User ImageSinopa's eyes widened at the coldness in Thea's eyes. She definitely wasn't as innocent as he thought she was...

The creature was there, around the corner, on the wall, ceiling, wall, floor, coming at them- Sinopa was actually amazed at how fast this creature was! Of course, the skinwalker took a step back from Thea, letting go of her partially out of shock and fear. Although, another part was just him getting ready to do something.

Unbuttoning and unzipping his shorts, as well as taking off his bandana and armband in fluid, practiced movements, Sinopa stood there for a split second, stark naked, before he wasn't human anymore.

In his place, a red fox stood, legs tensed, teeth bared in a growl as Thea made some kind of ice weapon to fend the beast off. Taking no time to think about what she just did, he pounced forward, leaping onto the beast like a blur of red and white, and closed his open jaw around its neck.

The creature, not liking being attacked, lashed out at Sinopa, sending him flying down the hall, just barely missing Thea. It's neck was bleeding, and when Sinopa stood and bounded to Thea's side, the fox spit out some bits of flesh and growled once again.

Sinopa was ready to take this creature down.

Lisa slowly opened her eyes. Her mind felt clouded and confused. She looked up blankly at the ceiling that was nothing but blank white tiles. Was she in the hospital? But how? When? Panic started to set in her heart along with fear.

She bit her lip, as her mind tried to go over past events. The last she knew she was in her class. Talking to one the teachers. After that her mind drew a blank.

Panic started to take over more fiercely inside Lisa as she tried to remember what could of happened that she would be in such a place. Was she going to die here? Her eyes filled with tears as she thought about such a fate. She didn't want to die, yet. There was so much she wanted to do in her life....

Lisa closed her eyes and let the tears fall. She didn't want to be here. She was scared. Was this how her mother and father felt the day they died?

Amadeus had a system, and Elijah didn't exactly like it. Whenever Tsuiyo seemed on the verge of crying and depression, Amadeus would throw in Daisuke's name and a reassurance and BAM! The kid seemed pretty alright. Elijah didn't like it too much for he felt he was deceiving the child. They had been traveling around for a long while and hadn't run into anyone else. It took the two long enough to find a group of people. Was Daisuke really there...or was Amadeus just using it as a way to put up with the kid? Elijah wasn't sure, and he didn't like the feeling that came with the thought. To think, the two had been spending a long time with one another and the ebony haired teen still couldn't figure out the smoker.

Silence filled the group, for a little while at least. Blondie went over to talk to coward, the girlfriend to horn lady, leaving Amadeus to somewhat babysit. Not that the kid was bad, just...Amadeus couldn't ever really connect with anyone, and thus, normally didn't do anything. That, and the fact that one of his eyes couldn't function properly and was hidden away didn't help. The two document siblings both continued to think silently to themselves until the blue haired kids question brought them out of their minds, three eyes in total looking over to the boy.

Only to look back at one another. What were they doing before they woke up here? 'The Girlfriend' (or, as Elijah thought, like any normal person: Miss Thelesis) spoke first, interest lighting within the smaller boy. "Really? What sort of costume were you making, if you don't mind me asking?" he asked with interest. Sewing was always interesting...especially his mom's sewing. She couldn't sew to save her life. The entire family knew it, including herself, yet she persisted. The best thing she had made was probably sewing on a button for Amadeus one day. Then again, the occasion was important and she really had to focus.

That, and Amadeus refused to show any pain when she continued to repeatedly (accidentally, of course) stab him with the needle (for she had sewn it on his shirt when he was still wearing it). The memory brought a small grin to his face before he realized it was his turn to answer.

Elijah began speaking, his tone rather uncertain as he looked at the floor, as if it had all the answers. "We were..."

"I think we were watching a murder mystery on t.v. That's the last thing I can think of...everything else just seems muddled," admitted the normally silent figure.

"Oh! If you remember that much, do you remember who won?"

"You did. It was Hannigan this time."

"Yes!" The exclamation was followed by his arm raised in the air in excitement. Victory was his for the moment! Bringing his arm down to Amadeus's shoulder again, the young male looked the other two ahead of them. "I hope they're getting along, though. It's never fun to work through things with tension in the air..."User Image

"It's not like we're going to see them again after we get out, Elijah. They probably live no where near us."

"...Why can't you think positively, 'Deus? I want to try to make friends. You should too."

"Yes, Master."

"'Deus..."

"C'est l'amour."

"Defend my- oh, you must not have noticed," he muttered, chuckling slightly (there was obviously a nervous undertone to the small laughter). Without budging he tried to look up at Fallax, only to watch as the guy turned away. This was going to be harder than he thought. "Okay, remember that creep back there who could cut things with his mind? Well, apparently, I've been turned into a freak too. I can make barriers- big enough to defend myself and a few others. So I'll need someone who can turn the tables..."

Soryuju sighed, starting to turn his wheelchair. He didn't understand why he was feeling so persistent. After a moment of analysis, he figured it must be the urge to give the guy a pair of his own kahunas. It wasn't so much a 'rarara HAVE COURAGE' thing as it was a 'be confident in yourself' thing. Soryuju was drawn to help people like that; mostly because he was just like that. Hypocrisy at its finest.

"Well, think about it at least," he said with a shrug before going back to wheeling forward down the chosen hallway, though much slower, so that the others could catch up. "Because when the time comes, I'm going to throw this thing to somebody, and if it happens to be you, I'll need you ready to catch it regardless."

Soryuju chuckled, and hoped Fallax realized that Soryuju was now just making friendly banter. Was he likely to pick it out? No. Few people tended to catch on that quickly to Sory's 'friendly' ways.

[[Fallax : Section A : Hallways]]

With the explanation complete, Fallax couldn't help but let his own mind wander a bit, "I wonder... if I have some kind of power too... probably not." He whispered most of it quietly to himself. Fallax looked back to Soryuju with his last comment. He wasn't quite sure how to take the comment, his first thoughts were that throwing a sword would be dangerous, and a sword flying at him would likely turn out badly. He walked up behind the wheelchair, taking hold of the handles instinctively, "Just make sure you give me a heads up first. Friendly fire is not friendly. And probably warn everyone else too... flying swords aren't friendly regardless." It was pretty obvious Fallax was taking it literally, he didn't seem have a sense of humor, or the ability to distinguish sarcasm.

Fallax gave a slight extra push to the chair, "So... what's it like? Having super powers? Does it feel any different?"

It was a good thing Sinopa attacked when he did. Thea's attack hardly slowed the creature at all, and in an instant it had pushed itself off the wall to lunge at her again. It was halted by canine jaws clamping down on its throat. Thea fell back into a practiced defensive position, ready to move at a moment's notice, which was good, seeing as the shapeshifter was tossed off and right past her, almost hitting her if she hadn't been prepared.

She didn't have time to contimplate Sinopa's unexpected change. Didn't have time to figure out that was actually him, and not some other random creature that had been locked up down here. She also couldn't afford too much time to think about her next move, or the implications of her water ability being turned into that of ice. It all boiled down to time.

So, confident that she could at least fling something at this beast, she summoned the water again, this time as good sized daggars aiming right for the heart. Like before, the water didn't stay fluid, but turned into ice immediately as she summoned it. The momentum was good, though, and it turned out large chunks of razor sharp ice could do some damage. They stabbed the creature in its heart, causing it to stumble for a moment. It was wide open for further attack.

User ImageSinopa followed after the ice daggers, bounding forward on his paws, leaping at the creature once more. His jaws once again closed against it's throat, but this time, managed to actually do what he intended.

Places paws against chest, he tugged and tore the flesh and muscles against the neck, making blood flow from it's neck, before once again getting knocked away. This time, though, he wasn't so lucky as to just get flung down the hallway.

Sinopa hit the wall, letting out a yelp as he struck it. Oh, that hurt. And was probably going to hurt for a while. Although, what was on his mind wasn't the pain, but the blood in his mouth he was spitting out. He'd bitten humans before, not to kill, but to defend, and tasted blood before. This...just tasted wrong.

Thea carelessly glanced Sinopa's way as he was thrown against the wall, the yelp drawing her attention. Her eyes lost some of their callousness, and she started toward him to help. Bad idea. The creature was most certainly dieing -the fox had torn its throat out, after all- but it wasn't dead yet, and not going down without a fight... well, more of a fight. Its claws reached out and tore into Thea's calf, causing her to lose her footing entirely, and hit the floor.

She turned around quickly, and threw another ice daggar into its head. It began twitching uncontrollably, and it was all Thea could do to drag Sinopa and herself out of the way without being hit. Of course, Sinopa could have, and most likely was, moving of his own violation as well. He hadn't been maimed in the leg like she had. A short distance away now, Thea could only watch as it continued to thrash around.

User ImageThe fox was dragged away by Thea, breathing heavily as it stared at the creature as it thrashed around. God, was it dangerous...

Standing on unsteady legs, Sinopa transformed back into a human, suddenly there and stark naked as he gripped his chest, grimancing in pain. He figured that blow to the wall must've cracked some ribs or something. But that didn't quite matter right now. He grabbed at Thea and put her arm over his shoulder.

Even with the pain, he tried to drag her away, at least to his shorts. Just to get away from the creature that was slowing down, getting less and less frantic as the blood drained from it's throat, chest, and head. Once he felt they were safe enough from the twitching, dying creature, he let the girl lay on the floor and gripped the right side of his chest again as he watched the creature die. God, did his chest burn with pain.

Thea was no stranger to pain. What she was a stranger to was the crippling fear of more pain, and of pain continued. Now that the battle was technically over, she felt the need to run again. The gash in her leg stopped that, and when Sinopa let her down, all she could do was craddle her injury and try to get a hold of herself. The wound had some of the goo-ish liquid in it, but her body seemed to repel it, the nasty stuff dripping to the floor instead of being absorbed into her blood; before her very eyes, and perhaps Sinopa's, the wound was healing.

Jaw clenched in defiance of her pain, she looked over to the now dead beast. It was still twitching, but in a much softer manner then it had been. It's body seemed deflated, the muscles no longer muscular. That strange goo covered the floor where it lay.

As of yet, she hadn't even noticed Sinopa was naked. Fear did such odd things to people...

User ImageSinopa sat on the floor, leaning his back against the wall near Thea. His armband was on his arm, but the bandana was just too much pain to put on right now. So that was in his hand, his shorts in his other. He made sure to grab them once the monster stopped moving.

He looked at Thea, his nose telling him she was still bleeding, and when he looked at her leg, his eyes studied the wound. Was...it healing?

Sinopa looked at her face, everything catching up to him in his mind. Ice weapons, that healing, her smell... "So, you aren't normal, obviously. What exactly are you? You smell like...ionized air, I guess. Like around one of those air purifiers. At least to my nose. Humans don't smell like that."

Thea was also looking at her wound as it regenerated. When Sinopa looked at her, she looked right back at him, their eyes meeting as the magnitude of what they had both done dawned on them. His question rocked her back, although she was certainly expecting it. Really, though, how would one answer that kind of question? What are you? For over five decades now she had been living as a human, with the college being just a temporary stopping point; she never stayed in one place for long. Very few mortals knew what she was.

"It was a secret," she said, looking away. "I don't- I didn't want anyone to know. It's better if they don't know." She was being vague now, her voice trailing. She turned back suddenly, "I'm here to help," she announced truthfully, though not completely, "and you are completely nude."

She didn't mean to add on that last part. It just kind of slipped out as she turned back and noticed for the first time that he was, in fact, very naked.

User ImageSinopa had to laugh, so he did, before stopping and wincing. WOW that hurt. And talk about evasion. He should know. He did it all the time, after all.

"Not completely. I managed to get my armband back on, after all. Though the rest...I think my ribs are broken or cracked or whatever. Too painful to do much else, really." Looking at the 'girl', he smirked. "And you didn't answer my question."

She'd have to be blind not to notice that wince, and if that wasn't obvious enough, he told her. Cracked ribs seemed likely. She recalled the fight, how he was tossed up against the wall, the crack as he hit, and the yelp...

Time to do what she did best. "Hold still," she said, leaning over and putting one hand on his arm to support herself, the other directly over his chest, slightly under the heart. She was rather close now. In response to his persistent questioning she just answered, "I am... here to help." She was really reluctant to tell.

User ImageSino drew in a small breath as she touched his ribs, the air hissing into his mouth. Just that light bit of pressure hurt. And she was close. Very close. She was very pretty, too, and he hadn't been in pain and partially scared at being attacked recently, he probably would've shown his 'enjoyment'. That, however, was something he didn't have to worry about now.

"Here to help...why? Why help? What are you that'd make you want to help? And what are you going to do?" He'd seen people whose 'help' was putting an animal down when it was hurt. He didn't really want to be put down. Death was not comforting.
