Hiniko was afraid she'd cry again if she looked at him so she looked to the hill where she had first learned Juken with her uncle. "I know..thanks you" she responded but fell silent. She couldn't tell him and it was driving her insane.

Vincent came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"It's been such a hellish time, Hiniko." Vincent said, "We've been through so much. Too much in fact. Come. Let's head back to our tent for more rest, shall we?"

Hiniko closed her eyes and leaned her head lightly on his shoulder as he wraped his arms around her again. "Vincent I would love to..I want nothing more than to rest again for a while....but I think I should get to training. Zin most likely is working on it, and I don't want to fall behind. Besides the hokage willw ant us to get to work soon." She bit her lip. She hated telling him no.ugh he is going to end up hating me she thought.

"You're right, Hiniko," Vincent said, "We should get to work on helping things out. Let's go find the Hokage then."

Hiniko looked at him kind of confused. She didn't expect him to give in so easily. "He's sleeping remember?" she explained. "He had fallen asleep near the memorial"

Vincent laughed, "oh yes. Silly me. I guess I'm too used to being in a state of urgency. Plus, it is hard for me to see you so unhappy. Would you mind if I tried something to help you smile?"

Hiniko looked at him curiously. "sure but uhm..what is it?" she asked. What was something diferent he hadn't done before he could do now to make her smile?

Vincent turned Hiniko around to face him. His arms wrapped around her and then he lifted his shirt up a little and began tickling at her sides.

Hiniko was a little confused by what he was doing at first but then she did laugh at this. She didn't know why but her sides were really ticklish. she giggled aloud. "Hey not fair!" she laughed.

Vincent smiled and saw how his plan had worked. She tried to squirm away from him but then he brought her to the ground where he pinned her and continued to tickle her sides. It was such a joy to hear her laugh and to see her smile. It was like seeing the sun come out for only a few moments at a time while being left in darkness the rest of the time.

Hiniko couldn't get away, and her eyes were tearing up with laughter. "Ok ok its working you can stop" she laughed trying at a fail to push his hands away. she hadn't laughed like this in forever and it felt odd but nice to her. she kept laughing though

Vincent had stopped and rolled over onto his back and pulled Hiniko over so that she was lying on top of him.
"Feel better, love?" he asked with a great grin on his face.

Hiniko smiled looking down at him. "A lot better" she replied hosetly.

(I know but I think that Vincent wanted so much to see Hiniko smile)
Vincent leaned in to kiss her. "Let's head back, shall we? I would just like to be beside you for a little longer in our tent and just rest."

Sev, after his prolonged thoughts on his new lifestyle he would have to endure, decided it was best to head back into to town. After some thought he decided he could start helping with the repairs the town would need.
