Haruka froze when he saw Takeru, their eyes met, and he stepped back, looking around franticly for someplace to run. Wait… why am I running? Is it because I just attacked someone? Or I don’t want Takeru to know? Why though? he quickly pushed past Takeru, having nowhere else to go but the roof. Students were already swarming the classroom, and he was sure Joe would tell them who did it, and then his Father would yell and ground him, the teachers would give him detention... you moron! all this for what? a lunchbox?!

Haruka that the football field wasn’t the best place to hide, but it was empty. They did keep them clean, it wasn’t like there was gum or anything stuck under the seats, or anything like that.
He was curled up under them hugging his knees to his chest and glaring at his lunchbox, trying to remember what he’d put in it last night, and if it was worth it. He then decided it was all Joes fault anyway, the Teacher had informed the entire class that he was 'hypersensitive', as they put it, and not to touch him. Of coarse at one point or another, they’d bump into him in the halls, and told him he was to short for them to notice.
He sighed, and opened his lunchbox, only to find that he had completely forgot to pack a lunch at all, “noooo… all this for nothing!!” he let out a sob and slammed his head into one of the seats, hoping to die of a concussion.

Haruka sat there, and let out a heavy sigh, “I think I’ll just go home…” he muttered, looking down at his hands, “I’m doomed anyway, why not just skip the rest of this crummy day and get it over with…” he bit the inside of his lip and sighed again. Its hasn’t been though, you met Takeru, and for a brief moment you felt normal… he rolled his eyes, “not even he can save me now…” he replied to the voice in his head, you sure? He might not help with the problem, but he’ll make you feel better… “how do you know? You met him this morning…” he rubbed his head, wondering why he was talking to himself. He stared wide-eyed at the bloody step he had bashed his head into, realizing he had sliced a fine line in his forehead, he rubbed it, wondering how he never felt the it. He sighed, now he had to go to the nurses office… he rose to his feet, and grabbed his lunchbox, walking back to the school, still holding his head.

Haruka wobbled down the halls, dizzy from his wound, he was glad the halls were still empty, but continued to look around. He reached the nurses office, and knocked on the door, second time today… he thought grimly to himself, he didn’t want to make a habit of coming here,
“come on in.” the doctors voice called, he open the door, and he gasped, “on my, what on earth did you do to get that?”
Haruka bowed his head, “I hit my head…”
“on what?”
Haruka didn’t answer, it wasn’t that he didn’t want to, he just couldn’t. It was sad, he already missed Takeru…
The doctor walked over, “please, have a seat and we’ll patch you right up.”
He sat down, happily, and wondered why they called it a ‘nurses office’. The doctor walked over, and pulled Harukas hand off of the wound, blood streamed freely down his face, reminding the doctor of tears.
He silently remembered what Takeru said earlier about; only if you stay with me, and wished he was here with him now. Though it wouldnt have helped much.

Once Haruka was bandaged, the doctor sat across form him, “I know I’m not the one to ask you this, but how are things at home? Your teachers told me that sometimes you come to school with… marks…” he paused, carefully watching Harukas expression, “anything I should know about?”
Haruka froze, his teachers noticed? He looked away, “I-its nothing, I’m just really clumsy and fall over things on my way to school…” he bowed his head, “thank you…” he spun and ran towards the door,
“Wait!” the doctor lunged forward and grabbed Harukas wrist, Haruka almost screamed, wincing, he bit down on his lip to stop himself, “if you’d just tell someone, you can get help! You don’t need to suffer through it any-”
“Thank you…” Haruka pulled away, “but I’m fine, really, it doesn’t bother me anymore…”
The doctors hand dropped, but he remained silent as Haruka opened the door and stepped out, closing it behind him. He took a step forward, and staggered, and leaned on the wall. He opened his eyes, now trembling, and looked up at Takeru.

Haruka paused, and rose a hand to his bandages, “I-I did…” he replied, blinking up at him as he continued to tremble, he looked away, gritting his teeth in an attempt to stop himself from doing so, but only seemed to make it worse, “I-I’m fine, just … cold.” He didn’t want to lie to Takeru, but forced himself to, he looked back, “why are you here?” he asked, trying to change the subject as quickly as he could.

Haruka winced, and his eyes widened as Takeru hugged him, his warmth surrounding him. He instantly stopped trembling, and for once felt relaxed when someone touched him. Haruka blushed as Takeru spoke, he listened carefully, finding some kind of pleasure from listening to Takeru’s voice. Haruka was unsure of what to do, or how to reply, he knew his friend had more important things to do then protect him, but he wasn’t going to say that to him, “o-okay…” Haruka replied, smiling, “Y-you don’t have to though, I can handle it!” again he was trying to sound tough, but couldn’t hide his blush or smile.
