There was a sudden loud 'boom' and the floor rumbled for a moment. The building itself was fine, though the noise sounded like it was near. There was then a sudden silence. "Yeah... totally gunpowder..." she said distastefully. She covered her nose, though no one else in the room could probably smell it.

Damien cursed. It was probably the royal army having found their hideout. There might be a battle. They would also need to relocate the hideout.

Rex tightened the grip on his blade and a sword of fire erupted from the tip of the sword. he suddenly lunged, right behind the flame, and attempted to slice damien in two. if the attack hit him, there would be two pieces of damien.

Damian casually leaned to the left and the sword swung right by him. The look on his face seemed to be almost that of being unimpressed. "Oh, please" he said as he reached into his desk drawer and grabbed his custom made steel handgun from Zenon. Technology was improving greatly.

Rex slashed at the hand gun, and he was too close to miss it, the metal of his blade would slice the gun in two.
((lol please note the fact i have you beat in experience xd ninja ive been in my fair share of sword fights.))

Damien looked down at his now useless gun. "Oh, well. Guess I'll need another one" he said casually. He then turned to Rex. "Of course that will be after I kill you" he said while picking up a strongly forged sword also from the same place his gun was made.

Rex smiled as he lunged to stab damien at his midsection. he didnt want to under estimate damien, because if he did, he knew the consequences that could happen.
((i hope damien knows that rex is a bounty hunter, and could just as easyily be paid out of killing him, and even paid into killing the queen's guards))

Damien countered Rex's attack with a slash of his own sword. Damien had made himself undertake rigorous training so that his skills improved quite a bit. That is why no one dared to try and take Damien's place as head of the revolution. Or, if they did, they were never seen or heard of again.

Rex's scarf suddenly made a swipe at damien's legs as rex made a slice at damien's sword arm.

"What the?" Damien said, falling over. He slashed the scarf with the sword and grabbed Rex's sword with his hand. His hand got burned a bit, but it was a sacrifice.
