Ami listened to all of the chaos that ended with falling down the stairs. "Ouch." she said, not really knowing what else to say. She stood up and walked out the door and down the stairs, then sat quietly next to Leon. She couldn't lift him, she was malnourished and weak. But she did put him into a more comfortable position for when he woke up. Knowing that it was likely that Shayla and Mayla might mess with him more, she sat guard, feeling an emotion that she had never felt before. Sympathy. She pulled some gauze out of her back pack and began to tend to his wounds, humming quietly.

Leon woke up when he fely he was moved. He muffled a scream from all the pain and saw Ami over him trying to help his most recent injuries. He felt confused.
Ami....thank you..i'm sorry for.......attacking you........earlier. I really actually do want you to stay....don't...leave. If you could...get my...sword....please.

Shayla watched in awe as Ami sat guard. Shaking her head, she walked back over to Marco. "You okay? I'll never let him try that again, I promise." Shayla vowed, gazing lovingly at her mate. "MayMay got Leon's arm fixed, but Leon just fell down the stairs, soo..." She trailed off, glancing back in her pack's direction.

Ami sat there for a moment, taking in his apology. Then she nodded and stood up. She quickly went up the stairs, passing Mayla, Shayla, and Marco, then grabbing Leon's sword. She made her way back down the stairs again, sitting down next to him on the floor. She leaned it up against the wall by Leon.

Leon let out a quick yelp of pain and tryd to hold back a tear from escaping.

"No. I can't leave you right now. You're still hurt." Ami replied. She continued to stare up the stairs, standing guard over him. "I won't let them hurt you again."

Leon let out another scream of pain and started to cry from all the pain. He turned his head to try and hide his tears.

Ami felt heartbroken at Leon's pain. She bowed her head and stood up. "As you wish." she said. She walked up the stairs, glancing back at him when she got to the top. Then she stepped into the apartment. "Marco, Leon says he's sorry." She leaned against the side of the doorway, still slightly guarding Leon's broken body. "And Shayla, I think he's suffered enough." she said firmly.

Leon gasped in pain and saw Ami leave. He was glad she left si he could face Shayla alone. He was about to give in to Shayla, he couldn't taje it anymore. Suddenly Leon felt strange. His body started to twitch and he was having a seisure from all the pain.
Ami! Help me!

Ami heard Leon's panicked voice and disappeared from the door. She was next to him in an instant. A seizure? she thought, looking down at his jerking body. There wasn't much you could do for that. She gently pinned his arms and legs to the ground, so that he couldn't hurt himself. "It's going to be okay, Leon." she said reassuringly to him, struggling to keep him pinned. Tears of her own were beginning to form.

All leon knew was that he was gaving a seizure and Ami has trying to help him. He was aware but had no control over his body. He screamed in pain. Slowly the shaking stopped and he relaxed. He leaned away from Ami and threw up.

"It's okay Leon, you don't need to apologize." She let go of his arms and legs and sat to the side, exhaustion overtaking her. She yawned tiredly, leaning against the wall. "You don't mind if I sleep here do you...?" she asked, slurring the last part as she fell asleep almost instantly on the floor next to him.

Leon saw Ami fall sleep. With the arm Mayla fixed he grabbed his sword and moved infront of her and tryd to guard her. The pain was too much and leon passed out. He fell over and fell asleep infront of Ami with his sword in his hand ready to protect her.

Ami slept, no dreams disturbing her. Usually she had nightmares, but not tonight. A small thump woke her up, and she opened her eyes to see Leon asleep in front of her, sword in hand. "Thanks, Leon." she muttered to his sleeping form, before rolling over and going back to sleep.

Leon heard Ami. He woke and braced himself for the wave of pain that hit. He gently grabbed her leg and shook it a little to wake her up.
Ami! Wake up! You need to go inside and sleep. You can have my bed, I'll sleep out here.
