haired person in Destiny City of being Lt. Linarite, that tactic wouldn't work.

It just occurred to me and I figured it was a pretty important thing to think about and perhaps even have added to the raffle info depending on the answer.

The metaplot characters available through the raffle obviously come with plot BUT should people considering said characters have to worry about their character having to 'possibly' die at some point for plot reasons? Is there the possibility 6 months or a year down the line staff is going to pm the owner and say "alright time for ___ to kick the bucket" or are all these characters safe from death (unless of course the owner suggests/asks for it)?

It wouldn't affect my decision on going for a metaplot character but I think it's something that might affect other people's decision. I figured better to ask now beforehand as opposed to later if/when it came up as a problem.

codalion: None of the metaplot characters in the raffle are slated to die! <3 We definitely would never raffle off such a character without clear warning, and we would never give someone a doomed metaplot character in general without making it absolutely clear to them from the outset that they were doomed.

Do corrupted senshi advance like normal senshi? Are they 'reset' from their current level back to Sailor Senshi when they're corrupted?

This was asked in the main thread, so I just wanted to get a clarification. biggrin

Natsube: My understanding is that they can advance BUT they are not reset-- Tisiphone can become Super Sailor Tisiphone through the Negaverse, but this hasn't come up yet. Sailor Nova was still SUPER Sailor Nova when she was corrupted, she didn't go down a level.

Shazari: That's my understanding as well, applying to Negaverse senshi corruption. That kind of corruption is a lateral movement. A sailor becomes a corrupted sailor, a super sailor becomes a corrupted super sailor, an eternal sailor becomes a corrupted eternal sailor.

Ok, I must begin by saying what a fabulous shop you have here. The artist(s?) is amazing and the characters are rendered so wonderfully. Next, I've been lurking for a while and have finally decided to try my hand at a character. While I would love to win one through the raffle going on, I am absolutely baffled by the amount of information and am completely confused as to where to start and what exactly is required in a form for a custom character, human or otherwise. Please tell me where to start.

Few curiosity questions~ <3

Is it still possible to rez BP kids via RL slots? If so, is this still the only way to rez them, or could they be won in a contest or raffle? Also if so, do they need to be approved through the subforum/stamping, or would they already be considered approved?

Thanks! c:

Question on youma-- I know youma are supposed to be obedient (even if it's reluctantly so! : D) to their captains, but can they act pet-like, almost friendly to their bonded captains? Could Serandite chill with her youma for example, after a starseed stealing mission? For example, sleeping against it or petting it?

Shazari: Yes, though this is not consistently the case. I also would caution a Negaverser against getting too attached to any one youma!

I also know they have more than the standard youma intelligence (I've seen obsidian's one talking <3) so their intelligence may be on the level of a basic human, in terms of very basic knowledge of talking/comprehending?

Shazari: Not necessarily, but sometimes! Some youma may speak a human language, but that doesn't necessarily mean they possess a normal human intelligence level. Your mileage may vary. <3

Going back to my questions on Page 6, there are youma that are humanoid and some that are just monsters that look like animals or bugs. Would the shop push for more people to have humanoid youma, or can we just toss out an idea and see if it gets approved?

codalion: I'm pretty sure the party line on youma is "make up whatever works for the battle." If you're unsure about a particular idea, feel free to ask one of us! There are no stupid questions, but they all cost $5. Except if you know the password.

So... I have some curiosity questions. Will there be a whole spill when the the rest of the faction/details/info is put up on corrupted senshi?? I mean right now I know we know things like.

Charonite/the negaverse corrupts them
They're I think slightly more powerful in this stage(? unsure on this feel free to correct me)
They're VERY rare.
They can become super through the negaverse
The only one we know of to have been cleansed is Nova.
Who died.

rosemilk: We'll be having some more info up very soon.

Will there be more details on how to turn them back to good?

Like will Chronos, Selene or Moon be able to cleanse them back to being good?

rosemilk: Currently, the only thing that could do this, unfortunately, would be the power of the Silver Crystal. Sailor Nova died, was resurrected using the power of Ancient Lady's crystal, and therefore was saved -- and now suffers the ill-effects of postcorruption like Kunzite (can't heal properly).

Will they be able to become Eternal too or is that too much as far as a senshi is concerned?

Will they have the same requirements as a normal senshi or will theirs be on a case by case basis as far as upgrading?

rosemilk: Corrupted senshi levelups are going to be addressed soon. Most likely they'll have normal senshi reqs.

What abilities do senshi loose after being corrupted? Do they loose anything like the cavaliers that were corrupted no longer can heal as fast? Do the senshi gain the ability to teleport?

rosemilk: They gain the ability to teleport, and their healing is normal as it's fuelled by dark energy. It's only AFTER they're cleansed that they lose the ability to heal as fast. Their attacks tend to warp but they don't lose anything specific. Their inability to henshin down can now be corrected by Queen Beryl through magic. Most often they have amnesia -- but only if they've spent time as a senshi before being corrupted. Vivianite suffered no such memory loss.

Also, despite the fact this probably(?) won't happen, can Cavaliers become corrupted? What happens if they are corrupted? Do they stay cavaliers or do they become regular Negaverse LTs?

rosemilk: This will be addressed more, but: so far, the only known corrupted cavaliers were the Shitennou (Kunzite, Nephrite, Zoisite, Jadeite, Mortalitas) who were specifically corrupted by Beryl. When a cavalier is bonded to a senshi, the cavalier's starseed wraps around the senshi starseed -- and if a Negaverser were to reach in to try to putz with their starseed, they wouldn't actually be able to find it -- it resides in the sailor senshi's chest. For a sailor senshi who's bonded to a cavalier, their starseed is now figuratively Teflon-coated, and cannot be corrupted so long as they're bonded to a living cavalier. Note that no cavalier-senshi bond is maintained with reincarnation: Dylan and Cora, for example, weren't reborn bonded to each other, but had to bond to each other anew once they awakened, as did Hector and Aphrodite. A comprehensive explanation of the senshi-cavalier bond will be available in the upcoming Meet the White Earth Court page.

Cavaliers would become regular Lieutenants. However, Charonite actually has no interest in corrupting Cavaliers -- any more, that is. smile The only one he'd attempt to gain is Kunzite, and that would require beating Kunzite one-on-one.

Questions on Senshi attacks. If this is answered in some thread, feel free to point me there. Anyway the first question is: If a Senshi were to summon an object related to their sphere, would they be able to keep it out through the whole battle, or would it need to be re-summoned each attack?

rosemilk: We generally try to stay away from summoner objects. If you have an object, it should only last for your attack. We prefer for the senshi to not be able to summon weapons because weapons are very much a Cavalier and a Negaverse trait -- the senshi are meant to be magical creatures. Having things tends to be a sign of Captaincy. Note: Helios' bell, Aries' knives, Aphrodite's chain.

Also, added on to that question, if a Senshi were to summon an object related to their sphere, (this is assuming it does not return to their subspace pocket) would the object, should it be used in an offensive attack, be able to be used as a sort of shield/defensive object? i.e. A stick is summoned by a Senshi whose sphere is Pole-Vaulting (unaccepted sphere I believe, but this is just an example xD) and the Senshi, after using their attack to the maxiumum times they can in a single battle, would they be able to stick around and fight, but by using the pole as a defense weapon to try and block an attack or something?

rosemilk: Again, having an object in your subspace pocket is going to constitute a weapon -- the senshi of polevaulting could have an attack where they summoned a magical energy pole to pole over something (i don't know, stop laughing) but they could not physically have a pole to hit people with. It should not stick around.

Last question. Not aware of if this was answered before or not, but is a Senshi (or Negaverser, I s'pose) able to use their body in a fight? Such as punching, slapping, kicking, etc.

rosemilk: Absolutely. This happens all the time. The Negaverse SHOULD be doing this, and the senshi often do.

1.)Should have been more specific. Would the shop approve of more humanoid or more animal/bug/etc. -like youma when it comes to being the youma for a Negaverse Captain?

Shazari: We don't really have an objective preference here -- this is because your youma is most likely going to die. And you'll get another one, and that one will die too! And so forth. As a result, we don't have a strong preference either way; youma are another form of killable 'character.' What we'll actually be giving you more information on soon is Where Youma Come From and so forth. <3

2.) What is the password?

Shazari: The same one I use on my luggage. biggrin

Spaceballs! Is it 1-2-3-4-5?

Shazari: How did you know?! That's uncanny!!!

Cuter: She actually paid me $5 to get it. Sorry Shaz, a gal has to be able to eat. sad

Oh wow. Brave enough now to ask a question.
For the raffle prizes, do we have to get the information on the different senshi's marked and approved before we can begin to play them? Like, do we have to make a quest for one of the premades before we can begin to rp, or will we be able to make them as we want with no crits or marks?

Shazari: Yep, you'll still have to get a quest accepted before you'll be able to start roleplaying. <3

Regarding Cavaliers and Senshi, in LP's post you said:

This will be addressed more, but: so far, the only known corrupted cavaliers were the Shitennou (Kunzite, Nephrite, Zoisite, Jadeite, Mortalitas) who were specifically corrupted by Beryl during the 1980s. When a cavalier is bonded to a senshi, their starseed wraps around theirs -- more info on this to come -- and if a Negaverser were to reach in to try to putz with their starseed, they wouldn't actually be able to find it. Another bonus is that your starseed as a senshi is now Teflon-coated, and nobody will be able to corrupt you as long as you are in a bond.

Does that mean those cavaliers were bonded with Beryl as well? Or was it just Beryl controlling them? And a cavalier/senshi can only bond with one senshi/cavalier at a time correct?

Shazari: I've poked in above and edited Rose's answer a bit to help clarify things a bit there, but in answer to your question, no, none of the cavaliers were or are bonded to Beryl. Because of the nature of the cavalier-senshi bond, which is a symbiotic exchange, cavaliers can only bond to sailor senshi. Further, since this involves displacing their whole starseed, they cannot bond to more than one individual at the same time. None of the corrupted cavaliers would have been bonded to any sailor senshi at the time of their corruption -- since they'd have needed to have their starseeds available in order to corrupt them.

Both Ares and Gaia have a weapon, although they are not Captains-do all Parallel Senshi have weapons?

codalion: Ares and Gaia do not so much have 'weapons' as they have items that are part of their attacks. Weapons are items that a character, when powered, appears with and has the entire time they're powered up.

If, let's say, Sailor Selene attempted to put the soul of Sailor Hermes into a civi-formed Negaverser, what would happen? Same with Cavaliers.

codalion: Corrupted people can't inherit an uncorrupted soul (though the reverse may, perhaps, be true, though unrelated to the Parallels). Similarly, people who already have a pastlife soul cannot inherit a new one: the same thing would happen with Kunzite, for example, that happened with Aries.

Couple questions, just for the sake of curiosity.

There is a chibi sailor in the raffle prize list. Does that mean that there can be a regular sailor of the same sphere? And otherwise, can there be chibi sailors of current spheres, i.e. chibi sailor of rainbows? (Even if so, I suspect these would be very rare and special, right?)

Shazari: I'm going to put a firm "no" on this one, personally. The fun thing about being the sailor senshi of drumsticks is that YOU are the sailor senshi of drumsticks -- you, more than anyone else in the world, are the culmination of all that is drumsticky in the universe. It's all about you. If we allow chibi senshi to reuse spheres other people are already playing, that takes away what makes each senshi's sphere so special and great. For example, Proxima's sphere is the Nexus, which I think is a really cool sphere and I'm glad I came up with it. I put a lot of thought into exemplifying that sphere and how to play it. It wouldn't be fair to, say, Sailor Virgo's player if someone else came along, thought, "wow, Sailor Virgo's so neat! I want to play that!" and created a Chibi Sailor of Innocence. That wouldn't be a very nice thing to do. So out of respect for the characters that already exist, all spheres are protectedly unique. <3

How young chibi sailors can be?

rosemilk: Twelve and under, and we'd ask no younger than 10 currently.

Metachars (like Diana and Eyes and so on) should be marked, right? Do they get marks faster because they are metas? (The answer doesn't affect to my methods of choosing should I win something from the raffle.)

Shazari: All characters will need to have a profile that's been marked accepted by our stampers before they can start roleplaying. Stampers will work with raffle winners to help them get their profiles to an RP-ready state, but particularly given how many people will be doing this at the same time, it's unlikely any fast-tracking will be particularly fast. Our stampers are human, and we try not to break them! <3

How active should we be to own/RP meta characters? Like if one is slow because of real life and not able to post every day or even every week, could that kind of person own the meta character? (Got already an answer in main thread but thought that someone else might wonder this as well.)

rosemilk: We're still putting this into a formal activity rule. The thing is, there's no hard and fast rule able to be made, and we have to take each player case by case -- if you owned a character and posted only once every two weeks for your entire career, not being around at events relevant to your character, you wouldn't be making activity requests. However, we're going to do up some stopgap "this is how active you should be."

Thank you for your answers. Just the way I thought.
