"It would seem so." Devon agreed. "If you won't attack, then I will!" He shouted, swinging the bladed end of his weapon out at Teddie.

When the blade got close to Teddie, he threw his card at it and ducked down, rushing to Kai and Devon. "Kamui!" The card shattered against the blade and Kamui came out. "Matarukaja!" A green aura surrounded Teddie. "That's a spell that increases my attack!" He slashed at Devon.

Devon twisted to the side, pulling the chain in an arc around him, swinging it in the opposite direction.

Teddie frowned. "Uh, oh. Traesto!" Teddie vanished and appeared back at the door to the stairs. "That spell can move us to the entrance to any dungeon, since we're on the only floor of this place, I only get moved to the door!"
Kai frowned. "That's helpful." He skated up to Teddie and tried to kick him.
Teddie jumped and dodged, then kicked Kai in the chest, sending him rolling back, wheezing. "Rawr, take that!"

Devon huffed, yanking the weapon back to him. "Isn't there a limit to how much magic you can use?"

Teddie pointed at Devon. "Good point, there is. Your persona uses your will to create spells. The longer you've trained with your persona, the more you can use spells, and the higher level of spells you can use. Anyways, once all of your will is exhausted, you will be very tired. So, you can use spells till you collapse!" Teddie smiled. "I've lived here for years, so I'm pretty high in will! And I've only used one high level spell since you've arrived."

Teddie nodded. "That's why it's wise to keep your persona out only long enough to preform a spell or attack. You recall the persona, then summon them when you want something, like Kai does."
Kai smiled.

Kai turned to glare at Devon, but stopped. "Wait, I'm your sensei?"
Teddie nodded. "You were so cool when you summoned Norn! Unlike Devon." Teddie mock whispered to himself.

Teddie blocked the blow with his claws. "That was sudden Devon! You're good-ish!" Teddie slashed through his card. "Bear-sona! Bufula!" A line of ice shot towards the two.
Kai took a running start and hopped over the ice. "Dude, the bear's got some good moves."

Devon grit his teeth nd jumped the attack, making a slight miscalculation in distance. He yelped as he hit the ground on his stomach.

"Oh ouch, Devon, you need to work on your jumping." Teddie giggled.
"Ok Ted, here I come!" Kai pulled out his card. "Norn!" Norn appeared and her hands landed on three, sending a ball of black energy at Teddie. "Muodola!"
Teddie tried to jump it, but his arm got his and he tripped. "Ouchie!"
