Aegle laughed and looked back at him. "I would love to see but don't you think we should wait until after we meet your family? We'll have plenty of time for you showing me those things."

"Alright alright...we'll wait." He frowned and nipped at her playfully.
Mara was weeding her herb garden, muttering to herself about how big of a mess it had become since Druantia had left. Upon hearing voices, she turned around. To her surprise, she saw Juri and Aegle. "Juri! Hurry up and come here! You haven't been to see me since you grew! And bring your lady friend too!"
He shook his head, "Mother..."

Aegle lightly bumped him after he nipped at her. She followed after him and paused when she caught sight of Mara weeding. A demon.... weeding a herb garden. It made her smile and hearing Mara's words made her laugh. "She seems very sweet, Juri." She walked over to Mara and inclined her head, "It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Aegle...." She looked over at Juri, figuring he should be the one to tell her.

Juri cleared his throat, "Aegle is the one I've chosen to be my mate." He closed his eyes tightly, afraid to see Mara's face.
Mara inclined her head at the girl, eying her closely before smiling. "And she is very lovely. And very well mannered. So when do I get grandbabies?"
Juri flushed, "Um...well..."

Aegle noticed that Juri had closed his eyes. Was he afraid of his mother not approving? And what would happen if she didn't? These worries were quickly blown away at Mara's words. "Uh.... we haven't gotten that far.....yet....." She said blushing, "Oh goodness..... My mom is going to start pestering me about that too!" She gave Juri a flustered look.

Mara laughed, "Then I guess you'll just have to give us grandbabies so we'll be quiet!"
"Mother!" Juri wrapped an arm around Aegle, "We will do things in our own time. You had us as babies for a long time...I'm surprised you'd want more around so soon..."
"There's a difference, son. When you were babies, there was no one to give you back to. Grandbabies I can spoil rotten and then hand back to you. That makes them more fun."

Aegle was blushing deeply. She leaned into Juri but had to laugh. "You know Juri.... she is quite right about the grandbabies. Parents love to have grandbabies just so they can spoil them and then give them back to their parents." She said smiling at Mara, "I think in our case..... babies may be a little ways off. Besides there's no real rush, right?"

"Don't rush things like that. They happen when they're supposed to happen." Mara nodded in finality.

Aegle smiled. "Then we are all in agreement. No rush on kids." She chuckled and looked at the herb garden, "Your garden looks nice."

"Thank you, though it's in a terrible state. My daughter used to keep it all nice and lovely, but when she left, I had to start taking over. My green hoof is not nearly as kind as hers."
"Druantia does have quite the way with plants. I've seen her make even the most awful looking things spring back to life."

"I think I've seen one far worse than this one.... I don't think it could even be considered a garden." She said, "That sounds like quite a green hoof. Plus a wonderful thing to be able to do."
