Its not my fault you’re such a moron

Derrin,
Major Grouch

Just leave me alone

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Derrin let himself be pulled along; she was surprisingly strong for her size. Besides why would he fight back? He liked being this close to her, the smell of her hair was intoxicating.

As she explained her living situation Derrin's mind suddenly thought up all horrible things that could happen to a pretty girl living in a tavern, in fact once he was pulled through the door all sorts of awful sights met him. That old woman in the back chatting with her grandson? She was obviously the young man's captive and would be sold off to the highest bidder. The man behind the counter of the bar wiping it down? He was poisoning the food.

Once it became apparent that this Helen person was not coming down Derrin turned to Clara, "You live here? ... I can't allow that, think of all the dangers. You could... come and live with me?" He offered quickly continuing on, "Really, it’s no trouble there's an extra room anyway."

Derrin normally wouldn't have offered Jaren's room up to a complete stranger, but it felt he knew her all his life, if she were to stay with him he'd be able to see her every morning and she'd brighten his days. He’d say good night to her and be blessed with sweet dreams for once in his life, it would be… perfect

"But try to keep your secret then... Jaren was one thing; he wouldn't notice his nose unless you pointed it out to him. The blood stained pan you have to keep under the bed in case you start coughing in the night, your fainting spells. Good luck pal you just bought yourself a sinking ship, lets see how long you can make it float."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feh, How annoying.

Helen wasn't here. Well that wasn't fun. Clara set the gift down in a box that had Helen's stuff in it. She'll find it.

Derrin then mentioned her living with him. It was nice of him to offer, but they had only met for an hour. Though the place was a little dangerous. It would be nice to have her own house, this would be close enough. There was an extra room, and she really didn't have a whole lot of stuff. Maybe it would work out.

"I'll move in with you, we just have to get my stuff." She said with a smile.

Forgotten Morph

PostPosted: Fri Feb 26, 2010 6:25 pm

Well, there was his old lover, at least. Even if Ephraim didn't recognize him, the real one was still in there waiting to come back out again. He'd just have to wait it out. Magic didn't ever last forever, the morph knew that, so there had to be a time limit on this one. Wouldn't take too long, hopefully.

The morph got to his feet, smiling down at Ephraim, and held his hand out for the prince to take. "Well, since it's my fault that you lost him, how about I help you find him? It's only fair, right?" His smile was winning and gentle, and though Ephraim felt a bit suspicious he took the offered hand anyway. But, the moment the prince was up, Kishuna slipped behind him, still holding the same hand. He grabbed Ephraim's other arm, pulling them both behind the prince and holding them there. His lips brushed the young man's ear lightly as he whispered to him. "Sorry, but I can't let you do that. He's not the right one. I'm sure you'll figure that out on your own soon enough."

So he slipped through town, dragging Ephraim along with him. He didn't want to try warping with an unwilling participant; Goddess knows what that could do. So instead he tried to find some sort of exit that he could get out of town.... but these people were everywhere now, 'couples' that weren't really couples at all but just random people getting together. What the hell?! This was wrong.... ugh, they needed to leave. Now. The morph turned towards an alleyway, not noticing that Roy was nearby, apparently embroiled in the middle of a scene.
PostPosted: Fri Feb 26, 2010 6:49 pm

Even now, the blurr was still there. His cheeks flushed red when it came in contact with this morph's hand. It was..warm, gentle....a familiar feeling. That ended as soon as he was restrained with his arms behind him. That grip hurt what the hell! Help him find Roy his royal a**.

It didn't help that without Ephraim knowing it, they were slowly moving away from all crowd and the feeling just kept getting worse. Part of him was frightened, Ephraim didn't know why while the other part of him knew what he was expecting.

He didn't know why and he didn't know how. Somehow he just knew. They came to a dead end of the back of some building where nobody bothered to even walk there unless trouble was going on. At the very moment, Ephraim was even more scared as to what might happen. His fears were confirmed when the man had suddenly thrown him against the corner of the wall and held him there. His right hand pulled a little above his shoulder while with the free hand grasped his jawline.

By this point, whether the charm was still in effect or not, Ephraim was scared. Probably more then he had been even when he was fighting the dark god.

At the same time, the prince was hurt. Because of the charm, he couldn't figure out why. He could feel the knot twisting in his stomach, ready to lurch up to his throat at any time. Why did this hurt him more then when he had to bring down Lyon with his own hands? Who exactly was this person if he was able to bring tears to his eyes by that...loving look the morph was giving off.

((...i feel this is too cheesy))

Kishuna pulled his lover to the side, then brought him up against the wall; if he knew the prince well enough (he thought he did) then he could keep him here easily. So he did hold him there, body pressing lightly against his lover to hold him in place, looking into his face. There was still that familiarity there, and he could almost see something in his eyes, but.... the prince was looking up at him, scared, as if he were a stranger. As if they had never met and he was a complete stranger...

"... Don't you.... recognize me anymore?" The morph's voice sounded a bit dry and cracked, as if it were hard to form the words. "You're really... in love with him?" ********, that really hurt... he had actually kept himself with one person, he'd completely stopped even looking at other people, he'd actually CARED about this one.... and now it was gone because of someone screwing around, some kind of.... ugh, it didn't even matter! He'd been happy, and now it was disappearing and he couldn't do anything about it.

His head lowered for a moment, hair falling forward over his eyes to obscure his face. "It... isn't fair..." He didn't move for a minute, then looked up at the prince again, liquid shimmering in the corners of his eyes. "It's not fair! I had someone to care about.... goddamn it, come back!" His fist slammed into the wall next to Ephraim's head, and his body shook slightly. Why couldn't he do anything....?

((What about cheesy, Ephy? ;D~))

In the name of my Goddess, I shall follow my orders...

To bring forth the love from the heart...

And drive the sadness away.

҉☆═━┈ EROS ┈━═☆҉

User Image The Heaven cast its rays under the guise of the sun, letting life grow upon the land. It brought forth the warmth upon those who lived. There was not a single cloud among the blue sky, making it appear as it was the ocean above the living heads. It brought forth the breath of life to those who breathed.

Suddenly, there was a shadow coming forth from the sky under the lighting of the sun. Its silhouette began to form. It had a body of a man and the wings of a bird. Though it wore very little light armor, it brought forth the aura of grace and love. Its wings were pure white like a fresh coat of snow as if it would remain its innocence and purity. Thus, an angel descended from heaven.

Not too far from the manor but away from human's view, Eros descended from his flight. Once landed, he slowly folded his wings as they went underneath his cape and disappeared from view. He observed his destination before him.

He knew what was the problem and who was responsible for the trouble. Now, he was on the mission to find his subordinate and cease her mischief at once. But what was he doing at Fefga's Manor instead of Eryis? He figured this would be the first place to search for Psyche.

The Commander knew full well of his subordinates, whether it was publicly known or private. It was one of his jobs to know their background if working for the Division of Knowledge. Therefore, he knew his cupid's background well... Well, more apparently, his cupid informed him about everything about herself.

Eros remembered during one of Psyche's trainings, she informed him about a promise she made to a spirit named Fefga. She told him about Fefga's description, where she lived, and what was her duty in Learania. So if it was the promise Psyche had made, then Fefga would be the first person the cupid would visit.

Eros walked toward the manor, wondering if the spirit of the manor was still here. As he walked closer, he saw two figures in front of the manor, one who was doing laundry and the other sitting down. Remembering what Psyche informed him, she told him that her friend sometimes mingled with those living in the manor. Could they be those who lived there? There was only one way to find out.

He continued walking toward the duo, his left hand rested on the hilt of his sword. Though his sword could not shed the blood and he had nothing to fear from these two beings, one could never know when to be cautious to use for defense. As he walked, he sensed a familiar power. It was the love spell he sensed. A spell directly from one of the duo. When was this being shot? He did not know, but he would deal with that later. Right now, he had some information he needed to seek.

Making his presence known to the duo, he stood and observed them. One was a yellow-haired General and the other was the Hawk King. He recognized the description. They must be Amelia and Tibarn. He remembered he had assigned one of his subordinate to match these pairs to their destined partners. It was written in the scroll his Goddess had.

When he was able to have their attention, he looked at the first person who asked him and said, "... The spirit of this manor. Is she here?"

This was utterly chaos. If Rajin was in his right mind and knew Loki the God of Chaos, he would surely blame him for the sick twisted chaos he was put into. However, since Loki was nowhere in Learania and this may not be his type of chaos (no matter how many disasters Psyche had put her victims through), the tiger couldn't point the accused finger at him. Not to mention that Rajin still wasn't in his right mind. Now then...

"R-Rajin! Snap out of it!" Joshua shouted as he grabbed (though in Rajin's mind, it was more of a wrap) around his neck and tried to pull himself up. Oh, oh, oh! It seemed that the Swordsmaster was very anxious to get into his pants so quickly. This fellow must be very horny and feisty. The tiger had to give him credit. It would be boring if his "prey" was very submissive.

"Getting anxious, aren't you?" Rajin smirked as he slid his hand behind Joshua's back and pulled him close to him. There was a low vibrant coming from his chest, letting Joshua know that he let out a low soft "purr." Rajin lowered his head toward the swordsman's neck to give a trial of kisses. As much as he wanted to get into the red-haired's pants, he knew very well not to rush in too quickly. After all, you needed to put up the adrenaline and savored the last part. It was similar to the hunting, only differently.

As Rajin left the trial of kisses, he felt his ears being rubbed. He let out another low growl as his tail swung sideways to show that he was enjoying it. This made him wanted to cuddle up the Swordsmaster. However, his tiger instinct urged him to maul the swordsman. So which reaction should the tiger follow? Becoming a cuddled cub to the Swordsmaster's touch or becoming a predatoral tiger who always got his prey?

... Eh, screwed it. He's s tiger laguz, not a cat laguz.

Rajin gently grabbed Joshua's wrist and pinned it over the swordsman's head as he did with the other hand. There was a lustful smirk across his smile as Rajin looked at the Swordsmaster hungrily. "If you're tasted so good on the outside, let's find out how tasty are you on the inside."

Before the Swordsmaster could protest, Rajin plunged his head and kissed him on the full lips. The lips were soft but a bit chapped. Maybe his tongue would be able to make it smooth again. However, that wasn't enough for the tiger to taste. How could he taste the inside if he couldn't get the entrance open? Well, there was one way to go so.

The tiger bit Joshua's lower lip, letting the swordsman felt the pain jab onto the lips. He knew very well that beorc usually opened their mouths whenever they felt their lips bit. They either tried to gasp for air or wanted to yelp. However, the tiger knew that he now had an entrance.

Rajin instantly shoved his tongue into the swordsman's mouth, exploring the cavern inside it. Joshua tasted better than he thought he would imagine. Maybe he would savor it more later on. And if Joshua tried to use his tongue to push his back, that would be a sure sign that the Jehanna king was aggressive and tried to dominate him. Well, he wouldn't let this beorc top him.

The tiger pulled his tongue out and broke the closing apart to take a breath (and to save his tongue from Joshua's teeth if the swordsman had planned to chop it.) He then placed both of Joshua's wrist together and held them down with one hand as his other hand roamed down toward the waist. He placed his finger hooked onto the rim of the underpants.

"So..." Rajin smugged seductively as he looked into Joshua's eyes. He gave a tug on the underwear. "Do you want to continue playing the foreplay or just skip it and get on with it?"

While the writer was headdesking herself since paragraph two, her character was in the bathroom, taking God-knows-how-many showers and mouthwashes to get the awful feeling and taste off of him. If this continued on, the writer may have one bald tiger laguz to play.

Tibarn just barely felt a nick to the wing, like something small had clipped his feathers, as he left Eyris airspace, and after a quick spin to see what it was, he wound up dismissing it as his imagination. There was a little warm feeling, though, that spread from his chest as he flew, nothing big, nothing special, but it relaxed him quite a lot, and a little smile spread on his face as he circled down toward the manor.

It was as he sat, looking at Amelia, that his mind seemed to cloud. She looked beautiful, moreso than usual, and a sudden voice in his ear urged him to profess--

Wait, what? His lip curled a bit as he closed his eyes, pushing the voice aside. The little voice, quite frankly, seemed to be shocked, but Tibarn simply let out a long, slow breath through his nostrils and looked up again. Resisting the strange, confusing feeling was less than pleasant; the beginnings of a throbbing headache mustered up around his temples. "I... I've been thinking about that talk we had, about, you know... duty, and friends. When you wanted to go to Estarcia."

Amelia watched Tibarn for a long moment, reaching nervously into the washtub to scrub the stained shirt once more. Tibarn's behavior was strange-- the brash and self-assured Hawk King was rarely hesitant, and yet he was clearly having difficulty speaking, or perhaps gathering his thoughts. When he spoke at last, he seemed restrained, as if deeply bothered. "Okay," she murmured, pushing the shirt back into the water and wiping her hands once more on her apron. "What about it?" The conversation had been, in some ways, life-changing for Amelia; she was glad she had had it, in retrospect, but didn't like to reflect on the stressful event very often.

Tibarn sighed, stretching his wings and sitting back some, pressing his palms to the grassy ground behind him. "I... I dunno," he said after a long moment. "I know... when I left the guild, it was confusing for a lot of people. I've been having... doubts about myself. My purpose, what I'm meant to do. I've been a warrior and king, and... yeah, I know everyone thinks I'm this big unstoppable badass, but..." That nagging voice was striking up in his head again. She cares for you! Look at her, concerned...

He shoved it aside and growled softly, "I have never felt I deserved any of it. I'm a terrible king. It was my role to lead and protect my people, but... I could not stop the Serenes Massacre. I turned my thoughts and my people to vengeance, violence, and hatred. I made my people into pirates. And even when Serenes was at last restored, it... it was not my doing, not even in part. It was the work of a beorc. A beorc who would go on to clean up all of my messes, to undo the blunders I made as King of Phoenicis." His temples began to throb once more, and he closed his eyes tight, shaking his head. Unfortunately, that only made things worse. "He rescued Leanne, and orchestrated the end of a foolish grudge war. He made great strides in the unification of the races, which my actions had long hindered." He shook his head again, less forcefully, but it still worsened his headache. Still, however, he pushed that voice aside.

Later, he would be thankful for it, because if anything, the spell helped him drop his guard and open up to his young beorc friend. "My actions here, as well. Try as I might to do good, my talons always bring harm to my friends, and my mistakes are always left to others to fix. Ayra... I tried to free her from Madrianna, and we two were punished, separated, and freed... by you, and the others. I killed so many at Easter... And... Vaherianslyeri," he added, more quietly. He paused to gather his thoughts when he was interrupted by a figure who was... hard to look at. The Hawk King's eyes wanted to slide away from Eros, and his head began to pound vengefully, eyes watering as he forced himself to look at Eros and bring him into focus.

"What? You mean..." He blinked to clear his eyes, and Eros seemed to fade as he opened them, but he once more forced himself to see the man. "Er... Fefga? She..." He ran his fingers through his hair, then began to rub his temple, closing one eye tightly and staring at Eros with the other. "She's gone. She hasn't been seen since... Loki's minion destroyed her." His long, pointed ear twitched, and he added suddenly, "Who... are you, to ask?"

Amelia sat quietly, listening to Tibarn intently. She couldn't pretend she knew much about his history in Tellius, aside from what she knew from Rhys-- he had told her about the massacre and restoration of Serenes, about the different countries, the two devastating wars, but she did not have the personal experience nor the perspective to understand it completely. Still, she knew enough to see that the events had apparently shaken the King of Hawks, much more than he ever let on. He was always cool, composed, and so the insecurities he spoke of, the terrible burden of responsibility he took along with his power, came as a bit of a shock.

She began to respond when Eros arrived, and she very nearly jumped to her feet in surprise at the voice from behind her. Slowly, cautiously, she turned and moved backwards, around the washtub and closer to Tibarn. After the laguz spoke, she nodded, eyes narrow as she struggled to observe the peculiar angel. "Yes... I saw it with my own eyes. She was defeated, and no one has seen her since then..." She squirmed a bit, wishing she had her lance. The man was unnerving-- it was as though he was really and truly there, perhaps the only thing that was truly there, and everything else was transient. He was fundamentally different from anything she had ever seen before, and her experience with the outer planes had been largely unpleasant thus far.

҉☆═━┈ EROS ┈━═☆҉

User Image The spirit of the manor had been defeated? Then that would mean that Psyche hadn't came to this place. If she did, she would have surely ran to him whenever something terrible brewed. She always did so during her training. Somehow he was not surprised of his subordinate's naivety. Psyche had never paid attention to her surroundings well when her mind was focus on one thing.

Since the spirit was no longer here, he had no time to idle. But before he departed, he heard the Hawk King questioning him.

"..."

Should he reply back when he had other business to complete? He had nothing to seek from these two for more information. What they informed him was enough to tell him that Psyche wasn't there.

Eros turned his head to looked back at the Hawk King. He could sense that the laguz was powerful. But there was something else looming around him too. It must be the love spell he sensed earlier. So Tibarn was the one who had been shot. And if the Hawk King hadn't seen anyone but Amelia, then this would be a problem. So far, there wasn't any trouble cause between the two. However, he had to eliminate that spell immediately before trouble would.

The cupid marched toward Tibarn closer, enough for him to have a range distance. His eyes still didn't left the Hawk King's view from sight.

"... Just a traveler who comes by to see this place. I have heard stories about a spirit living in this manor and I want to know if the stories are true." Eros replied. Though his reply was partially true, it wasn't even partially lie either. He had to be careful with his words toward these beings. He didn't want them to know that he, like Fefga, was a spirit.

"... You have a smudge on your jacket, sir." Eros commented as he jabbed his sheathed sword at the Hawk King's jacket over the heart. The smudge magically appeared when he tapped his sheath onto the jacket. Although the way Eros made when he commented was a bit rude, no one liked to be poked with weapons, it was the only excuse for him to perform his duty.

He wasn't being nicknamed The Liberator for nothing. Though his job was to cast love upon the couple, he did more than that. He freed the hearts of the lovers to express their feelings toward the people they were destined to love. He had chosen carefully of where and when to shoot so that one couple could be together. Not like the mistakes Psyche had caused. For his award of serving the Goddess and performing his duty so well, the Goddess gave him the sword which cut the love spell in case something went wrong. He had never used his sword ever since until now. Did the Goddess know what would happen in the future? Maybe that was the reason he had the sword that had the opposite power to his main weapon.

Now sensing that he had freed the man from the love spell, Eros turned around and walked before the Hawk King would say ill words toward him. He had no time to quarrel with him. There was still the problem in Eyris.

Once he was far from the eye's view, he unfolded his wings and flew off, heading back toward Eyris. He hoped his subordinate didn't cause any further.

User ImageMeanwhile in Eryis, Psyche performed another great (disaster) love of making another couple in love: a man and a mannequin. It was too bad the cupid didn't seen the mannequin from behind the man's back or else she wouldn't shot him. Oh well, it looked like the man had his very own sex toy to play with.

As she trounced down the street, waving her arms in merry way, she happened to hear a noise. She stopped and turned around. The cupid saw two dogs growling at each other, ready to fight. Psyche let out a frown.

"That's not how you show your friendship! You need to stop it right now!" Psyche nagged at the dogs. Again, the beings in Eyris were still unable to hear or see her. Seeing that the dogs weren't respond to her, Psyche humped her chest. She was not pleased at all.

"Okay then, you've asked for it!" Psyche growled as she reached her hand to the headdress and pulled out a small purple sack. She opened the sack and pulled out a small, white pearl orb. "With this ORB OF FRIENDSHIP, I will make you be all friends again!"

Before Psyche could do anything, a cat strolled passed the dogs. This made the dogs stopped their fighting and chased after the cat.

"Hey! Come back here!" Psyche shouted as she chased the dogs. It was no good. Those dogs were going too fast for her. Only one way for her to do.

Psyche threw the orb at the dogs. The dogs were moving too fast, causing her to miss it. As the orb crashed, it let out a scent of sweet and breeze-like. The customers who were near it smelled it. They then became more friendlier than they usually were before and hugged each other as if they were friends despite that they barely knew or met.

Furious that she missed, Psyche pulled out another orb and continue to chase the dogs. One after another, she continued to miss. Oh! Why couldn't these dogs sit still for her? It was so frustratinig.

The cupid threw another orb and missed as it crashed near a mad crowd. Psyche ran passed the angry mob as she continued chasing the dogs.

"DON'T MAKE ME PULL OUT MY LOVE ARROWS!"

Who on earth would- Oh, wait, he recognized that voice. "Akihi?! What are you..." Abel stopped and sighed, at hearing Akihi's question. "...Something that makes these people's anger very justified... Please, Akihi, don't-"

Before the boy could continue, he felt a sudden change inside him. It was almost as if he had been hit by something, and yet it wasn't exactly pain that he felt. It was something he could not understand, something beyond his comprehension. When he looked up at Akihi, the feeling maximized, and sent forth a flurry of odd commands to his brain. Akihi was trying to save him? And Abel had never noticed, but he was... really rather good looking. He looked a lot like Alihi, and even had similar body structure. This was scandalous, and yet it could not be controlled.

Without thinking, Abel ran forward, in front of Akihi, and spread his arms out, blocking Akihi from the oncoming mob. "Akihi... th-thankyou, but please, run away! I did a bad thing... I can't run away from it anymore." He glanced back and blushed a little. "I don't want you to get hurt because of me. ...I care about you too much."

Before more could be said, the mob began to shout again. However, something suddenly changed again. Out of nowhere, the people changed their expressions and started to hug one another. Abel looked at the crowd and blinked, with a dumbfound look on his face. "Um..." The crowd looked out toward Abel and Akihi, and instantly grew bright smiles.

"You... WE FORGIVE YOU!! COME, LET US GIVE THEM SOME HUGS!!"

"WHAAAAT?! AAHHHH!!" As the crowd ran toward him again, he pulled on Akihi's arm and began running away. Sure, it was great that they weren't trying to beat him up anymore, but this was still a little less than comfortable! "Hurry! Ahhh!"

PostPosted: Sun Feb 28, 2010 6:33 pm

The mage just stared blankly at Abel. What in the world did he do to deserve something like this? The only time he heard of or could think of having a mob ganging up against the person is if the person did something completely horrible. . . . Did Alihi know about this?

No doubt. She know a lot. . . . He thought to himself, biting down on his bottom lip subtly. His curiosity was running wild, but apparently he wasn't going to find out anything else about the situation; after all, Abel seemed to be avoiding the question completely and--

"I don't want you to get hurt because of me. ...I care about you too much."

. . . Huh? Akihi, to put it bluntly, was very, very confused. The comment came out of nowhere, and Abel was blushing as he said it. This was a detail that Akihi wouldn't have noticed on most occasions, but it jumped out to him this time and made him think a bit. Normally, he would have simply written it off as simply a part of being Abel's love interest's brother, but this time . . . it was just weird and--

"AAHHHH!!"

. . . You know those days where you just wish that you didn't crawl out of bed at all? Well, this was rapidly becoming one of those days for Akihi. The purple-robed mage followed behind Abel as they ran away from the mob that had a very sudden mood-swing, now more confused than before.

"First off," She said, "You have better let go of me. Second, I can take care of myself. Third, stay away from me." She glared at the man. Melethia wanted for the man to let go of her and for her to get on with her day, which she wish was over.
