Nope. It happened probably in the early a.m., and nobody heard any brakes squealing or anything... our neighbor called us in the morning to tell us about it. He wasn't really.... damaged physically, so it was probably a head or neck injury or some such and thus pretty quick. It's still awful though.

That sucks. On the topic of depressing stories, my dad broke his collarbone while dirt biking and I had to drive him down to Kamloops (which is 4 hours southeast from where I live) on Wednesday so he could get surgery on Thursday. We just got back about an hour ago. So life's been a little crazy 'cause I have a paper to do that's technically due at midnight tonight, but I got a one-day extension on it. So it's been a pretty crazy adventure and it won't end until my paper's done.

Actually, I shouldn't say depressing 'cause he's doing much better since the surgery. The hard part is not letting him do anything for the next few days.

You ever notice how a movie comes out and all of a sudden merchandise dissects the crap out of it? I mean, hobbits and elves after the Lord of the Rings; Pirates after Pirates of the Caribbean; Zombies (don't know where that came from); Vampires after Twilight. It's crazy.
But the Zombway thing was funny...lol

Well there are many things to talk about, and if you run out of them how can one be a good writer? *Panic mode initiated*

Um... happy things! Today some friends and I went and saw Singin' in the Rain and Casablanca at this really gorgeous epic theatre that only shows old movies (seven bucks for a double feature plus a guy who plays a Wurlitzer organ between shows, and everything at concession is a dollar. yay!) ... and then [on the already-long-gone topic of ice cream] we went out for gelato...
