395. You constantly worry about a J-Rockers well-being, even though you (sadly) don't know them personally.
396. You suffered through hours of 100-degree weather just because you wanted to see Dir en grey live.
397. It was the worst day of your life, except for when Diru was onstage. Then it was the most amazing.

399. If you're not Japanese but you've planned to put together a tribute band to your favorite J-rock/VK band.
(Yeah, personal experience. I thought up the idea of a Diru tribute band whilst listening to Child Prey.)

409. You bring your Cure magazine to school and lend it to your friend, who is forced to lend it to preps, who of course start going, "WEEEEEEEEEIRD!" and the magazine is confiscated by the teacher, and you have to go the principal's office to pick it up.

Totally used to sleep to Dir en grey, too.
Update on the paper front. I submitted my proposal to do a major paper on VK, just gotta get an advisor now to do it ^_~
I may submit it to a symposium if its any good.
