Birthplace - Nibelheim
Blood - AB
Cloud was born in Nibelheim, and since he was young he has always been a fan of Sephiroth, and hoped to become like him. He left home to join Soldier, and later became Soldier First Class. After certain events, he left Soldier and became a mercenary. After Barret and Tifa hired him to Avalanche, he has already set his mind to fight for the planet. He pretends not to care about anything else than money, but still he believes in what he's fighting for.

Sephiroth's is nine feet long. but Cloud's looks so much cooler than his because it is like seven blades in one. I like his buster blade too.^^

seph's is longer, but I definitely would go for Cloud's sword in a battle. It looks so much more badass.

Sephiroth's sword is most definately longer, I have seen the measurements of the real sword replica's that were made by square enix, you can't argue with the makers =) (man I wish I could get one of those swords...)

Well, in the term "longer," Sephiroth's got a pretty long 'sword...' Probably one of the longest swords of all of the gaming world.
But, in pure wideness, Cloud's blade is so much wider than this.
But, it all depnds on your style, I guess. The long blade is made for swift movements and graceful running of the user. The wide blade is for a strong holder, and used for close ranged fighting to stop a running opponent. All depends, all depends...

Sephiroth's sword is a little longer then a dai-katana, which is a 6 to 7 foot long katana, but i think cloud's swords are cooler(i mean his swords in-game, all of them).
