Katara smiled. "Aang was on an elephant koi, and then the Unagi attacked it. He got away, but then later of he rode the Unagi, and cleared the fire in the village. It was foolish, and brave at the same time." She didn't mention that some of his motives were to impress her, that was personal.

A soft smile tugged on Mika's lips. "I was not in the village at the time, but Suki described the day in great detail." She thought for a moment. "I guess that makes me twice indebted to you!" Mika chuckled as they came down the main road of the village. She motioned to a small house to the lft, with bluebelles and lily-of-the-valley floweres sprouting out of the dew-covered grass. "Home sweet home! You are most certainly welcome here."

Katara bowed to Mika gratefully. "That is very kind of you." She said, straightening up. She looked around. "Hm... I need to go find the guys, before they get in trouble. And you still need to meet them, and Toph. Especially Toph!" She said happily.

"Well, if you wouldnt mind, I would love to change out of these clothes." Mika glaced skyward, and sheilded her eyes from the glaring sun. "The day is getting hot, and my training clothes ar enot weatherproof." She smiled at Katara. "If you go and fetch your friends, could you possibly meet me back here?"

Katara smiled. "Of course." She said, bowing to her. After watching her go off, she went to go find the others. "Aang! Sokka! Toph! Zuko!" She called. She went over to Appa, looking for them.
Ty Lee went over to Mika, already in her pink outfit. "Hey Mika, gonna get changed?"

Mika grinned and opened the door for her pink-clad friend. "Yeah, the sun is getting pretty hot. Coming in?" She lightly stepped through the doorway. Inside she looked around and smiled. The wood-paneled floors were smooth as ever, and her water-tribe tapestries still covered every wall. Her two trunks lay at the foot of her neat and tidy bed. But as always, Mika's gaze was drawn to the middle of her airy house. A sandy square, about 10 feet by 10 feet, housed a sunken pool, about a foot deep and roughly 6 across. The light grey stone basin held pale, shimmering water, taken directly from the Spirit Oasis up north. Mika stretched and walked over to her trunks and started rummaging around for some summer clothing.

Ty Lee walked on her hands into Mika's room, and then flipped back onto her feet. She looked into the pool. "Isn't this, like, the same water that Katara used to save Aang?" She asked Mika, looking into it.

Mika looked up from her trunk. "I think so. If she used water from the Spirit Oasis, then it is. It can do wonderous thing." She held up a river blue tunic-dress with a clean white hem. "Its got a hood...but I like it anyway. What do you think?"

Ty Lee smiled. "It's cute, and it would compliment your eyes, and body shape." She said, studying it. "I approve!" She said jokingly.

"All right, as long as you approve, Ty Lee, then I will gladly wear it." Mika played along, joking as well. She untied her belt and set her sword and fans on her bed. She stripped off her silver over-dress, and lay that on her bed as well. She shook off her long white dress and sighed as the smooth fabric slipped off to the wooden floor and let her skin breathe easily. Clad only in her under-clothes (think like katara's), she slipped on her tunic before re-tying her belt around her waist again. She slipped her fans into her belt as well. The blue dress fell to brush Mika's knees, and she did a few limbering stretches before sitting by the pool and sticking her feet in. "Aaaahhhh... that feels great. Hey Ty Lee, could you possibly do me a favor and pull the string by you on the wall? I recently figured out a way to partially open the roof...lets see if it works." The sky-window was cut from Mika's roof, and it was designed to open slightly to let in a cool breeze.

Ty Lee went over to the string, and pulled it slightly. Mika's contraption worked, and Ty Lee smiled when a breeze hit her. "Wow, nice work!" She said, looking at the contraption.

Mika grinned as the breeze gently ruffled her hair. "Its seems to be working fine! Care to join me?" She motioned for Ty Lee to come sit beside her at the pool. "Would you like some kiwiberries while we wait for Katara?"

Suki smooched Sokka on the lips.
"You'll do fine."She laughed and caressed his hand. She was too overjoyed to see Sokka again.

-Toph cracked her knuckles and yawned as she heard her name being called by Katara. "What does Sugar Queen want now?" she muttered to herself as she headed towards Katara's voice.-

Mika got up and wandered over to her ice-box. A small wooden box, it was filled with ice twice a week to keep her food fresh. A small picture frame was on top, and as Mika removed it, she stopped to look at it. It was a picture of her and Yue, painted for Yue's 16th birthday. Mika's face fell, and she knelt as she gazed longingly at the portrait. Her friend looked the same as ever, but Mika was always struck by how one and a half years could have changed herself so drastically.
